We spent our first week on Samui staying here, and it was a perfect start to our vacation: • The location is beautiful—the sunsets are gorgeous, and the beach is enjoyable to walk on, but don’t expect to swim here since it is very shallow. The view from each villa is a treat and never gets old. • A few restaurants around the hotel are reachable by foot and offer a wide range of lunch and dinner options. • 7-Eleven is not close (unless you go by bike), but a few local shops are in the area. • The staff is super nice and helps you with anything you might need. We had our villa changed as soon as we noticed the AC was acting up. They also delivered the bike we wanted in 15 minutes, and the renting process was super quick and easy. • The breakfast offers both Thai and Western options. The food is fresh and nice, with enough options to pick from each day. The cafeteria is located right at the beach, so you eat with an awesome view too. • The villa is not big but comfy and provides enough space for everything we needed. The facilities are nothing fancy but in good condition, and we were fully satisfied. Most of the time, we had no neighbors, so it was pretty private as well. We loved the overall vibe of the place. • The small but private pool is a game changer for sure. We would wait out the max UV hours just chilling in it. There's also a hotel pool next to the cafeteria. We absolutely loved the place and will definitely go back when we visit Samui again.

None. Just keep in mind that you want to have a bike to get around and reach 7-Eleven, for instance. However, I'd suggest renting a bike wherever you're staying on Samui. It makes life much easier and more fun, and it allows you to explore places on your own terms.

We had an incredible stay at The Humble Villas in Koh Samui. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed — their hospitality truly made our experience special. The atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing, perfect for unwinding and escaping the rush of everyday life. The facilities were fantastic as well — everything was well-maintained, modern, and designed with comfort in mind. Whether we were lounging by the pool or simply enjoying the serene surroundings, every part of our stay felt effortless and rejuvenating. Overall, The Humble Villas was the perfect choice for a relaxing getaway, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Koh Samui!

The accommodation was wonderful! The room is really large and clean, and the private pool is simply amazing with a beautiful view of the long beach where you can watch a perfect sunset. The staff was very nice and cleaned our room every day. The option of breakfast is a big advantage. The place was very quiet; we really like this type of accommodation because it's not a big and noisy resort, but a place where you can find peace and privacy. Moreover, everything is very well-maintained and stylish. Overall, we felt very good here and would definitely return!

The accommodation is a bit away from all the interesting places on the island, and there's also a significant low tide on this part of the island. However, if you have a scooter, it's not a big problem and you can get everywhere.

We had a great stay in The Humble Villas. The name is very accurate: a place with no big pretensions, but a big heart. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming (Mr T, his sister and the rest of team are so very friendly and helpful, always at our service and with a huge smile and heart) and the villas themselves are very comfortable and were perfect for our honeymoon. Excellent breakfast, many Thai and international options and served on the table by kind Mr T. Air con is flawless. Great views of the sunset when there is one. A place to stay forever in our memory!

Perhaps the sound insulation could be improved (we heard other guests sometimes)

We had amazing holidays! The whole staff were so friendly and helpful! Never had a breakfast like this! We could choose from different meals every day. Every meal was fresh and made with love! The staff is great! Especially T was amazing! He treat us like family members. The apartement is huge and we had enough space for all our stuff. The bed was so comfortable, never slept so good in holidays! The whole apartement was very clean. Everyday we got fresh water, softdrinks and snacks for free! Thank you for everything!

Some more comfortable seats next to the pool (appartement) would be appreciated!

This place is amazing! To start with, it is small, just 12 rooms, so it feels cozy and intimate. Good size room, huge bathroom, all spotlessly clean, enough space to put away your clothes and other stuff, coffee, tea and free snacks in the room, a private terrace with a plunge pool, if you can't be bothered to walk a few steps down to the main pool. Breakfast was one of the best we've ever had, with good coffee, many choices from the menu, and lots of fresh fruit. The staff were all lovely, we felt really cared for during our stay of 5 nights.

The beach is not good for swimming, as the tides are very pronounced in this part of the island, and when we were staying (early June), the sea was far out during the day. This wasn't a problem for us at all, it's just a heads up for people who love to swim in the sea (we were perfectly happy with the hotel's lovely pool).

The location was perfect, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was delicious The room was a decent size with a very comfortable bed and perfect private plunge pool to dip in whenever you wanted

My only complaint was that the roof on the apartment in front of us had a plastic covering which spoiled the view as it looked cheap, we booked the villa with a view and they should have advised us at the time the thatched roof in front was being repaired and would be covered in plastic sheeting! The wifi was also not strong enough at all, but otherwise we had a lovely stay and would definitely go back to The Humble Villas

Great rooms with a plunge pool. Very relaxed and private villas. Staff super friendly. Rooms are adequate, with free plentiful mini bar ( apart from alcohol at small fee) Some lovely little touches, including toiletries, sun hat, flip flops, beach bag etc.. Breakfast was good with plenty of options and possibility to order more if wanted. We were full every morning. The Villas are based on a main road, but once you walk into the small resort we didn't hear the road again. The beach is vast and beautiful in the sun and at high tide. We loved the quietness, and the nature. There are a couple of great restaurants within walking distance.

We were worried about alot of mosquitos in this area, but the hotel provide spray and a mosquito net. It wasn't that bad at all although picked up a few bites . We really enjoyed our stay and this wouldn't put us off coming again for a short 2 night break.

The personal plunge pool was a absolute game changer, perfect for a quick dip to cool off after getting home from dinner. All staff and services were spot on. Breakfast was brilliant. Super close to bike rental place which was also a great restaurant and bar…definitely recommend Ran Rao for both. 100% worth hiring a bike and exploring the rest of the island. Found some unbelievable spots that we would have missed if just staying.

Where we had breakfast didn’t seem to be open during the rest of the bar, the location is so perfect would have been nice if the bar was available whilst using their main pool. But not essential! As other places very close by.

The highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff! Everyone was so helpful and friendly, the two people working in the restaurant made our stay extra special. This was our first trip to Thailand and they helped us learn little bits about Thai culture, including phrases, but mostly about the delicious food. The waiter was so helpful and nice to chat to, and the chef was so thoughtful in providing little extras to our dishes. There is a good mix of western and Thai options on the menu, but I would 100% recommend the Thai options as they were delicious and authentic. As well as this, the people at the front desk were also lovely and helped us arrange taxis and organised takeaway breakfasts when we had to leave early. The room is also great, it has everything you need, and a great private pool to relax in. The area is good, there are a few restaurants within walking distance and the beach is lovely at sunset.
