Right from the check in the staff were really exceptional and professional. Rooms were cosy and the main attraction is the balcony facing towards the vembanad lake . i mean in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea it its superb. we had booked with breakfast and the breakfast buffet was really nice and in the evening we can go for a individual boat ride which will be at an extra cost and that was also worth thing. so all together the stay was exceptional and we all enjoyed really well...

I really liked the hotel, our stay was for 2 nights, the room was quite spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the toiletries in the bathroom were of good quality, we ordered room service, the food was not bad, but it was not super hot, the breakfast was delicious, they make good strong masala tea and coffee and a more continental breakfast, that is, foreigners can also enjoy it.

One small issue is that we had a room on the fourth floor, birds were always sitting on the balcony and leaving marks, so we didn't use the balcony.

Staying at Uday Backwater Resort was overall a very relaxing experience. We loved the aesthetics and how well maintained all the common areas were, with special guests (various species of birds). The views of the backwaters from the gardens gave the hotel a spectacular atmosphere, and the pool area was very enjoyable. The staff was always willing to help us and treated us with great kindness. The restaurant inside the hotel had a great variety of local dishes and the taste was very good. The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We loved the surroundings, but the hotel was very far from the airport, and getting there was a long cab ride. However, we think that the renovations of Cochin roads (ongoing when we visited) will make the hotel more accessible in the future. Although the spa staff treated us very well and we enjoyed the treatments we received, it is true that the ambiance could be improved a bit. It would also be great to have sun loungers in the pool area.

We stayed in Uday Backwater Resort for 4 nights during our Alleppey trip. This resort is really amazing and well connected. We can see the backwater from your balcony. They have enough staff with friendly behaviour and quick response time. The breakfast buffet always has a wide array of authentic Kerala cuisine. This resort is very well known in Alleppey. The swimming pool is big. They provide kayaking. Breakfast is amazing. Rooms are clean and very well maintained.

The place was very calm, quiet and peaceful. All the staff members were smiling and approachable. Lovely atmosphere all around. Special mention to Manu at the restaurant. He was very helpful.

Pool could have mainatained properly as we found some insects and dryleaves.

Room was luxury, we walked in and it had that wow factor. The pool was great however not much going on, don’t think there was a bar. Setting next to the lake is amazing, and afternoon complimentary coffee/tea next to the pool was a nice touch. Great location to do a tour of the backwater with 1h 3h or daily trips that leave from the pier in the hotel. Breakfast is ok

Genuinely an exceptional resort. The hospitality staff really made our stay incredible, they were attentive but not overbearing, but super friendly and kind. Property is also incredible, great quiet pool, room was extremely clean, had a great massage at the spa, we couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Whole resort, rooms and pool, are beautiful.

Cost 700 rupee to get a taxi from the train station to the resort. Asked hotel to arrange a taxi from the resort to the train station. Cost 1200 rupee. Taxi driver said the hotel added cost. Not sure if that was true but either way, ended our experience with hotel badly. If it wasn't true, then the hotel should be more careful about picking drivers. If it was true, then that was a very expensive phone call the hotel made.

It was an Amazing stay, only there is nothing to do in the neighbourhood so you need a Tuktuk for everything The staff is very very friendly and the rooms are super clean Internet works very Well

Only négative was that pur room Floor Felt always wet

Big family resort, big & spacious rooms, polite staff, connected to the lake. All types of Kerala boats available from the resort itself.

Approach road for about 500 metres in length is very narrow.
