I booked this room for my driver! as the prices were reasonable... it helped that I could afford him the same stay as me and meals too

It would be great to have more single-person rooms like this so that drivers or individual visitors can have more options

The place was fantastic, it was amazing to wake up with the view from the window: forest, river, mountains and sounds of nature only! We took “making and tasting tea tour”, it was incredible experience to collect the tea and see in my own eye what I saw in National geographic. The stuff was very good, the food was tasty and the house was beautiful

It is a little bit hard to get there, the property on the mountain and not always we manage to find a taxi fast to get us from there. But it's worth it

We did a super interesting tea plantation tour, followed by a tea processing demonstration and tea tasting, guided by the very knowledgeable owner of the tea farm. Highly recommendable!! The location of this resort is fabulous, in the midst of forest, tea plantations, and views onto a beautiful river valley.

Our room was quite shabby, needs renovation. Also the furniture was not very appealing. When you order food which is not on the menu, make sure you clarify prices beforehand, the billing system does not seem to be very flexible.

This place is worth not just a detour but the whole trip to Sri Lanka. The road to get there from St Clair is a breathtaking ride through the tea plantations. The resort is beautifully designed and well kept. We received a free upgrade and our rooms had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the jungle and a river valley down below. Every detail of the décor of the rooms is tastefully picked and the result is elegant without pretense. The food was interesting, good and fairly priced, and served on a beautiful deck with a vista. The staff was friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and it will remain a high point in our two-week visit of Sri Lanka. Incidentally, it is a steal!

Lovely big cottage with dining terrace in the middle of a tea plantation estate. Comfy super king bed and good airconditioning. wifi and TV all worked. Location is remote about 5km from town. But Staff organized tuk-tuk transport for us to visit nearby waterfall. Lovely walk in the tea plantation mountain.

The tea factory was closed during our stay, so did not see the tea-making process.

The place was charming and serene I was there for work - so returning to accommodation like this after a long day of work was incredible! The staff was exceptional and very kind to give me a lift to and from my Chalet as it was raining during my visit.

The room needed a bit of maintenance, like shaky door handles and gaps in the doors that let creepy crawlies in (and there were a few of them) but I wouldn't harp on it as the facilities were great!

We stayed at the double room which was a decent double room. It was quite, bed sheets and bathroom clean and the stuff was really helpfull and always on call. The also is really good and fresh.

The downside is that its in the middle of nowhere, so if you are passing by or planned any excursions there is nothing to do. We had some trouble with the hot water and the wifi. No kore than two days to stay.

Beyond expectations- the best stay we had in Sri Lanka. It might be a bit hard to reach the place, but once you’re there - you don’t want to leave. Restaurant was great, throughout all the meals. Loved to privacy. And the view was great. Thank you for having us and would recommend it to everyone who is looking for some peace and quiet, and great food and juices.

Amazing place located in the middle of tea fields in the mountains. The host gives a very interesting tour into the tea fields and explains the entire tea-making process. There are also lots of other activities, such as hiking, visiting a nearby waterfall, bird watching etc. Food is great, staff is very friendly and rooms are spacious. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing location in the mountains, beautiful views. Large and spacious accommodation with lounge area and private kitchen. Restaurant was very accommodating and served food quality food at a reasonable price.

The kitchen area could have done with a few more basics like washing up liquid and the fridge could have had a better clean.
