FRB was amazing! The accommodations were beautiful, and the property was absolutely gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the restaurant was delicious. I had snook for the first time (Tiger's Fish entree) and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. We enjoyed the coffee tour--Carlos was an excellent guide. We wanted to add an extra night and the host went out of his way to make sure we could stay in the same rooms that we had.

I don't have anything negative to say about FRB. I think they could benefit from adding some branded T-shirts to their store, the items they do have are great though.

We absolutely loved the food at this hotel! The food was so fresh and grown on site, with really unique flavour combinations! The hotel itself is super cool, a bit different with incredible views over San Jose! The team were also amazing, great service, so attentive and really friendly! Also since it was our honeymoon they offered us a lovely pudding with dinner and decorated our room which was cute

It was the last night of our honeymoon and we wanted to end with something special. Firstly the coffee tour is USD 50 per person which is expensive for guests who have paid a lot to stay! Secondly we asked to book a massage and yoga class via their spa services the night before and unfortunately they were fully booked which was disappointing.

The tranquillity is second to none. The coffee is amazing, and the accommodation was great, clean, and comfortable. The staff are very polite and helpful. If only the Finca rosa blanca was closer to the UK, we would be spending regular holidays there. We will definitely be recommending the Finca rosa blanca to our family and friends if they are thinking of visiting Costa rica.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

The decor of this hotel is very unusual, with lots of hand painted murals and sculpted white concrete reminiscent of Cesar Manrique's house in Lanzarote. Our room was not large but had a large bath, separate shower and private outside space with a hot tub which was unexpected. The restaurant had beautiful views and the food was very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The tour of the coffee plantation was excellent and we learnt so much, not just about how coffee is grown but how to choose and prepare coffee. We stayed for two nights before flying home to the UK as we had a long drive from Nosara, however, one night would probably have worked out better as the location is great for a stress free journey to San Jose airport but there is little else to do close by unless you want to venture into central San Jose.

The downside of our private hot tub was the noise at night from the pump which was close to our room so we ended up asking for it to be turned off, which it was instantly.

Like a fairy tale world, very beautiful artistic design. Jacuzzi was so nice to relax at night, to the calming sounds of insects chirping. In the morning, woke up to beautiful twittering of birds. Coffee tour was great but maybe could be made more interactive (e.g. introducing the process of making coffee?) this was our first stop at Costa Rica - so unique and welcoming.

Amazing coffee tour and tasting experience. We spent our first day in Costa Rica here and it was a great introduction. They were very accommodating to our early check in. Nice pool area. Delicious breakfast and as a bonus you could wander on the grounds and see where the ingredients came from! Real farm to table!

This place was amazing. The workers were very friendly and attentive, and the resort itself is beautiful. They also do an amazing job with the landscaping, so you feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle. The food was great and we loved the coffee hour and banana bread! We also did the coffee farm tour, which was amazing! The tour guide was so knowledgeable and talked a lot about their sustainable farming practices.

This property was exceptional, the restaurant was amazing and catered really well for me as a vegetarian, the breakfast was superb. The Dinner menu was very good. we chose to do the coffee tour in the morning and it was fantastic, the guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the subject and we are laughing with our family that we are now experts. I would definitely recommend. The pool was beautiful and we managed an afternoon of relaxing before we head off on our tour. I would absolutely recommend a couple of nights after a long flight to set you up for a trip.

I cannot think of anything that we didn’t like.

The room was absolutely gorgeous, the view amazing. The gardens were lovely and the restaurant was pretty spectacular. I can’t say enough about the friendly and accommodating staff, all of the staff! We went on a coffee tour which I would highly recommend, it has changed our coffee habits. It is a little more pricey than we normally go for but once I saw this place it rather intrigued me and I splurged. I was not at all disappointed so if you are worried about the cost it is well worth it!

A totally stunning place to stay - very special indeed. we were only there for a short period, we arrived at lunchtime just before the coffee tour and the restaurant managed to feed us in record time, which was really impressive (and great food too!). I would fully recommend the coffee tour, a really interesting couple of hours and we all learnt a lot. we spent the afternoon enjoying the pool and hot tub, and had another lovely meal. Rooms were incredible! The manager was very helpful and accommodating, and they provided us with breakfast boxes without us needing to ask, as we had an early start the next day.

hard to fault although we weren’t there very long. Pool wasn’t very clean, but hot tub was fantastic and the views were super.
