Food was excellent. Staff very friendly. Overall good value for money.

Room was clean but a bit dated. Toilet was uniquely situated in what looked like a wardrobe.

The staff were amazing, it was no bother for any thing we needed. The room was lovely, the breakfast was the best I've had in years...we gave 2 less stars due to fresh towels, bedding, tea, coffee, milk or clean cups not being provided unless asked for. The sink in the bathroom was too small to wash anything in...I.e. the cups... the shower overflowed which was quickly fixed, and the heating was off in the storm when we got in with wet clothes and only had wet towels in the room but it was all quickly corrected once asked. Oh and the hairdryer didnt work. They had a lot on with the storm and I heard they have new owners too. So all in all, lovely hotel, lovely people and the breakfast was amazing...just a few teething problems they seemed to be having...I would stay again though if I find it on offer again. It was nice to see the owner mucking in too 👍

Just the few things that I mentioned but everything was rectified straight away with no bother.

The location was excellent to enjoy the setting sun. Also ideally placed to explore the surrounding areas. Breakfast was very good and set us up for the day. The staff were helpful, friendly and very welcoming. No problems parking

The evening menu was a bit limited but apart from that we were more than satisfied with our stay.

,Arrived early because of weather ,sat had hot chocolate till room was ready ,staff are welcoming and friendly ,booked the small double which I would say has been renovated an upgraded few little things but nothing to complain about ,room was super warm like the rest of the building ,bathroom bit small but manageable again been renovated ,lovely hot shower this morning, sat in for a meal ordered Balmoral chicken mash with veg an peppercorn sauce,well worth the cost ,man size portion ,tasty complements to the chef ,you guys have to update pictures as I was looking for blue building instead of grey lol ,will definitely be back

we thought the food was great and the views over the bay were lovely. we especially liked the massive onion rings, haggis and goats cheese pizza. the hotel was nice and quiet and you could relax when the weather was poor and you wanted to stay in your room.

The Tv reception wasnt great but it wasnt a major issue when you were out and about but if the weather was poor so was the reception. that is not a complaint as we didnt come on a relaxing break to watch tv, but it could be addressed. The room needed an information pack for things like fire exits, meal times and wifi connections.

Although the room wasn't perfect we had a really lovely stay. The staff are lovely, so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is amazing, tasty lots of choice and great quality. The location is stunning, Port Patrick is a beautiful place. You get great value for money. I would highly recommend a stay at the Waterfront Hotel.

The room was very warm, we think it had underfloor heating which we couldn't control and remained on all night. There was a heavy picture with a mirrored frame just perched on the radiator, not sure if it was supposed to be there or if putting it on the wall got over looked. The fire alarm had no cover. The bathroom is very small, the sink is really difficult to use without getting water all over due the the placement of the shelving above.

the hotel was very clean and was cleaned regually smelt fresh and clean we had fried breakfast which was of a good standard with fruitjuice and coffee would of been nice to have some fresh fruit to choose from we stayed in room 7 which has a window and had been newly refurbished new shower area which was nice and white no marks in sight /new carpet and decore in room and bedsheets where clean and new clean matress and tv with tea and coffee facilities we asked for more coffee and milk daily which the staff didnt mind doing they where polite and helpful we didnt have a hairdrier in the room which was stated that it had when we booked and no ironing equipment and nothing in the room to say ask at reception for if they did have? hotel nice and pieaceful and quiet at night also

Location was excellent. We had a sea view -our room had a lovely small bay window seat looking right onto the sea. Room had everything we needed. All the staff were very attentive, nothing a bother and happy to help. We would like to say a big thank you to Jade, Rachel and Tanya who are wonderful staff members. Port Patrick is a beautiful part of Scotland, lovely community spirit as this was our first time visiting there. Weather was excellent which always helps. Food in the hotel was delicious-we were DBB, no complaints, good choice and good portions
