I liked everything: the apartment is spacious, spotless, with a fully equipped kitchen, you can even cook a decent meal, which is rare in places like this. The bed is really comfortable; I slept like a log. The place is quiet, safe, and has a great sea view. And the owner? A wonderfully polite gentleman, attentive and went out of his way to make my stay easier. In short: comfortable, practical, and with that vibe that makes you feel at home, even when you're away
Is there really anything to dislike? If I had to mention one thing, it would be not having more time to really enjoy and focus on this wonderful place. Other than that, nothing but praise. Everything was perfect! The weather was on our side, the apartment was spotless, and the owner was simply exemplary. Nothing but praise.

Unbeatable location in Stranraer, superb view to the harbour and walking distance to the town for its amenities. All rooms spacious and clean. Very well equipped - enough to move in. Lift to all the floors. Responsive host. Short drive up to the ferry in Cairnryan.
The free parking is actually just Stranraer's free parking. It is close, just across the road, but you'd get thoroughly soaked carrying your bags across if it were raining as it often is! The place is getting slightly tired and dated, some loose fixtures and fittings which were being attended to...including a check on the loose bath tap at 9pm. Sofa edges worn etc. Letters from 'Quay Head View' on one side of the building have either been stolen or fallen off. Despite being non-smoking there's a smell of stale smoke in the main entrance hall.

v well equipped, comfortable bed and seating, brilliant view, warm and cosy, easy check in, very convenient to walk into the town and the Tourist Info centre just opposite . Parking free and just across the road; we always have a lot of stuff with us so the Lift was great.
we made a mistake with the switch for the fridge as turned it off accidentally thinking it was a light switch. However although all the switches were labelled, it was difficult to read them without shining a torch on them. Having later read Guests' comments in the Book, we realised others had made the same mistake. Perhaps a notice on the fridge itself could warn other guests about this?

Location is perfect Place to park car Very quiet Clean .I have never stayed anywhere that is as well equipped as this apartment Washing machine with powder !! Microwave and air fryer which is a lovely addition Loads of towels Bottled water in fridge Colin is amazing He was at the end of the phone to provide us with local knowledge even rang ferry company for me !!! I would stay here again in a heart beat and I would recommend it to everyone

Apartments have everything you need down to washing up liquid/soap powder. All the little things have been thought of. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Will 100% use again. Rooms are clean and in a really good standard. Could of stayed longer.
Nothing I can think of, we had 2 apartments booked and have zero complaints, even gave us a fold down bed when I realised I had made a mistake when booking one of the rooms, I needed a twin room not a double. There is a pub across the road but it closed at 11pm but we really didn't hear much noise from it all and our living room window was very close to it.

The apartment was exceptionally furnished, and the level of detail of all facilities and amenities was super. Although we only stayed 1 night, I would happily have used the apartment for longer as a base to explore the area. Everything was neat, tidy, and clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the owner was also very good. I would definitely recommend and stay here again 😀
For our stay, I really couldn't fault anything - everything was more than we had expected. The only issue we had was that we couldn't see how to switch the towel rail off (not worth disturbing the owner), but if it had been the height of summer, it could have been too warm in the apartment.

We loved everything. The host is just lovely and really helpful, super quick at responding. The apartment is huge, so clean and has practically everything we have at home. The added little extras really made it perfect. The views were lush and the location perfect to have a nice walk along the sea front with small legs. The recommendations left out for us were a welcomed extra and really accurate. We would stay here again in a heart beat. The bed was so immensely comfortable and our 4 and 5 year old had the best sleep I've ever witnessed them having. All this for a really reasonable cost it's a winning recipe.

Great location with view over harbour and less than 10 minutes walk to the main bus stop at Port Rodie. Spotlessly clean, large and comfortable apartment. Great recliner sofas (so often holiday flats have nice looking but tiny and not very comfy couches, not this one!) Responsive host.
Some bits looking tired now - tap with plug lever in bathroom, clothes pully over bath and shelf in cupboard in living room all broken. Please can you invest in a standard flat turner, tongs and a bottle of oil for the kitchen?

The apartment was all clean, new and very big. The kitchen was very well-equipped and it had everything we needed for one night. The location was great, right in front of the marina, walking distance from the town centre and Tesco, and very close to Agnew park. Check-in and check-out very well-organised and smooth even without the staff. Our dog was very welcome (but charged a dog fee, of course).

Colin met us at the door after a quick phone call (we made a very last minute booking so there was understandably no one at reception) to show us the apartment and give us the keys. Colin was super friendly and approachable, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome! The apartment was very clean and cozy, and there was clearly a lot of love put into it - little personal touches like a guest book and a guide to local attractions and restaurants made it special. The apartment had an excellent location, looking out over the water, and close to the main areas of Stranraer. The washing machine and clotheslines in the apartment were also a very valuable and much appreciated feature!
Shower was a little noisy, which was only an issue cause I chose to have my shower late at night and felt guilty for the other guests!
