A beautiful quiet place in a cozy village far from the city. A calm beach where it is pleasant to swim and doing morning jogging. After reading some reviews, we were a little afraid to come here. But we decided to and we did not regret it. Yes, I agree that the rooms are quite tired. But as we found out, it wasn’t easy for many hotels here after covid. The bed linen was quite good and we did not find it as bad as it was in the previously reviews. When checking into the bungalow, the AC did not work and there were some downsides in the room. But the hotel staff resolved it, and the rooms were quite good. As for the people working there, most of them seemed good and friendly people. Some of them have been working in this place for quite a long time and try to keep this place in good condition. There were also a couple of children of hotel staff who were cheerful and interested in sports. On the hotel territory has very affectionate cats and a very noisy little dog)) The hotel is located quite far from the city, so be prepared to pay a little more for transfer. Also you can ask about transfer on reception. But in the village and on the beach nearby there are good places to eat and several shops and fruit stands (7/11 temporary was closed). Probably due to the fact that the hotel is remote on the island, especially in the evening and morning you can enjoy the sounds of nature and the beautiful sky (starlight hotel)). What could be improved: 1. Probably the biggest issue for us was that there was no information about the deposit on the booking. And we didn’t count on it in our budget. In fact, it's $100 deposit is required upon arrival. Please correct this information. 2. Wi-Fi was very weak (but they fixed that problem, so probably it's good now)

Super location for beach & fabulous pool. It is very quiet so not for partygoers, but we loved it. Hotel doesn't have a bar or restaurant, but that really doesn't matter as there are plenty of places to eat & drink close by. Would recommend Ram & Phas and Pat & Das on the main street (less than ten mins walk away), both very cheap with great food. Easy to get taxis & you can get longtail boats to Bottle Beach (we walked there - long & hot & hilly!) and got a boat back.

Not so keen on the balcony which wasn't very private & a bit odd having the loo roll outside the loo, but they are quibbles.

We were on Koh Phangan for nearly 2 months & we stayed at Starlight 3 times. I just had to keep coming back. I know & love that beach but had never stayed at Starlight. I loved it. The pool is amazing, with such a great view. The water is sparkling & it doesn’t smell of too much chlorine. I kept meaning to ask if it was a salt pool? But it’s definitely well looked after. There’s no restaurant, but lots of great ones nearby. I’d recommend Siam Beach to your right and Mama Rocca to your left (behind Dreamland). And Flip Flop bar just next door with their cold beer on tap, pizza and my favourite Burmese balls & Burmese salad & lovely staff. Starlight also has a shop which was really handy. They have some really interesting stock, I bought a few of their Chinese paper parasols. Also handy for a beer to have by the pool. Their taxi service is also excellent, they have a really good truck that makes the mountain road a breeze. The driver was super sweet & friendly. We stayed in a bungalow and the hotel block. The block is newer & the rooms are lovely. But you have more privacy on the balcony of the bungalows if that’s important to you. The cleaners were great too, so sweet & would nip in and clean at any time of the day. We will definitely be back to Starlight next time we’re on Koh Phangan.

I’d like all hotels to have a recycling bin for water bottles etc.

Great pool directly at the beach. The room is being cleaned everyday and everything is nice and clean - as advertised.

When we arrived there was nobody at the reception and we had to wait a few minutes for the lady working at the supermarket to call the receptionist. Communication with both of them was really difficult as their English was poor. Other than that we did not encounter any problems.

Great cozy place, helpful staff, a cool beach and a pool with a beautiful look. There are many beautiful species, bars, cafes around. 7/11 nearby, plus directly in the complex there is another store. The administrator is always ready to help. arising questions. The second time we rest here, everything is stable and good. Thanks to the owners and employees of the hotel!

Amazing staff. Nice to have a supermarket. Beutiful pool. Great location. Defently coming back again. and again. :)!!

Would be nice to have a better tv and some cocktails and snacks bar for the pool area..

We intended to stay 1-2 weeks and ended up staying 1.5 months. SUP and cafes closeby, amazibg view and pool, nothing to complain

No breakfast. Used hotel next door (no more comfortable, significantly more expensive, but had great restaurant which welcomed us). Great location.

Bit souless, but worth it for great value for money.

Nice balcony. Beautiful infinity pool with the best view. Clean everywhere. Right at the beach. Great restaurants nearby

My sheets were a bit torn and sewed together, looked a little bad. No sunbeds on the beach.
