I loved thatThis property was tucked at the bottom of the rainforest. I felt as if we got the best slice of Costa Rica at our location. It was not touristy. It was quiet with the sound of howler monkeys in the morning. While there is no air conditioning, which I was concerned, there absolutely was no need for one. If there was anything we needed, we would ask via WhatsApp and it was brought to our location within minutes. The restaurant on site was the best food we had in Costa Rica at dinner. The hot springs were clean and very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly. I look forward to going back! If you want authenticity this is the place for you.

There was nothing we did not like. We would have been better suited Had we known better Spanish. But that's OK, they made sure we understood if there was any kind of language barrier. Another thing I did not like was that we had to leave!

Beautiful location really within a forest and close to the Toro river. The lodges are essential and this may be fine but perhaps they could be maintained better. Simple tools could be very useful to organize things in the room eviting chaos. The breakfast is essential. The restaurant is not very good. Personnel is kind but they are not well prepared they are slow very slow. The restaurant is an option for a dinner if you are tired and you like avoiding the use of the car once more in the hard road in the night. This at least our experience.

Restaurant to be improved as far as food richness and operation speed. In the lodges very simple things: a chair inside, some wall pin or tools to hang things, better bed sheet suits

The friendly and welcoming staff was superb. It does not seem to be much of an international tourist destination as almost everyone of the guests was tico. The thermal pools were the right thing to do after a day of hiking to the waterfalls around the corner from here. We slept under a blanket of sounds from the river, the rain hitting the roof and the wildlife and woke up with some coffee on the porch (we brought the powder with us). If we had stayed longer, we would have used one of the BBQ places at the river side to cook our own meals.

There is nothing that we disliked - maybe a sharp edge in the shower where I cut my hand.

Really friendly staff helped us getting around the hotel. We got a nice cabin, quite simple inside but it had everything we needed. The hotel is in a very nice area, surrounded by the forest. It has a viewing platform, a short hiking path, and swimming pools with thermal waters. The restaurant is nice to chill. They prepared us some take-away breakfast as well, since we had to leave early that day. Overall really happy with it!

Our only complaint was that the water in the shower was cold.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was really good and well priced. The location and mineral pools were incredible.

There was a kitchenette in our cabin with a fridge, hot plate and coffee machine but the only dishes provided were glasses and coffee mugs. The kitchen needs to be properly equipped.

The resort is simple but with lovely staff and the chance to use the hotsprings and swimmingpool. A lot of wildlife like howling monkeys and many birds. The staff were super friendly and nice!

The Food was not our favourite. Also we stayed during eastern and it was super busy in the swimmingpool and hotsprings.

A very special place. I love it and hope I will return one day. Everyone was exceptional and the location is pure heaven. The pools are awesome as well and of you wake up early you get the chance to have them all for yourself. The morning alarm are the howler monkeys.

Beautiful nature reserve, lovely river and hotsprings, very calm during the week, nice little cabin!

The only minor thing I could remark is that the bed want the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on, but overall that really wasn’t an issue

Perfect spot to relax and being in the beautiful jungle. Very authentic national place, no typical touristic area. Everybody extremely nice and helpful. Natural pools very nice and you can use them the total night if you like. In the morning no other (day tour) guests were there and we had every pool for us. Can make BBQ there. Massage one of the best I did in my life. Overall good prices. Ziplinetour directly there in the jungle around the hotel posible and a must-do-recommendation. We only reserved one night and were then so sad to leave that we came back for the end of our holidays to enjoy our last night also there. 100% recommendation if you do not need many luxury.

Houses very simple (for us perfect but important perhaps for others to know) so do not expect too much luxury. Missing cutlery in the kitchen. Hot water in the bathroom (second stay) was not so warm liked we wished it to be.

LOVED EVERYTHING!!! The room was large and kind of rustic in a camp sort of way but charming and had great chairs to sit and watch the jungle. Andrew the chef is clearly Michelin - bound made excellent meals and the massage was heavenly and in a superb setting! Hot mineral spring pools were also GREAT!
