Important to understand that this isn't a regular hotel, but a college renting out some of their available accomodation. My room was in a modern annex, a little ascetic in appearance but has everything you need. The college is very pretty and heavy with history. Everything seems well kept with a wonderful garden and lots of open space. Breakfast is in the main hall, with a full english buffet and the classic long tables. The lodge is manned 24/7 and everyone there were very helpful.
Got some flashbacks from my own university days.

Rated as a college room: Super-clean, bright room in a modern bldg. Big bathroom with double shower, mini-fridge was very handy and liked being able to control lights by bed. Fantastic location, great security, in an attractive college with an interesting mix of modern and old buildings on the grounds. Tea trays are such a nice touch. Housekeeping is excellent.
One niggling thing, trying to hang things up was a little hard for someone 5' 3".

The room was clean and equipped with everything I needed for my short stay and more! It is excellent design for student quarters and could imagine myself spending much longer there had I the opportunity. The staff is lovely, the campus location beautiful and within reach of everything in the center of the city. I also applaud the use of biodegradable and plasticless sheet soap and shampoo, as well as the bins for waste separation inside the room. It was a pleasant and welcome indicator that management is green-aware.

Excellent breakfast with interesting fellow guests to chat with; handy central location; room had loads of storage space, fridge, and full set of recycling bins. Ensuite bathroom spotlessly clean.
The only thing missing was a door/wall hook to hang an outdoor coat, which would be a nuisance in wet weather; hooks in the bathroom either side of the mirror would have been good too. There's lots of available wall space so this would be easy to rectify.

Wadham College was a lovely place to stay, with a green and gardens, as well as a beautiful historic Hall where breakfasts were served. Because I mentioned in advance I had some mobility problems, I was given a modern, disability room that was quiet and very comfortable. And all staff were friendly and helpful. Wadham College was also a short walk to some historic sites.
There was nothing about the College I didn’t like, or felt needed improving.

If you're looking for a taste of the history, staying at Wadham College can fulfill your dreams. Established in 1610, Wadham is smack dab in the historic center of the city. The old quad, the dining hall and the gardens are evocative of a long gone era The experience today in the 21st century .... an accommodation, albeit very basic, that is impeccably clean and comfortable. The atmosphere -- very quiet and very safe. I hope to return.
Nothing that I can think of.

Nice breakfast in the historical refectory, the bed was comfy but the furniture and room structure were pretty ugly and old. Lovely courtyards and historical structure. Great accommodations for student, much less so for tourists.
Highly overpriced for a single bedroom with common toilets and showers. The shower was one floor up with respect to my room so you need to walk in a bathrobe through the corridors and stairs.

Quiet room very close to town Excellent full English breakfast along with wide range of fruit etc. served in historic dining hall Beautiful gardens to sit in. 24 hour porter with friendly staff
A lot of stairs if you have heavy luggage. Some narrow spiral stairs to get to room once in accommodation building. No kettle in room or any tea making facilities

Superb - in a college refectory that rather resembled a church and we were surrounded by historical paintings and indeed history. Selection of breakfast foods very good. What a beautiful place to spend the night!
The rooms are quite studenty, but then they are student rooms, so what can you expect? Otherwise nothing to complain about!

The location was excellent, staff were helpful and very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with lots of choice.
The chairs in the room were quite uncomfortable, and the bathroom was small. The shower head had recently been replaced but didn’t fit into its holder, so had to be hand held.
