Everything was exceptional and exceeded expectations. Amazing sea view. Huge, nicely decorated room with large comfy bed, window seats, large bathroom with big rain shower and luxury products. Had a delicious evening meal sat outside overlooking the sea. Cheekily asked for a cheeseboard later on after visiting family (not expecting to get one as we believe the restaurant had just closed) but they said they could make one up and bring it to our room. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Delicious food. Excellent choice of food. Cooked brilliantly. Breakfast had a good variety of choice.Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in our deluxe room on the second night.. Fabulous facilities. The window seat allowed usca panoramic views of Port Patrick. Watching the incoming storm was amazing.

The first night we didn't get a deluxe room with a sea view. The hotel wanted us to stay in a standard double and asked for £50:extra. The room's only window was accessed through the glass bathroom door. I felt I had slept in a cupboard. I discussed my views and again showed the description of the room booked.

Breakfast was excellent, the chef prepared all patrons specific requirements . There was an array of choices from the breakfast menu to suit individual tastes and dietary preferences plus a variety of cereals, juices, tea, coffee, jams, and lovely shortbread, that was absolutely delicious. We also booked dinner reservations for our two night stay and was not disappointed, the menu choices catered to all tastes, our food quality along with presentation was excellent, compliments to the chef on his scrumptious food.

We could have had a better room with a sea view, we had a standard room with a side sea view from the bathroom window. Next time we will definitely book a room with a sea front view, as the hotel location is situated in a prime position overlooking the Irish sea.

Location is great. Views from the room and outside hotel are fantastic. Very friendly staff.

Our room did not have a proper shower - Only bath with shower head (no screen and no stand - just a shower hose) so you could not stand up to take a shower - it was very uncomfortable but if you like baths it would work! Restaurant was ok - overrated and expensive. Food was ok but nothing special for the price. Walk along the harbour - some lovely restaurants there. Restaurant run out of bread on Friday night at 8 pm - seriously!? Overall it was ok and apart from location and the views - nothing special. We would not come back in a hurry.

Fabulous view of the sea from my room, my room was large and comfortable and nicely decorated. Hotel was in a lovely location, and well decorated, & the welcome drink of port was appreciated.

There was a hen-party in the reception that meant hotel guests had to eat in the bar, which I suspect wasn’t as nice as the restaurant.. I was parked behind the hotel at what seemed like it should be the last ‘row’ beside the road which should have been fine however when I went out the following morning at 5am (to get an early morning ferry), a large vehicle had parked between me & the road, & if it wasn’t for the fact that cars that had been parked at the other side of me had left after I parked, i would have been trapped in & missed my ferry. This would not necessarily have been the hotels fault, but I’m calling out that limited parking space in conjunction with potential inconsiderate parking by some could cause issues.

Super friendly staff - all really helpful, decent range of drinks at good prices, food really nice and great views. Nice and clean as well.

no window in the bedroom, just one in the bathroom to let in natural light and the bed wasn't the comfiest, but neither distracted from the stay, we weren't there to sit in the room. its a steep hill up from the port so not the best for anyone with mobility issues.

Liked the offer of sherry on arrival. Room had a great view. Had booked a room with view but didn’t get one at beginning so had to go down and alert reception but then luckily there was one available

Mirror was loose in bathroom wall. Towel hook also loose on bathroom door . Fridge wasn’t plugged in and had a bit of mildew on it. At evening meal we asked to move to the area with more atmosphere as we were put in a quiet area with hardly any other diners. It took a while for us to get another table .

We had a great time. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Lovely boutique vibes, and loved that there was a bar & restaurant on site. The room was stunning, so big & the views were incredible. If it had been a nice day we would have sat out the front. We spent most of the time there as it was so lovely.

Nothing in particular. However we didn’t check the room details when booking as there was only a bath and not a shower. Absolutely not a deal breaker but probably would have booked the room with a shower.

I loved the location of the hotel. The view from the Buchanan room was absolutely beautiful and the bed was comfortable. The bathrobes were a nice touch! The food & service at breakfast and dinner was excellent as well.

The details in the room could have used a little care. The table (which had no chairs) could be replaced with a luggage stand and the paper bath mats would have been much nicer had they been linen. A throw blanket and pillows for the couch would have added comfort and warmth.

Like the location, the room and ambiance of the hotel. Food was good and staff very friendly and helpful

No problem or issue for us, But There is a lovely bath in the bathroom, but thats also your shower facility for that room. Could be an issue for older people. But if thats an issue for somebody, asked a room with shower cabin.
