( ; Head on back for a nightcap. Some nice places, with some lovely people. Within walking distance. At your own pace, of course. Another kick-butt wake-up. In quite the place, to wake up. Blessed. the plumbing suffers. That's all. Sad shower. All good, until the shower. And then, of course, I didn't want to get out! Not so sad after all. Gratitude to the rinse. Thank you water. Motel 6 is Motel 6. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The motel is within walking distance of some good restaurants and a couple of interesting parks (do hunt down the commemorative of the Ghadar Party), just across the trolley tracks. The trolley runs limited hours but can take you to the Maritime Museum and shorefront shops. The room had hard vinyl flooring, no carpet. That's a huge plus for cleanliness. My adult daughter and I felt safe here.

The pool is indoors, but out of commission and looks like it has been for some time. The space is filled with the debris from a renovation - old AC units, etc. We weren't planning to use the pool for this short overnight stay, but I mention it in case that's important to another traveler.

At first I was skeptical when my partner booked there because am not a fan of motels.But after I got there, The room was clean. The best thing is there are no carpets in the room.The wooden tiles give that elegant touch and clean

The tiny soap and there was no emergency lotion. What if I didn't have one.

Check-in was fast and easy. The room was comfortable. Everything worked. The best part about staying at this location was we had a fantastic view of the bridge and the big ships steaming up and down the river. A fun surprise about the bridge was that it has twinkling red and green lights on during the night.

The drawback that kept me from giving this property a 10 was that during check-in, we were told that coffee would be available in the lobby at 6:00 a.m. But when we got there at 6:00 a.m. the next morning, the door was locked and there was a sign on the door that said I will be back at 7:00 a.m. The sign was dated the week before, making it seem that it was stuck onto the window every morning. Luckily, we found a coffee hut nearby. But it seemed to me that if no one is available until 7:00 a.m., they should let the check-in crew and the guests know the day before. I wondered if sometimes people wanted to check out early in the morning, but were unable to return their key cards because the office door was locked.

The employees were really friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate that they took my request into consideration. Great location, free wifi, good AC, a microwave and fridge.

The pillows are really flat and uncomfortable. The blankets were pretty thin.

I had a room on the backside ground floor with the back wall against the ground. It is the nicest motel six I’ve ever stayed in and I’m stayed in a lot of them. The staff were fantastic. My room was clean and quiet and the TV worked flawlessly. I wish every motel was like this.

Do not call breakfast, staff was excellent and very helpful. Love that it was pet friendly, close to river and beach. Have stayed at this location before, very satisfied

Maybe just a few more or thicker bath towels.

I liked that it was a smoking room. I liked that the room was clean and the bedding was washed. Also I liked the many channels on your cable television.

The price of the room could've been cheaper. The restaurants in town were too far away. I wish there was beach access near the hotel.

it was clean and comfortable. The heater was a little noisy, and I could have used some shampoo and conditioner ,but it was a good stay. Thank you Motel 6 for being affordable and clean. I will stay there again.

This place might no be fancy but it sure is a kick back place to rest… everyone is great people

I like the way they have the 8 rooms in the back of the motel it’s more private and relaxing watching the river
