This is the most sustainable, fair trade hotel I have ever seen. They should talk more about it. The resort and its owner invented their own eco-technologies such as a grey water system with which the water never infiltrates and pollutes the ground or natural air conditioning systems. Nothing is bought from a big company (except the toilet paper they say) all is as local, as organic as it can be from the soaps, food or wines. The staff is Burmese most them coming from the war times in Myanmar. The hotels finances green projects for the local businesses and buys coffee from a school for disabled kids on the main land and yes it is exceptionally good. These are only two examples but ask the staff about anything you see you will be shocked they will tell you all the reasoning behind each item of this amazing resort. The hotel help people in Myanmar by sending 50USD for each booking and alternatively for 50USD booking several bnbs in Ukraine without any stay. You will feel good to be there knowing you are not polluting anything and that your money will be used to finance green or social projects. I mean just for that I love this place. I had the best time with the entire team they are lovely, passionate and kind people with amazing personal history from the manager to the cleaning lady.

The owner of this resort guillaume brachet invented its own eco technologies such as natural air conditioning or the only natural swimming pool in a tropical country in the world. All from the soap, drinks, equipment, staff, food and design is respectful of the planet and its people making a positive change. An advice: ask the staff members (any) and you will be surprised. This place is much more than it looks

From the access through a hike, it’s hidden door in the jungle, the design of its villas, it’s amazing human service and their excursions all is about the experience and the feelings and thoughts that it creates. All was organized and carefully designed for this. As they said they are reinventing hospitality and it is about time. I will come again

Not to have stay longer 10 days would have been ideal

An incomparable place and resort. A category of its own. The location, the design and the human and caring service are unforgettable. A place made with heart and intelligence. Finally a resort that is not just another resort. It is somewhere only we know.

An extraordinary architecture This resort is unique and extraordinary in many many ways. A must do for a trip in Thailand. What is outstanding here is the design. The villas have been built and designed by its owner Guillaume Brachet. This designer now creates resorts and villas around the world using his signature organic architecture a new trend in the world of design. Each villa has a unique design. All furniture and decoration are unique pieces designed by him and created by his team. The mattress of the bed is handmade a dream to sleep in. Oh yes … and it’s round. Why ? because we are not square he says. :) You will find an observation net above the nature of 16 meters long, a slide from the bedroom to the beach, secret passages in your villa … ! The attention to details is amazing and you will keep discovering new things as your stay goes. Oh and one more thing. Guillaume Brachet invented eco technologies it own for the resort. Our villa was equipped with his system which does not release any dirty water into the ground. The staff and Saw the chief of his technical team will explain you all about it if you wish even tell you how to build it with the instructions. It is truly a landmark in international hospitality design and architecture

This resort just reinvented luxury hospitality. They choose to only have 3 rooms to guarantee this privacy feeling you want in a luxury resort. The service and food are truly tailor made and done with the heart with an amazing intelligence by the entire staff. It is not formatted as nearly all luxury resort nowadays. You have a concierge who truly knows you and assit you before, during and after your stay. The huge included breakfast is served until 4h30pm ! Finally a hotel who understands that we are on vacation. Make sure to stay enough days as the island their huge choice of exclusive experiences are all you have been hoping to do in a vacation guided only by chosen locals for their knowledge and unique history. It is just beyond like I said. I do not even mention the secluded and private paradisiac beaches or the resort. I will come back and make sure to stay at least 17 days. By the way the WiFi was fast at 180 mb/s and as I recall 40 mb/s in the villas.

This small resort is the perfect couples getaway. It is luxurious, comfortable, romantic and most of all private. I recommend it to any couple who simply want to be toghether on a private beach in thailand away from everyone while being spoiled silly.

I do not recommend it for people who like going out, it takes a while to climb up and down into the beach. It is not really a 'swimming' beach. Absolutely beautiful though.

Most beautiful place where I have ever stayed. You feel like in the middle of a movie. Very friendly staff that want to go the extra mile. The villa was well maintained and clean.

Mattrass was extremely hard and the main reason for the lower score, I was very surprised to read that nobody mentioned this earlier in the other reviews. For me personally, this is a deal breaker when you are offering a place to sleep. Breakfast was simple and did not testify of much inspiration. Evening dinner cooked at the spot is pricey for what you get.

An access kept strictly secret, accessible by foot only through a short 5 minutes hike to protect the intimacy of its lucky 6 guests and the beauty of these beaches. Out of this world, it cannot be compared to any other resort: a must do

Words can not describe my experience in this amazing place! I liked everything ! The treatment, the staff, the views are exceptional, the Villa is just amazing, so beautiful. I’ve done two experiences (excursions) and they were really original and very nice to do. It’s like you are one with nature when staying there. And everybody is so sweet. They make many cute details. I will definitely come back again!

I can not think of one thing. There were two power outages, but it’s normal for the island. They immediately came to fix it.
