Staying at this hotel was a true pleasure. From the very beginning, you can feel the warm, family-like atmosphere – the owner and his son are incredibly kind and welcoming, which greatly enhances the overall experience. The cleanliness is absolutely spotless – both the rooms and common areas are impeccably maintained. Guests are also provided with high-quality toiletries that have a wonderful, luxurious scent. The entire staff is extremely friendly and always ready to help, no matter the time of day. The location is another big plus – the hotel is just a short walk from the beach, with several restaurants nearby. Breakfasts deserve a special mention – not only for their taste but also for how well they’re organized. Each morning, you can simply relax on the terrace while a staff member comes to take your order. The selection is wide, and everything is freshly prepared and delicious – a perfect way to start the day. This place is genuinely worth recommending – the great atmosphere, high standards, and excellent service make it a spot you’ll want to return to.

Fantastic stay in Selong balanak area of Lombok, surrounded by greenery and within walking distance from a stunning beach and many good restaurants. All of the staff were welcoming and very friendly, they did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. A special thank you to Ardi who was very kind and helpful, treating us like his family. He even arranged everything for our fast boat to Bali after checkout. The bungalow was spacious and clean, with an outdoor bathroom and front patio where we were served breakfast. Very good food for breakfast. The pool area was very clean and there are sunbeds to catch some sun. We would highly recommend this stay and we will certainly be back.

The outdoor bathroom wasn't ideal because of exposure to insects/mosquitos/lizards, especially if needing to use when dark. There is an overhead shower above a fully curved bath tub which creates a slipping hazard. There wasn't a hair dryer in the room.

The stay really exceeded our expectations - we especially liked: - The hospitality of the staff at the Bungalow. Adi (sorry if I misremembered) looked after us very well and everyone was very accomodating, relaxed and friendly. Everything was well organized (including last min taxi to leave). - The surfing lessons with Budi were really great. Budi is a great teacher and I loved hearing stories about his life in Lombok. He taught us a lot about life in Selong Belanak, Lombok and the wider region of West Nusa Tenggara. - The breakfast was amazing, Nasi Goreng was the best we had in Lombok. Omelettes were also very good. Lombok coffee was delicious. We loved having the breakfast in the patio. - The bungalow was beautiful, clean and serene. Having a ceiling fan + AC was great, as I don't like having the AC on too much. Mosquito net helped during the night. - Having read other reviews, I wasn't sure about the outdoor shower. However, for us it worked wonderfully. I really enjoyed having outdoor bathroom / showers and did not get nearly as many bugs/moths as I expected. The bathroom is very beautifully decorated.

Exceptional,welcoming staff who clearly explained all available amenities and services upon arrival. This property was beautiful and so well maintained and attention to detail in the bungalows was next level. A beautiful breakfast with delicious coffee was served in the mornings on the outside private terrace which was such a lovely and decadent touch! Bed, beddings, organic toiletries... All top-notch. And just 5 minute walk to the most beautiful beach. This is an exceptional property that is run with care and deserved pride... Definite value for money!

Honestly, nothing. This place was perfection that far exceeded all expectations!

Great and luxurious place. Bungalows were clean and beautifully decorated. Gigantic bed, mosquito net and AC made me sleep very well. There was a hot/warm/cold water dispenser, free coffee and tea, fridge and some snacks (paid). Breakfast consisted of fresh juice of your choice, coffee or tea and there were 5 breakfast options to choose, such as eggs and toast, granola, pancakes. Staff were amazing and very helpful.

There was no toilet bidet sprayer in the bathroom (which I know for most western tourists is not a problem 😉). The odour from the drain every time I used shower or sink was quite unpleasant and pungent but it was disappearing after few moments. The bathtub/shower base is slightly curved which may pose a risk of slipping.

The bungalows are a 10 out of 10. It's impossible to find any fault! The rooms were absolutely spotlessly clean and kept that way on a daily basis, which was highty appreciated. The staff is wonderful and incredibly friendly and helpful. The bed really comfortable and I loved the huge Moskito net around it. Best design ever! Even though there are calls of prayers, we never heard them inside the room. It was also great having our own sun loungers outside, beach towels and lovely smelling shower gel /shampoo and conditioner. Beach is also only 5min walk away and enough restaurants within a 5-10 min walk away.

All was perfect

Burudika Bungalows are set in a beautiful garden, are beautifully decorated and provided many small touches which were greatly appreciated- chilled water dispenser, coffee/tea, fridge, earplugs and a great outdoor bathroom with bath. The position was perfect for exploring by foot or scooter. Scooter rental, massage in the room and food delivery were easily available. Wellness centre with huge magnesium spa, sauna and ice baths is about to open. Outdoor pool and breakfast delivered to your outside porch each morning.

A perfect place to rest after the Mount Rinjani tour. The communication with the staffs were perfect. They were happy to help us if we needed help or had questions. The bedroom and the bathroom are amazing. They are very clean, very comfortable and beautiful. This hotel is so much better than the any 5 stars hotel out there. The breakfasts were also great. It's so delicious and you got served in front of your bungalow! If we come to selong belanak, we will absolutely stay here again.

We have stayed in Selong Belanak before but this is our first time staying at Burudika and we are so pleased we booked a stay here. The bungalows are exceptional, modern, clean, comfortable and well thought out. Breakfast was excellent, staff amazingly friendly and helpful - It’s in walking distance to plenty of restaurants. Pool small but great for a quick dip to cool off 😁

My boyfriend and I extended our stay twice if that tells you anything. We really loved this place, the property was very cute with just four bungalows that had private sunbeds and a pool which kept it quiet and serene. The bungalows were new, spacious and had very nice amenities like a stocked water jug (cold and hot settings), stocked fridge with snacks and a really beautiful outdoor bathroom. The staff were just wonderful, they really made the stay feel more comfortable and didn’t hesitate to help us if we ever needed it. A couple notable moments were the same-day acquisition of green tea upon request, and actually getting some candles for me when I mentioned earlier in the day it was my birthday! The mornings were wonderful, the peaceful ambience felt from the swaying trees outside the windows really made it hard to get up, but fortunately to pull us out of bed was the breakfast included that was just delicious, to be enjoyed on our private patio. While there was no on site kitchen for dinner all of the local restaurants would deliver right to our bungalow - I must mention Pronto Pizza, which blew me away even as an Italian! Can’t forget to mention the proximity to the beach, just a 5 minute walk literally down the road, it made it so easy to move back and forth through the day as we pleased. We were sad to leave and would come back in a heartbeat!
