I loved this hotel, the facilities and the location were perfect. I loved my room, it felt very old fashioned England!

The staff were very attentive but I had a few issues. I had a phone call at 9:30am asking if I was coming down to breakfast (served until 10am), if I was having a lie in this would have woken me up. I also had issues with staying in my room, I booked the hotel for another two nights in my arrival as I liked it so much and arranged to stay in my room with the staff. However, on the change over day I had 4 different telephone conversations asking me to vacate my room, I even went down to reception and sorted it and then got another phone call 30 minutes later. This communication between staff needs to be sorted as it caused unnecessary stress to my trip.

Location was very good. You could walk into town quite easily. The Grand hotel was next door offering more choices of great restaurants. We enjoyed the Indian restaurant there. Araliya Green Hills staff offered us a private dining experience in The wine bar room on top level one night. The food was very good and we enjoyed the experience. It was a quiet time so we had set menus in the restaurant week days, but we preferred the buffet breakfast at the weekend which was amazing. We particularly enjoyed the masala dosas and hoppers with curry. There was a huge choice of eastern and western food. The serving staff were excellent and in particular Kalhari was very attentive and efficient serving our table. She was very friendly and spoke English very well. She also advised us of what to see in the area. Very helpful. All staff and management were extremely helpful and could not do enough for us. We did have a couple of minor issues with our room but these were sorted out speedily and efficiently to our satisfaction. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Housekeeping was great. The bed was very comfortable. We had fresh flowers and chocolates in our room which we enjoyed. We used the bar which was very quiet but had a bit of background music. The bartender was great and made good cocktails.

The TV had to be reset a couple of times and the key cards for the rooms stopped working and we had to get them reset a couple of times also.

I stayed here with my family and we were really impressed by the staff. Everyone was polite, helpful, and always had a warm smile—something that makes a big difference when you’re traveling with loved ones. They were attentive without being intrusive, and their calm, respectful attitude made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Truly great hospitality!

There was a minor issue with the room heater not functioning properly. Thankfully, the weather was mild during our stay, and the staff promptly provided extra blankets upon request. It’s possible the heater was overlooked due to the comfortable temperatures at the time. Since the overall service was excellent, we didn’t feel the need to complain—but a quick check before guest arrival would make things even better.

From start to finish we had a lovely time. I honestly can't emphasis how nice the staff are in this hotel. At arrival they checked us in, while we sat and got tea .our driver was provided with accommodation, they also showed great respect to our driver by offering him tea also. The breakfast buffet was lovely, we had the dinner buffet one of the nights also which was really good, only problem is there is too much food to try. We had our 4 month old baby with us and it was his first time in a pool here, the man who works in the pool couldn't be any nicer helping us and making our baby laugh and comfortable. The wait staff Mohan(so helpful), Vino ( who knew about Ireland and Irish dancing) Malhy, vill, Marshall and Mr Netto who were helpful and even held our baby while we eat. The lovely young man who checked us in and took family photos of us( you can see him in the photos) who's name I've forgotten thanks so much for being really nice to us and making the check in and out process so easy. We were here at Christmas the decorations were amazing and I loved the Christmas music playing in the bedroom was such a nice treat

The staff here are incredible. We were overwhelmed at the highest level of service we received. They had a genuine desire to take care of us and make our stay the best it could be. They went out of their way to accommodate the needs of our group. They also took great care to make a special setting for the birthday dinner of a group member. We thank all the staff who took care of us, but in particular we would like to thank Mr Netto Chathuri Sanath Madura Sadeepa Sanjit in the gym We are sorry if there are any names we have forgotten.

A very nice hotel close to the town. Breakfast and dinner was good with lots of choices.

On first night of dinner, being ignored and made to wait for a chef to even acknowledge me, then they have a habit of starting to put things in the wok before asking what I wanted, which resulted in some items then being fished out! Swimming pool is a bit sad.

We had a fantastic stay at Araliya Green Hills.The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. We especially enjoyed the pool, the dinner buffet, the breakfast buffet. Restaurant manager and the team are excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

As soon as we arrived, were welcomed by the staff they served nice welcome drinks. The staff very polite and well behaved. Hotel is very nicely decorated. Room are nice. They arranged a Christmas Gala dinner which was fantastic event. The staff and management are so friendly that you feel at home.

Excellent location, adjoining the Grand Hotel and very close to Nuwara Eliya town. Friendly and accommodating staff. Lodging is available for drivers and free parking for vehicles. The breakfast buffet (included in cost) is exceptional.

A la carte service in other restaurants at the hotel is spotty. Probably a function of low occupancy. You need to inform them in advance of your intention to eat there.

The staff was amazing , from reception to the room service. There was an awesome person at the Restaurant, Krishna 😇😇😇😇He was very helpful and take care of all the guests and try his level best to full fill the needs of the guests. I would say he’s an awesome person.

Nothing that I dislike But the fish curry was not that good and the choices of food items are less. Almost similar everyday. If you can improve that then it’s better😊
