The location was excellent, near one of the best beaches, the rooms were new and clean, and the breakfast had a very large variety and large quality

For us was not a problem, but going to the beach requires descending a steep (and long) stair; a towel service at the swimming pool would have been perfect

The location is easily the best on the Island. Walking distance to Walking street either around the beach or through the middle of the island. Incredible sunsets, beach bar is great for snacks/light meals. Bungalows are nicely spread out and very clean. Clean towels every day and the sheets were changed frequently too. The grounds are well maintained. Breakfast is very varied-almost too much choice (Spaghetti Bolognaise for breakfast!?!) The staff were so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend as a family of 5 and would stay again. Great to have the free shuttle bus option too.

The rooms are a bit dated, especially the bathrooms which almost felt dirty (they weren’t-it was spotlessly clean) but some cracked tiles/rusty shower pipes etc. We had an ant problem on the first day but the maintenance team sorted it within an hour and no more ants were seen.

- The hotel is directly on a really really nice beach and they provide sun beds at the beach. - There is a shuttle to the center which runs quite often. - The breakfast buffet is huuuuuge.

- The staff was friendly but uninformed. - The A/C in our room was broken and was blasting directly on our head while sleeping. We have changed to a pool ville during our stay and in there it was alright. - In the poolvilla you get a basekt with fruit and stuff everyday and the staff always just came in our room even when we said that we were still in there and had the do not disturb sign out, they just came in.

My stay at Mountain Resort on Koh Lipe was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you could need, plus the views from the room were breathtaking. The location is unbeatable – right by the most beautiful beach on the island, making it the perfect spot for relaxation and enjoying the stunning surroundings. The breakfast was another highlight – a wide variety of food, including fresh fruits, ensured a great start to every day. I was genuinely impressed by the quality and choice. What made the experience even better was the fantastic price-to-quality ratio. I didn’t expect such an excellent experience for the price, and I left feeling like I got amazing value for my money. Highly recommend Mountain Resort for anyone visiting Koh Lipe – I’d love to return!

From the moment we arrived we didn't have to lift a finger. We were greeted at the ferry port, our bags were loaded onto a shuttle with us and we were taken to the hotel. The check in was super easy and the girl on reception was very welcoming, again our bags were taken to our rooms for us. The rooms are really spacious with lots of storage, a safe to store valuables and a huge balcony with a seating area. The best beach, north beach is located down some steps from the hotel. There is a shuttle service that runs every 15 minutes that takes you to walking street, where you will find plenty of food options at more appealing prices. The last shuttle service is at 22.00pm, there are plenty of motorbike taxis if you were to miss the bus which should cost no more than 50 baht per person. Every morning we would have tea, coffee and water dropped off on the balcony which I thought was such a lovely touch. Breakfast is included, there is something for everyone, lots of options, they even had a coffee machine with a choice of syrups with alternative milk options for those with dietary requirements. The view from the restaurant wow, you look out over the turquoise waters the view is pretty epic!

The bed was a little firm and the pillows wasn't the comfiest, it would also be nice to have an iron in the room.

The Mountain View Resort was an excellent family stop. It is located on the best swimming beach on the island. The views and the water quality are spectacular. The breakfast was incredible with something for everyone. The beach bar was a great all day eatery (if a little on the expensive side). Important things to note. The hotel will transfer you from the ferry. Just look for your hotel board held by a friendly staff member when you arrive. During the day, it's a 10 minute walk from the hotel into the main village and in the evenings the hotel runs a shuttle from 6pm-10pm

My only negative was that the rooms were a little run down and there was an smell from the bathroom that was annoying. The amenities are basic.

Beautiful ground, lots of space. Big pool and direct access to the beautiful beach. Spacious room with big terasse (Grand Garden Room). Friendly service, wide range of options for breakfast. Shuttle service in the evening to walking street.

The resort is much bigger than i expected and it is not new anymore. The design is a bit outdated, sometimes simple. And despite the mentioned facilities I would not call it a luxury hotel. Surprisingly the restaurant is closed in the evening, so you have to leave the resort for dinner. The staff is motivated and helpful, but sometimes communication is difficult due to limited English proficiency.

I loved my stay at the Mountain resort! The hotel is at the most beautiful beach and the views was incredible. Staff was very kind. Free shuttle van from 18-22 to walking street and back. Food was very good at the beach restaurant. Also very short walk to Zodiac bar from the beach! Would love to stay here again!

Hotel is on top of the hill so there is a lot of steps you have to take. Personally wasn’t a problem for me since I workout but maybe not best for elderly or disabled people.

The location is superb! The pool is good and the Room is big and comfortable and the bathroom despite being simple, is very comfortable and has a rainfall shower. The breakfast is big and included a great selection of delicious fresh fruits. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to Walking street every 20 minutes between 6 and 10 in the evening which is very convenient too. The beach bar has decent nibbles and good cocktails too. They have a rental service for kayaks, stand up paddle boards and snorkels. The hotel dog, hot dog, was one of the highlights too ♥️

We really liked the place. My husband did mention that he would have loved if they served pork.
