We had a pleasant stay at this B&B, which offers simple but very charming rooms with great value for money. The property is located in a lovely area, with a beautiful garden and pool that make the atmosphere even more relaxing. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of fresh and tasty options to suit all tastes. The staff was fantastic, always available, friendly, and ready to meet all our needs. The family-run management adds a special touch, making us feel right at home. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a simple yet cozy accommodation, in a perfect location to explore the area.

Our host Ronaldo, is an extremely nice man. The daily breakfasts prepared by Ronaldo's wife and service provided were top notch. Ronaldo was able to accommodate a room with a fridge as my wife is traveling with meds. The flowers and trees and birds and squirrels kept my wife busy for hours taking daily pictures. We walked the neighborhood many times whether for going to the local market or sightseeing. The washer and dryer were practically new and worked wonderfully. Ronaldo was even available for sporadic rides to town and an amazing restaurant on our first night. I would recommend this facility to all. Regards, Jeff and Julie

My recent stay at this B&B exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The host was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond and even offered a free upgrade as there was an opening for a larger unit. The room was spotless,no frills, and quite comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, delicious, and clearly made with love. The location was peaceful (and safe) such that we even slept with the slider open at night.

Thick towels! The first we have found in 2 weeks in Costa Rica. Beautiful grounds, Sun deck is partly shaded, elevated, and great for watching birds Great traditional CR breakfast includes a plate of fresh tropical fruit.

Underpowered hot shower, although better than some we've experienced. Bedroom curtains left gaps in coverage of the large window looking onto a grassy rear yard. This yard appears private but we saw someone walk through.

We came from Monte Verde but we didn't want to spend our last night in a city so this was a perfect stop since SJO airport was only 40 mins away. It was quiet and lovely. Breakfast was good as well. The staff was also very helpful and accommodating.

Wifi was not stable. Also the walls were a bit thin as we could hear the very loud guests in the next room, or maybe the walls weren't thin at all just that the guest were loud.

At first, the accommodations were not what we were used to, but Leo and Rosa were superb hosts! They were very knowledgable about the environment and surrounding community. Everywhere we went our guides would speak so highly of them. We found poisonous frogs on our night tour and many native birds in the morning including three different types of toucans! They made excellent recommendations about tours. The breakfast was amazing! The best of our stay in. Costa Rica! Overall, we had a fantastic stay.

We did not realize that housekeeping was not included, but you could ask for it.

Away from the hustle and bustle of Alajuela in a country setting. Parking and a restaurant on site. Restaurant was decent and reasonably priced. Owner was friendly and helpful. Room was pretty large and the bed was softer than the norm in Costa Rica. All in all a good place for us to spend an extra night while waiting for our luggage to arrive.

Not much. Pool is small and more of a plunge pool, water cool and could stand some TLC. Some planes fly over as they make the swing north but not too bothersome. Of note this place is not close to the airport.40ish minutes

Beautiful setting, alongside a sugar cane field. Owner was friendly and attentive. Our studio was spacious and clean. Has laundry facilities on site and a nice restaurant the owner recommended a few minutes drive up the road.

A bit of a drive from downtown Grecia, which is a plus or minus, I guess. No A/C. But floor fan was enough for us.

It has been great to meet Ronaldo and his wife. They run this B$B efficiently and are very attentive to help you in any way they can.

What I “didn’t “ like is how inconvenient it is not to have paper plates, cups, forks…around. We Americans can learn to be less wasteful here.
