Location unbelievable, near the busy part of Haad Rin, but out enough where it's quiet at night, peaceful, whilst still flat and walkable to the main town, beachfront, stunning sunsets! Treehouse bar connected to Rainbow Bungalows, delicious cocktails (especially the Mai Tai!!) absolutely stunning views day and night, including gorgeous sunsets every day, lay-flat cushions all around the tree top bar, hammocks, the perfect chill spot!! The Rainbow Bungalow restaurant is AMAZING. Family run, family owned, homemade Thai cooking delicious, out of this world (Recommend the number #166 with Chicken and Holy Basil Stir Fry, with a fried egg on top!) Not just the authentic Thai food is a must, they also do the usual English Breakfasts, variations of eggs your way, bacon baguettes, omelettes, smashed avocado, French Toast, burgers etc, really broad selection but not failing in quality at all, fantastic bite to eat all throughout the morning/lunch/night. Opens early and usually closes kitchen around 8/9pm depending on business. (It is a family-run intimate place on the beach, ran from early in the morning by the same staff/owners, not a busy busy style restaurant with lots of waiters/waitresses etc). We cannot recommend this place enough, it was our first time here this year, and we've already made plans to come back to Rainbow with our family and friends next year! For the price, it's a no-brainer, if you're coming to Koh Phangan, you have to stay at Rainbow at least once! Me and my wife came here for 2 weeks on our honeymoon, they laid flowers out on the bed, a bunch of roses and bubbly ready cold, with 2 glasses (as a surprise), fantastic service!

bathroom wasn’t overly clean but it was good for money paid

The room is big, good toilet. Simple but very comfortable and clean. It’s beachfront and there is a tree house coffee shop very cozy (beach front aswell.) Next door had a hotel a bit more “party” and they have a very good restaurant, very cheap and if you eat there you can use the swimming pool.

I can not think of anything bad about this place.

Right in front of the beautiful sunset beach. The food and view at the Rainbow restaurant are great. When I injured my foot they even brought the food to my room.

The beds are s bit hard, but I just have a personal preference for soft beds.

We stayed in the beach front bungalow and it was beautiful watching the sun set each day. Room had a decent fridge and kettle, beds were big and air con worked great

The hotel next door, Coral, played music until 4am on our first night and I think the speakers were very close to the room so we could hear it all night. Not the fault of Rainbow Bungalows but something to be aware of!

Nice place, a bit away from the main part of koh Pha ngan , but very close from Haadrin. Personnel are helpful and kind, rooms are confortable and the place is charming.

Great patio/seating area outside our room. Gorgeous views of beach. Tree House bar on the premise was lovely - maybe 10/15 minute walk to busy area. Staff were friendly to us. Room was large in size.

Walking along the beach to town was a short distance however at night time the tide comes in so we had to walk in the water with many branches/rocks in the way (you can walk on road but it takes longer and some bits hilly). The property was extremely overpriced but I think that’s because we arrived same week as full moon. We didn’t get a blanket with room. Room is very basic for the price we paid but decent if we were paying less.

It’s was very close to beach,shops and restaurants. Quite at night and had a very nice atmosphere :)

It was a little bit outdated and easy for wildlife to get in side the house.

We booked this property wanting it for 1 night but had to book for 2 nights as it was Full moon night. It was a perfect location as we were close enough to walk into Haadrin but it was far enough away to not hear the party. Simple accommodation with all necessary facilities on the beach there’s nothing not to love it was a perfect find at the last minute for my young family .

Perfect location, away from noise but not too far from the strip. Friendly helpful staff and great value for money. Will definitely recommend and would stay again.
