The location is absolutely perfect, just on the beach and a simple, nice bungalow in a chilled environment. Lovely staff, you can choose to have your room cleaned every day if you like. Although the introduction says Wi-Fi 2 hours per day it was Wi-Fi access all day. Quiet, peaceful and just very beautiful. Food is okay, several restaurants to choose from. We stayed for a week, only had our meals at this place. Loved the Burmese salad. We had two beach front bungalows, for us and our two kids. Cold water in the shower, but we knew that and it was fine. You might see a cockroach, but that’s something you might see everywhere in Thailand. We absolutely loved the place and the good vibe, only thing missing was more sun and less wind. Want to come back for sure.

Liked everything about this place. We had a few days with bad weather and rough sea that brought a lot of rubbish on the beach. The staff cleaned it every day and was a lot of work. The road down is really steep and can feel a bit scary when the rain has ruined it, but the drivers are very experienced. Also you should know the beach has quite a bit of shade, neither sunrise or sunset, but you’ll be able to find nice spots for sun on the beach.

Most fabulous place to stay right on the most beautiful beach on Koh Pangan. I am 67 years old and it is the second time that I am there for two and a half week. The fist time I had my son and his girlfriend along. Sadly, they could not come this time. There are three great walks. Follow the road to Thong Nai Pan Beach and back. Visit View Point. Walk over the mountain through the jungle to Chalok Lam Beach and take a boat back. I have seen families there where their children just run freely around as there are no traffic and few people.

If there had been something that I did not like, I would not have been back for another two and a half week. And, I saw or heard no one complaining except a few of the tourist we all hope not to rum into, but that are sadly spreading more and more over the world. In the good old days, they would not come that far away from the usual tourist places. But sadly they are now.

It was like a step back in time to when I first came to Koh Phangan 35 years ago. A basic thatched hut right on the perfect beach. Perfect location and the food was amazing and the staff was great. This is for the traveller who wants to experience a secluded beach holiday. There are four restaurants on the beach each serving tasty food. I had massage at the resort each day. There are some walking tracks too if your inclined. It was monsoon weather while I was there so there surf was wild but I loved it for body surfing, but only for the experienced swimmer. Usually the ocean is calm and perfect for swimming. I loved staying here because I arrived with the right expectations. It was a basic hut with a fan and cold showers in the best location in the world. I knew I wasn’t coming to a 5 star resort so I wasn’t disappointed. I will return to Bottle Beach for sure.

Because of the monsoon, the boat taxis weren’t operating so it was only in and out by 4wd vehicle. This was something that bothered other travellers who wanted to do sightseeing but didn’t bother me as I wanted to hang out at the beach, eat and swim and not much more. It’s a place to take the opportunity to stare at the ocean and hills and let your mind rest.

The resort is fantastic. The bungalow was fully equipped, cozy and clean, and the bed was very comfortable and has mosquito net. The resort leads to Bottle Beach, which is gorgeous, and it has a restaurant, so you don’t need to leave it at all if you don’t feel like it. The taxi drivers are super nice and friendly and try to communicate with you as best as they can.

The last part of the path to get to the resort is very bumpy so it’s necessary to book a taxi with the hotel to get in or out - alternative is to walk around 30 min or dare driving motorbike on your own :) Note: Hot water and air conditioning are not included in price and needs to be booked on a daily basis (I found that fan was enough and air conditioning wasn’t necessary). The receptionists don’t provide a lot of details about things, e.g. tours they offer, things to do on the island.

Very disappointing menu of which they didn't have much of! No pizza and no Vodka for over 2 weeks! How can you run a hotel with no Vodka? And I kept getting told they would get some! Bring your own! Very understaffed indeed. Luckily there is bottle beach 2 down the beach ..they have an extensive menu and decent cocktails. If you are a foodie then bottle beach is not the place for you sadly....

We had a beachfront hut which was just stunning. The room was lovely and clean, bedding good and clean and the staff are wonderful. Especially Go, Pee and Jo. Please be patient with the staff. They are mostly Burmese, Thai is their second language and English their third. What may appear as “lack lustre” to you is merely their lack of confidence having come from another country that is going through hard times. Learn “hello, how are you, please, thank you and very tasty in Burmese (Myanmar) and that will make the people serving you extremely happy. Be sensitive to who they are and what they are going through. I doubt they will ever be in a position to have the life that you are. A smile and kind word will go a long way and make a huge difference to their (hard worked and long) day.

I liked everything about it

The Location is wonderful and you can really enjoy the nature. The beach was not too crowded, almost empty in the mornings and evenings. The water was really clean and beautifully turquoise. The food in the restaurant was good and for such a secluded place really affordable. All in all it’s a perfect place to wind down for a few days. Highly recommend getting a beach front bungalow.

It could be cleaner/smell better, that’s maybe the only real critique. But when we asked for a pillow replacement, they gave us even two new and perfectly clean ones. Just don’t expect a modern shiny place, it all has been there a while.

Brilliant setting and location for a relaxed family stay. Staff were friendly and cabins comfortable. While we stayed in a beach front cabin without hot water or aircon, we found this wasn’t an issue. Good food and drinks.

It would be great if there was beach towels and snoring equipment to rent. We managed to make a plan but inconvenient. Service can be a little slow at times.

We enjoyed the stay, but the bungalows could definitely use some updates. All in all it was a pleasant stay with a comfy enough bungalow. The best part of course is waking up to the great beach :)

Small things would make a huge difference - e.g. better lamps in the bathrooms, and some drain-filters to make sure no cockroach can slip in from the sinks. Also the rooms could use some love, e.g. we couldn‘t turn off the lights behind the bed, so they just removed the lightbulbs. The restaurant could use some better options for breakfast :)

The lack of cars, motors, not much people: please leave it in this way, don’t let more people there and don’t let cars and motors enter the place, don’t let to make a new road to reach the destination easily!

It’s not the the property but the surroundings somewhere were quit full of litter, waste near the forest.
