Staff is very very helpful and answers to all my questions very promptly via WhatsApp. Helped me to book all the tours at last minute. When tv wasn’t working, they came immediately to check it out (and it was raining and windy). Property is very well kept, very comfortable bed and kitchen, lovely bathroom with all toiletries provided and they have the best swimming pool with live size connect4 pool game to play as a family.

If I have to find fault, it would be one of the guide they booked us at curi cancha wasn’t very good. His jokes were not funny, sometimes made up things (and try to be funny) to my kids that weren’t true and he didn’t have much skills with finding animals. We only saw hard-to-find animals when we walked past other groups who have found something. The only things he found were mostly what we saw in front of us too. Nonetheless, this isn’t the fault of the Green Forest. They have been exceptional in everything truly!

Nice location. Very helpful staff on arrival as we arrived slightly early but they were happy to let us check in. Nice big property with plenty of space for everyone. Kids loved the attic space to chill out. Massive bathrooms. Good location for short visit to Monteverde, but would choose somewhere closer to town if staying longer as the drive was a pain.

Property quite dated. Beds far too soft. Seemed strange to have TVs in bedrooms but not in common area. TV in main bedroom couldn't pick up much signal and unable to connect to netflix etc. (not really an issue as were not in property that much). Driveway to get in is very steep, so make sure you have a 4x4! Our 4x4 hire car still struggled when it was wet!!

Easy to get info from host via what’s app and was quick to respond. Easy to checkin as host gave clear instructions prior to arrival. Kitchen had most things u needed including salt,pepper and coffee. . Place was quiet but walkable to town/restaurants. Had an indoor pool (didn’t use it but other familes did). Place has 3 separate houses. Ours had 1 bedroom with a king and queen and large living room with a dining table and chairs. Nice patio with 2 chairs and table to have coffee/drinks on. Loved the place and would definitely stay here again.

Improvements would be to replace pump for dish detergent-it is old and difficult to get the detergent out. Also, add more hooks in bathroom so can hang toiletry bag, towels once used etc. loved the coat rack and hung my hats, jackets, etc. Finally maybe another end table with drawer or two. We had 4 people staying and not a lot of storage space. just be advised that it is up am insanely steep street which was fine once u got the hang of driving up it.

Lovely cabin. 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms plus living room-dining area & kitchen was ideal. It could easily sleep a family with plenty of room instead of typical hotel. Not fancy but Nice indoor pool. You could walk to downtown if you are fit. Next to wildlife park worth visiting. Loved Monteverde!

We enjoyed everything! Do note it is on a steep hill so be ready for that if you plan to walk places. We usually walked “down” & took a taxi back up. But I’m a senior citizen.

Great location! It was very central and close to town and everything you could need. The bathroom showers were hot and had excellent water pressure. They provided lovely quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, liquid hand soap, body lotion and bar soap. The master shower was HUGE. Those were the best showers we had in all of Costa Rica. Wifi was excellent. Free secure parking (behind a gate, opened by key pad) Staff was excellent. Erny greeted us with a cold drink, lots of great information and answered any questions we had that came up during our stay by texted on Whatsap. Living room had two large sofas that were comfortable. Condo was spacious. The kids liked the cute loft in their room. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need to prepare a meal. We only had basic cooking but at a quick glance it seems to have most things. They provided a large jar of coffee & sugar Semi-in-door pool was nice and hot. There were bathrooms by the pool.

Where we reverse our car to leave, the drive was tight and eroded. The hill to the property was VERY steep so we drove every- we did not walk. No AC in the living room.

The walls of windows was lovely as was the loft area. You can walk to town which is convenient . The beds are comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful

The decor was at times great but at times off. We had to keep the doors open for fresh air and as there were no windows with screens we had quite a few insects. This seems to be the norm in Costa Rica but with the hefty price tag we expected screens or AC.

Lovely and modern vacation house in the mountains of Monteverde. The house came with a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and a nice lofted sitting area. The beds were comfortable, and the water was hot. We really enjoyed the indoor heated pool as well!

Check-in was a little confusing, since we had to go to a separate facility under a different name to retrieve instructions for entry. The roads around the area can be rough, especially if you are traveling from the Arenal area - a lot of roads were rock and dirt, with lots of potholes, and can be steep!

Modern, clean and comfortable. Great location, close to everything if you have a car (walking can be difficult because it is on a very steep hill). People at reception were the best - went out of their way to help us contact a ziplining company that we had accidentally made an incorrect booking with. Also gave good suggestions on avoiding the tour in the afternoon due to possibility of rain, which it did!

Would be very useful to install screen on the door because otherwise it gets stuffy inside. Can’t open the glass door in the evening because of insects.

Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We were greeting with an offering of several types of beverages and a hot towel to freshen up with after our long trek up the mountain. The location itself was very private and quiet, and very close to several local restaurants and markets. It was also in a convenient location for us from activities we had planned. We only spent a few nights here but would have loved to stay longer.

Very modern and clean. We liked everything about this house and highly recommend it. The pool had warm water and was nice to soak in after a day of hiking. Beds were comfy and towels, sheets were clean. Customer service was great and you can communicate via WhatsApp. They helped us book a certified guide for our Monteverde Cloud Forest visit the night before and he was very knowledgeable. We wished we could have stayed longer!
