I recently had the pleasure of staying at Skye Inn during my trip to Nepal, and it was an absolutely stunning experience! The hotel itself is gorgeous, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff, especially Mr. Panta. His humility and helpfulness were beyond compare – he truly is a Superman! Every morning, we were treated to a complimentary breakfast that was nothing short of excellent. The highlight for me was the cheese, yogurt (dahee), and butter made from yak milk – simply divine! The food and drinks were top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us with everything, from providing food for our infant to converting dollars to rupees at the best rates. All credit goes to the amazing Mr. Panta! In the chilly weather, the continuous hot water supply in the bathroom was a lifesaver. Thank you so much, Skye Inn, for making our trip so memorable. I can’t wait to come back – I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Nepal!

I recently stayed at Skyinn Kathmandu from December 30, 2024, to January 4, 2025, with my wife and our 7-month-old baby, and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel’s prime location made it easy to explore Kathmandu, while the spacious rooms with reliable hot water facilities ensured a comfortable stay for the entire family. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel manager deserves special mention for being exceptionally friendly and cordial. One of the most thoughtful gestures was their willingness to prepare special food for our baby, which made traveling with an infant stress-free and enjoyable. Skyinn Kathmandu also offers a wide range of travel packages to explore the city and its surroundings. We chose one of their packages to visit prominent landmarks around Kathmandu, and the experience was seamless. The hotel provided transportation as part of the package, making it incredibly convenient for us. The on-site restaurant was a standout, especially for sports lovers, offering a vibrant atmosphere and delicious meals. The complimentary breakfast was another highlight, with plenty of options to start the day right.Overall, Skyinn Kathmandu provided excellent hospitality, thoughtful services, and a memorable stay. I highly recommend it to families and travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great travel experiences.

Great location in a side street if central Thamel, next to restaurants and shops but slightly away from the really busy roads. Room was big and clean - I stayed in the 3rd floor and had a sofa in my room. Staff were friendly. They stored our bags while we did the Annapurna Circuit. Breakfast was pretty good - hot and cold food plus freshly made omelette if you wanted. Friendly restaurant staff.

Shower - took 5 mins to get hot each time. Noise - it is central so some noise to be expected, but it was very noisy at times: one morning they had a 6:30am delivery of gas bottles right above my room! Nighttime can also be a bit noisy, despite the area being cordoned off. Bring some earplugs.

We were graciously accommodated with an early check-in and even received a complimentary room upgrade. The breakfast, served in a charming pub setting, offers a diverse and delicious selection. The hotel left such a positive impression that we chose to return during our second stay in Thamel. Truly a hidden gem in central Kathmandu."

I stayed at Skye Inn Kathmandu for a night after completing my trekking. This hotel is centrally located with all the amenities around, sorrounded by clubs and a great variety of restaurants for dining out. The evening time appears live to roam around. The staffs were friendly and professional so I experienced a sense of welcoming atmosphere. The room I booked was well enough, clean and tidy, spacious equipped with ample ensuite bathrooms. I loved the "Buffet Breakfast" with varieties of selection. They also arranged a pick-up and drop-off services to and from airport. Overall, I had a great time at Skye Inn Hotel and would like others to try it out.

My time at the Skye inn was made exceptional by the manager Dinanath and his staff who intelligently helped with all my Nepal activities ( tour bookings , hotel services and general advice ). I would recommend the Skye Inn to any visitors to Nepal who want to get a locals feel for Kathmandu and solid advice and assistance with any wider adventures .Hotels Location and a relaxed atmosphere makes your stay highly enjoyable . A True Heaven of Comfort! I recently stayed here and it was by far one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked into the beautifully designed lobby, I knew I was in for a treat. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. About room it was Spacious, immaculately clean, comfortable bed with variety of breakfast options. On the top Mr. Dinananth Panta himself was a gem person to meet. Very Nice and Humble person. I will definitely come here again and again.

The staff during our stay at Skye Inn were exceptional. They were always extremely helpful and friendly, making us feel comfortable and welcomed. The breakfast has a good variety of food. You are able to try something new and or stay with something more familiar if you want. The location is perfect. It is in the centre of Thamel, making shopping in the local markets so easy.

It can be nosy at night due to the Thamel night life. We woke up from the noise a few times, however, was durable.

The room is spacious and clean, good shower and centrally located. Staffs are friendly and helpful. It is right in the heart of Thamel and accessible to everything.

In the heart of Thamel so expect loud noises past midnight from the club and restaurants nearby, on Friday night the noise last until 3am. If you need a good night sleep maybe not a good choice. Early morning from 6am the noise from surrounding starts as well.
