The location is great. Nearby, there is a farm with many animals that you can pet and see. We booked a simple house with a fireplace. When we arrived, it was ready for us to light a fire and prepare marshmallows. The restaurant is excellent—we loved the food and the service. Parking is conveniently located right near the house. We had to depart early, and the restaurant kindly prepared a great breakfast for us. We simply handed the keys to the owner and left.

The shower wasn't as warm as we got used to. We waited for a few minutes, but it was still just slightly warm. This is fine if the weather is hot, but in our case, it was a rather chilly night (16°C). We found a scorpion near the fireplace. On one hand, it was really cool to see one, but on the other, it was quite scary.

Breakfast was great, nice restaurant, friendly servers. The property was a quaint, little farm with several cabins, very affordable and enjoyable. A fun place especially if you have kids or are looking to add a visit to a little farm to your itinerary. We chose it for its proximity to Poas and that worked out well for us.

We arrived at night and the cabins, being cabins were relatively dimly lit which generally makes things look more earthy and less modern. Not really a criticism, just a sensibility. It was much cooler in the mountains than the beach from which we had arrived. It is also very windy up there, and coincidentally back in the US they were getting winter storms, so overnight we could hear the wind and had the misconception that it was really cold outside. When we came out in the morning with the rooster crowing it was actually quite pleasant outside. It is funny what psychology can do to you. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The location was handy for the airport with free parking for our hire car. The breakfast was good with fresh fruit followed by a hot option and coffee and fruit juice.

When we booked the property we asked if they had a restaurant. We explained that we would need something to eat following our 16hr flight. We were assured that this was the case. Unfortunately on arrival, as we were the only guests, the restaurant wasn't open so we were unable to eat until the following day.

The property is amazing! Such a beautiful farm with the cutest lodges! We loved our stay here and the restaurant had great food!

We had an early tour meaning we would miss the 7am breakfast. To accommodate the staff said we could arrive at 6:50 to get an early breakfast and that he would inform the staff to prepare everything 10 minutes earlier for us. On the day, this message was clearly not relayed as the breakfast was not ready until 7:05 and nearly made us late for our tour. A 7:05 start is normally fine and we were happy to skip the 7am breakfast, but it added stress to our trip because the receptionist did not carry out a promise he made us. Again this would have not been a problem if the receptionist didn’t make this promise.

Trully an amazing service from the lady at the reception office, helpful and comprehensive. We tried the chalet and the glamping and both were very cool and different experiences. The food at the restaurant was so good, honestly we were impressed by the quality of the food proposed. The service was also excellent from the staff at the restaurant. They have a very nice site, not far from Poas volcano and the area is pretty nice to visit too. 100% recommended.

The cabin was spacious and although we didn’t light it the wood fire seemed a nice idea. There is an on site restaurant where we had a good evening meal and a very good breakfast. The grounds are spacious with normals

There was a kettle and a fridge in the cabin but no other equipment or plates or utensils so self catering was not an option. The bathroom facilities in the cabin were compact and the electric shower produced a gentle and a modest flow of hot water

Gorgeous grounds - the cabin we stayed in was incredible - spacious and private with a fireplace and small back deck. The property was so fun to walk around with its beautiful views and all sorts of animals and fun things to do. The restaurant has a really chic romantic outdoor space that we spent a couple of hours just sitting having coffee in.

Give the shower a few minutes to warm up!

Hotel is conveniently located near Poas Volcano and Doka coffee farm. There is a great restaurant onsite as well as plenty of nearby sodas and restaurants. Glamping cabin was clean and very comfortable with a beautiful view and a sense of privacy. The grounds are well kept and we loved visiting the farm animals. Staff were all warm, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good!

Nice wooden cabin on farm style lodge, excellent for stay with kids. Fireplace ready to light with enough spare wood asside. Good food and very nice breakfast. Playground for smaller kids. Unfortunately we had no time to test spa

One mattress too soft at certain places, other pretty stiff. Yet nothing dramatic, might be good to check the conditions of them

Beautiful locatlion and wonderful breakfast. We loved the firewood in the room and used it to warm up the room in the evening.

It was very difficult to read the prices on the dinner menu. Black writing on dark green paper. We also couldn't tell if it was in colones or dollars. We didn't order very much because we couldn't calculate the cost.
