The alpine location is superb, just a short walk from the exceptional Albula line train. There is a nearby stream that provides a babbling brook backdrop to the scene. There is no lift, but thankfully the welcoming team helped us get our luggage up to our rooms. We were concerned about having to share the bathrooms with the other guests, but it turned out not to be a problem. They are newly renovated and both the toilet rooms and showers are secure. Bathrobes are provided in the rooms.

The rooms are very compact and not much room to lay out our luggage. But that is what comes with an historic building.

Beautiful historic house in the peaceful valley of Bever, Gasthaus Spinas has comfortable bedrooms and excellent showers. A big big plus is that they are one of the very few in the region that accepts pets. The exceptionally friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more memorable.

Hotel is situated in a beautiful valley. The hotel is nice, and the shared bathrooms, where clean and well equipped. The owner is friendly and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was also great! Good value for being so close to the larger resorts for skiing and other winter and summer activities.

Super friendly staff, helped us out with our 1-year old, providing a high chair amongst other things. The location is somewhat remote, which is a great plus if you’re into that. We took the train from Tiefencastel, making for a spectacular journey there. We had dinner there (not many other options around), which was also great. Super chill and ‘gemütlich’ atmosphere. The aperitief Hugo was amazing, apparently conceived by the owner. Clean, well-maintained shared bathroom and toilets, recently refurbished.

Ohh what a warm welcome!!! We love the staff, they're super friendly and attentive! It does make a difference. Dinner was amazing. Beautiful hotel, in the middle of the nature. During breakfast, we saw squirrel running around. Bed,new shared bathroom all great!

Great location for going on hikes, the food was great and service was great. Easily reachable by train.

Staff was polite and lovely. The hotel and the room were small and comfy. The bathroom is renovated and clean. Choices on breakfast were good, and eating together with many flies indoor 😅 The hiking route by the accommodation was lovely and calm. I only walked following the river, and turned back with the same route, not hiking up the mountain. And it was more than enough.

Transportation is tricky, the train option is very limited. If you miss the latest time schedule, you might not reach the accommodation as easily anymore. The rail construction was quite noisy when it was going. Price is on the expensive side.

The breakfast

We arrived late in the evening on Thursday missing the last train available at 21.04 from St.Moritz, no pick up available, we had to walk 3.4 km with the lagguages in the dark. Mi friend the last day carring lagguage had a witch's blow, our Ice Show was fuched on Saturday. We informed the owner we were late and we couldn't arrive by train. The structure is not open to cars for guests only for local staff., no possibility to have a ride organized.
