We arrived early at the hotel as the journey did not take as long as we thought. You let us check in no problem thank you for that. Cafe in town down from 4 square does great food, boots and jandals pub over the road does great beer and food also, Wrinkley rams cafe was disappointing, it looked nice but the food was not great ( I got the ribs)

I wrote a good review but have decided to put pen to paper after finding I had been charged for 3 nights when I only stayed 2, had contacted the owners a week or so before cancelling 1 night but wasnt told I had to cancel through booking.com to stop me being charged for the night I didnt stay. When I rung the owners they advised me this is what I had to do but when I asked why I wasnt told this when I had contacted them the answer were unsatisfactory. As for trying to get hold of a NZ rep for booking.com, hopeless

Exceptionally nice and so new and fresh and clean. Just a nice walk to town for food. Lovely situation at bottom of hill. Very lovely bathroom and toiletry selection. Kitchen very well stocked with everything you might need. Plenty power points and usb oh t for charging!! Very friendly helpful staff. Lovely outdoor seating area at BBQ.

Fully equipped little apartment. Spotlessly clean and modern. Includes a sofa which was a great bonus - so comfortable as was the bed and the sheets felt luxurious! The little extras in the bathroom, perfect. The motel is boutique size and is located in a quiet area away from the main road. Owners were lovely. Loved it!

Meticulously clean and neat. Newly renovated. Definitely removed my false associate of dodgy deeds to ‘motels’ learned from American movies. Beautiful backdrop against the mountain, with plenty of peace and quiet if that’s what you’re looking for.

Very clean and beautifully presented room. Staff/owners were friendly and lovely to chat to. Shower was absolutely amazing! And loved the heater being on and room was inviting on arrival.

Nothing we didn't like. We are planning on staying again in the near future.

The unit was super clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glassware. Bathroom was luxurious and shower was lovely. Plush robes was a nice touch - spa atmosphere. Would book again and highly recommend.

The unit had a separate bedroom. It was beautifully designed and exceptionally clean. The kitchenette was well supplied to be able to cook a meal . I could live in this little apartment!

Very new, clean modern room with kitchenette. Room looked newly finished or redone in modern style. About an easy hour drive to Mt. Cook village so decent place to stay if you can't find anything closer.

Not a lot of restaurants or services in the town itself.

Nice warm rooms for a stop over. Worker had the heater on ready for us. Beds nice and comfy with just the right items we needed in the kitchen.

Paying by cash caused issues a month later when card lodged with Booking.com was used to charge it. Owner sorted this and after 3 days the money was back in my account.
