Property is situated in a fantastic place. Very clean and comfortable.

1)Food was very poor, breakfasts as well as all other options in menu. To have good breakfast, lunch or dinner you should go to La Fortuna 2) do not use laundry service, you will receive your clothes almost in the same condition 3) staff in the restrairant was awful. One day they told us that it is not possible to add butter for breakfast (but during two previous days it wasn’t problem). Also they brought burnt pancakes for the breakfast.. 4) they couldn’t find horse excursion for us, but I did it by myself without any problems

The property was very modern and quite unique. The interiors of the domes were clean and exceptional.

Our only comments were that staffing seem to be low, as the tent exterior obviously had not been cleaned or swept or raked prior to our arrival. There were only three domes rented, and it didn't appear any extra effort was made to prepare the tent sites prior to our arrival. Also, the hot tub in the spa was not available, so we had to wait for it to be filled, and it never got warm. I believe we heard that the spa was broken so that was a disappointment. Very nice facility, unique lodging, maybe a little more attention to detail prior to the renters arriving.

We wanted a family-friendly glamping experience and this place DELIVERED! For those who want to feel immersed in nature while still being pampered and going to bed clean, this is the perfect hotel. From the moment we arrived to the imposing gates, we were impressed. The domes are some kind of magic - how they're impermeable to bugs and dirt is anybody's guess, but they stayed immaculate throughout our stay. The same can be said of the beautiful outdoor bathroom; for an open-air space, it stayed very clean. Housekeeping arranged a time for cleaning on the day of our arrival and we returned after a tour to a freshly-tidied space. Staff was over-the-top kind and responsive, going the extra mile without ever being asked. Everyone was so nice to our young daughters and they constantly suggested options to make our stay more comfortable. We'd read complaints about the restaurant service being slow, but the resort has clearly addressed this. When they heard we had a morning tour planned, they independently asked if we'd like to pre-order breakfast to be ready the following day so we could leave early. We didn't even realize this was an option and it was absolutely perfect for our schedule (also, the breakfast was delicious!) On multiple occasions the front desk reserved the jacuzzi for our family. They were also very helpful in getting our bags to our room. We'd so highly recommend this hotel to anyone, from honeymooners to families with young kids!

The domes have no ability to block out light once the sun comes out, as there's a built-in skylight/uncovered portal window. The nature of a trip to Costa Rica is an early wake-up call, so it's not a huge problem - just something to note if you require a dark space. We also agreed with some reviewers who noted the dogs next door; they are noisy at very early hours.

We loved our night at the property. We only wish we were there for longer. The glamping pods are spacious and the AC was a pleasant surprise. The views are amazing and it was really amazing waking with the jungle. The pool had an awesome view of the jungle and the drinks at the bar was great. You will definitely need a 4x4 to get there if driving yourself, but its worth it!

The menu at the restaurant felt a bit overpriced for what it was but the food was nice and the breakfast was excellent. Be aware that all pods are down a big hill away from the car park so I would pack light for your stay there so your not dragging a lot of luggage!

Comfy beds, incredible outdoor shower and ammenities. Immersive rainforest experience. Sufficient gym equipment. Friendly and helpful staff.

The rain can be loud on the roof of the tent at night when trying to sleep. The Jacuzzi was not operational during our stay. Espresso coffee machine was available but not offered in the breakfast menu.

Simply fantastic. Wonderful staff, very helpful and accommodating. Each pod has its own jacuzzi, super secluded, you cannot hear/see your neighbors. Outside showers are perfectly maintained and the toilet seat is even heated!!! Little trails across the campground with lots of birds. Restaurant on site is delicious and the swimming pool is gorgeous. Very little bugs around, which is nice.

I was extremely fortunate to picked such a beautiful Hotel Palo Alto Glamping. It was the perfect choice to celebrate my Birthday, an important milestone in my life and most grateful for Chef BRYAN to make my birthday dinner so special. I need to mention these individuals Georgiana and Anthony who make all the tours coordination and provided excellent service.. I will cherish my 3 days adventure forever and I would definitively comeback again. Thank you Palo Alto 100% recommended.

Not in a touristy area. Pods were cool and very well appointed. Clean and very comfortable. Showering outside was a very cool experience. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was lovely and accommodating.

They didn’t have some of the amenities when we were there like yoga or a spa treatment my wife asked for but it didn’t affect our stay.

This was a special place. It was farther away from Arenal than I expected, which at first was disapointing; however, there are beautiful hikes are areas all around here that are stunning and almost empty. Excellent, comfortable facility with good food and wonderful staff.

Everything was terrific.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The room is big and comfortable.

The property is far away from La fortuna about an hour and a half drive. It’s not worth making the daily drive specially on rainy season. I’d recommend 1-2 night max.
