We had the most incredible family getaway at "Nice Beach" resort on Koh Phangan! (German couple with 2 kids age 2 and 6) It was the perfect ending to our 4 week adventure, and we could have easily stayed longer (we were here for 12 days) From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a dreamy atmosphere of relaxation and warmth. The resort's beach, Tong Nai Pan, was simply breathtaking—a true heaven for both parents and kids. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, fulfilling every request with a smile. We especially loved the evening BBQs where the owner grilled the freshest catch of the day—a delicious touch that added to the overall charm. Dinner was so delicious. (restaurant is on the beach by the way - we loved it) The surrounding area was filled with conveniences, from a variety of restaurants, supermarket to a fantastic playground for the little ones. We also appreciated the availability of services like massages, yoga school and even a children's doctor nearby. What truly stood out was the authentic experience we had. Unlike larger, more commercialized resorts, "Nice Beach" embodied the true spirit of Thailand. The locals were incredibly welcoming and child-friendly, making us feel right at home. Overall, the value for money was exceptional, and we're already planning our next visit. "Nice Beach" resort exceeded all our expectations and provided us with memories to cherish for a lifetime. We can't wait to return!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beach resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond – always available to help, answer questions, and give us great tips about the area. The food was incredible – we loved enjoying breakfast, lunch, and dinner right on the beach with a stunning view of the bay. Every day they offered a delicious BBQ featuring the freshest fish of the day, which was such a treat. The location is perfect if you’re looking to truly relax and get away from the busier, party-oriented beaches. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and exactly the escape we were hoping for. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a serene beach holiday with great service and amazing food!

Just a couple of small things to mention: in the mornings, the man cleaning the pathway with a brush started quite early (around 7am), which was a bit noisy when we were still sleeping. Also, there was a water tank right behind our bungalow that could sometimes be heard

The location was great, very calm, family friendly, great beach and close to the small city where you can find everything you need within the walking distance. The hotel was very clean and apartments had everything you need and more. Hotel staff was really exceptional, from sweet housekeeping ladies to the restaurant employees. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, made us feel comfortable from the first minute in the resort. The resort is small in the right way and beautiful. They are really taking care of everything here and was probably our top accommodation in Thailand.

Best place!! Definitely will come back!! We had amazing time there. Super comfortable with kids, the rooms are new, nice and clean, the beach is beautiful (one of the nicest beaches on the island) and the pool super fun. But the best thing in the experience is the stuff! They made us feel like they are our family , played with our kid just for their fun, and make us feel so comfortable. Even though we stayed in fancier places in the next of the trip, we agreed that was the best place by far!

Very nice hotel, cosy restaurant, beautiful and clean beach. Can rent a car or motorbike in a hotel.

Location is far away from the main town. Can’t see sunsets in this side of the island( hope this will be helpful to someone, because I didn’t check that). Location would not be a problem if the roads were not so much complicated in Koh Phangan, also no bolt just local taxi service that has to be orderer few hours before going somewhere.

Fabulous spacious room with direct beach access. The food at the restaurant on site was delicious. The staff especially the waiting staff were super friendly and helpful. Efficient cleaning staff. Reasonable price taxi back to the pier. The evening vibe is lovely, deffo worth a visit.

Not the hotels fault but there were lots of families with little kids who could be loud at times (mostly by the pool/beach). The pillows were soiled so staff replaced them right away. There needs to be shelves in the bathroom for toiletries. More sun-beds are needed on the beach.

Probably the best resort at the beach. Spacious air-conditioned rooms. Comfort beds. Well maintained, spotless, and clean. Super friendly staff. Amazing food with a lot of choices (Thai and western food). Daily supply of water bottles.

If I have to be picky, the water pressure in the shower could be better and in some of the days we faced some wifi problems which the management tried to fix

Right at the beach. The restaurant was good (except breakfast) and the dog was really cute.

Taxi prices are much higher when you book it at the hotel. In general are taxi prices crazy expensive. If you don’t ask them to make up the room, you don’t get your water. Bathroom was really old and we got geckos in the room. So many kids. It’s really loud at the pool - but it’s fine at the beach.

The staff were all very welcoming and friendly and very accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious and well maintained.

The opening hours of the swimming pool was a bit tricky, not opening until 10.00 was late, if like us we like to get a good swim in the pool in before breakfast.
