Very nice hotel, with private rooms and great location. The beach is lovely. The staff of the reception is very helpful and we did enjoy our stay.

1. Rooms are a bit outdated. Need some renovation 2. The breakfast is shameful for a 5 star hotel. It was less than minimalistic and i cannot say it was even basic. 3. The service in the 3 restaurants is horrible. You can wait for hours without being serviced or noticed.

Everything!! What a wonderful stay, location and facilities. Staff were amazing, Happy on the beech and the maitre’d of the breakfast restaurant and beach event. She was fabulously attentive and made each meal feel special. The spa was fabulous! Best facial ever on top of a great massage. The room (split level deluxe with spa bath) was fabulous. Room service was great! The whole site seemed spread out and spacious, we thought at first the hills and distances would be a challenge, but the buggy service solved that really well.

Paying extra for the arrival to the hotel pier by speedboat yet we had to use the land transfer, despite the weather being fine and other hotels serving using the beach. The menus across the hotel were broad but it felt we were having the same experience whether at Stone Beach, Pool or Room Service. They didn’t feel special, although the food was lovely.

Location is outstanding, you can be on the beach or in the mountain forest within 2 minutes, stunning views from the room/terrace and from the beautiful pools. The main infinity pool is the most beautiful I've ever been to. You're in the jungle among amazing trees, overlooking the sea. Staff is helpful and kind, buggies can take you up and down the hill within the resort.The village offers nice local restaurants and these are all within 10 min walking distance. Also convenience shops, great coffee shops and massage places.

Rooms are a bit outdated, almost no sockets to use. Terraces have beautiful views but are kind of shared with your neighbours, divided with a small fence. Service was very slow in the restaurant on the beach and food was quite average. The beach is nice but small with only 2-3 options to eat, and it's a bit difficult to get to other beaches.

Great location and gardens. Friendly staff. Great pool.

Beautiful location & fantastic food, the breaky was amazing. Our room was beautiful and the view incredible. I enjoyed my stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Something odd; staff in front reception, the buggies and breakfast restuarant were always fantastic yet go to the pooldeck or beach area and they treated you like a inconvenience. The hotel is on a mountain side and we were on the top, its not that I didnt love my room but important to know that you rely on a buggy to get you up & down (no way can walk). If you are the type of person that likes your freedom to move around you’ll want a low room.

Lovely pool villa but way to far away from any of the facilities. Very steep hills to get to our villa so a buggy was always needed and it is HOT there! Need to plan ahead if you're leaving your room as buggies need to be requested and can take time to arrive during peaks hours (one took 30 minutes on our first day). Buggy and cleaning staff were extremely friendly. Grab a boat taxi and ask them to take you to the next beach. BEWARE , returning back to the hotel at the end of the day was not easy. No taxi boats late afternoon, nor taxis close by. We had to walk 2km (steep uphill mainly) in 34c heat. Took just over 30 mins to walk back. Visit the lovely island town just a few steps outside of the hotel. Pop in to the Banana Cafe, lovely food, coffee and people.

The villa was just too remote from any of the facilities. Beach was nice, but not great. Very very quiet after 9pm. Muddy river flows just outside hotel straight in to the sea just in front of the hotel so the sea was muddy for half of the beach. Shame really. We went to another beach to the right of the hotel.

Loved our spacious and private room which had a little balcony and fabulous view to the sea. The pool area was also lovely with a wonderful outlook to the water beyond. If you want to step out of the resort, just outside the entrance gate of the resort is a shopping strip that leads to the main beach. There are many great restaurants along this road and little shops worth exploring.

Everything was great. Just beware that movement within the resort is by golf cart since the resort is set on a steep slope. Also lots of steps to and from the pool area.

-The hotel offers a fairly pleasant experience. - The staff are exceptionally kind and friendly, contributing positively to the overall stay. - The hotel is located in a relatively secluded area with a beautiful beach.

-The hotel's age is evident throughout the property, and both the rooms and the hotel as a whole need renovation. - The pool requires cleaning, and there is mold in the shower. - The hotel could benefit from having more club cars available; on two occasions, our requests for a club car were unmet, resulting in us having to walk. - The beach, while beautiful, is smaller than those of neighboring hotels. - Taking a taxi to Thong Sala, for example, costs approximately 1,000 Thai baht.

We loved being nestled in the trees up in the hill with spectacular views over the water. The easy access to the town was also appreciated. Large spacious room with very friendly and accommodating staff. Generally felt luxurious! The transfers from Koh Samui were a good deal compared to what we arranged ourselves.

Beach and water was beautiful but there was some competition for chairs. If you’re up on the hill you pay for the views with a dependency on the (admittedly plentiful!) golf carts to get to and from the beach: it’s a steep couple minute walk on a not-very-pedestrianised cart path otherwise. Happy hour is… advertised on different signs for the different restaurants but we never figured out when it actually applied.

Very good place

During checkout, you had a communication issue with the card machine. The clerk insisted the problem was with my credit card, even though the machine clearly indicated a communication error. I was forced to try three different credit cards. After several long minutes, he tried the first one again, and it worked. Meanwhile, I also offered to pay cash, but they refused to accept US dollars or find another solution. Finally, he didn't even apologize. I must say that all the other staff members were amazing.
