Spotless. Ideal spot for hot tubs and clay cliffs

A message that said $50 would be charged if you didn’t wash dishes. I think motels should wash dishes so that they are done properly. Some travellers will just rinse

This motel punches above its weight with newly renovated rooms and several helpful extras that exceed expectations. We stayed in the disabled access room which seemed compliant with all the requirements of less able bodied travellers (we didn't need these modifications). Big fridge, room under the sink to wash up if you use a wheelchair, big bathroom with fold up bench, dishwasher(!), new tv, coffee plunger - all these made our stay extra pleasant. The guest laundry and washing line were neatly presented and there were pegs.

I loved how comfortable the apartment we got was! The kitchen, bathroom, living area as well as two bedrooms were very comfortable and clean! When we first got there, the staff was so nice and welcoming! Even offered us a small milk, which I thought was cool! Was in a nice area outside of Lake Tekapo, not a long drive at all! Worth it in my opinion! So happy I came across this place last minute when needing a place in the area, would absolutely return if I get the chance to come back!

The Superior Studio was amazing! Very modern room, with large kitchen, bathroom and living area. Very accessible parking and the staff at Reception were lovely. We couldn't hear any road noise, and the curtains were black out. Enjoyed watching the TV in bed, and the shower was great. A plus that there was a fishing shop on-site too! Would definitely recommend paying an extra $10 for this room, we had no complaints. The hotel is just across the road from the Omarama Hot Tubs, so we didn't have to drive.

Friendly staff and the units were easily accessible with a nice layout. The spaces inside were on the slightly too small side, but that didn't bother us too much. The location is great. We walked to the local attractions and cafes.

Shower (very low pressure) Also, the note about doing your own dishes or face a penalty fee of $50 - I appreciate this helps keep the cost down, but there's perhaps a friendlier way to communicate this. As a guest I had my concerns whether the previous guests cleaned the dishes properly, therefore I pre-washed anything I used. Therefore I find the concept not so guest-experience-friendly and not so eco-friendly.

Good location for us for one night stop. Within 5 minutes walk of eating places. Easy to find, and able to park right outside the door. Wonderful new studio apartment, carefully thought out with great kitchenette and bathroom. Good shower and comfortable bed. All shiny clean. Nice bottle of cold water for us in the fridge, and real milk. Outside patio chairs. Will certainly stay again if we go that way.

Really nothing much! The TV channels tend to break up, but I think this is to do with the location, and it did not bother us. For this price range I feel that better toiletries could have been provided. Proper shampoo at least. Lucky we brought our own. A great shame that they feel it is necessary to leave a notice asking people to wash and dry their crockery or get a fine.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had what was needed for a simple pasta meal for our family of 4. This is a basic motel: it isn't a place to hang out in, but works well for somewhere to stay while seeing sights in the area.

We had room #2 - next to the laundry room, so we could hear the washing/drying machines. Otherwise it was quiet and a pleasant place to stay.

Spacious room, clean, milk and tea / coffee provided. Good location within the town. Kind staff.

Room smelt strange - not sure what the smell was, I’ve stayed in another motel that smelt the same. Maybe it’s some deodoriser thing that the cleaners use after people cooking in the room? Kind of forgot about the smell overnight though- just put some perfume on me :’). That’s the only flaw. Apart from that, I highly recommend this accomodation.

Nice, clean property, well maintained. Beds were comfy , clean sheets and towels. Staff was helpful and cooperative. Very close to petrol pump, grocery shops , which remains open till 8 pm, pubs and hotels.

Nothing specifically. One small suggestion - the locking the toilet door was broken in room 19 and the door lock for the toilet in room 20 was malfunctioning. Needs repairing.

No service when staying two nights. No information inside about servicing for multiply nights stays.

Notice that they would charge $30.00 for not washing your dishes. Question is, if relying on the last guest to do this, just how clean are the dishes for an incoming guest? Not a normal practice for the accommodation industry. When requesting not to charge the credit card as we wished to pay by eftpos, they still charged the credit card. Was a lovely stay but spoilt by the practices taking place.
