The hotel is huge, very close to the beach (5 min walking), surrounded by trees, with a nice pool. Rooms are very clean, the ladies come every day to clean and to change the towels. Diversity of food, which is very tasty as well. We enjoyed our staying.

I just didn’t understand why we did not receive two rooms one close to the other one, as we traveled with my parents which are helping a lot with the baby and I mentioned this in my reservation made since January. The explanation at the reception: the hotel is fully booked. Yes, but I reserved in January. When you make the plan of all your bookings, you don’t take into consideration an early booking request? Why it’s so difficult to give me the room next door if you know this with 6 months in advance?

Everything was great with the exception of the spa. The rest was just amazing. The food was exceptionally delicious and the garden is a real paradise on earth. I am absolutely enchanted by this place. I am so happy it is Bulgarian. Very high quality of the tourist service. And the staff are extremely kind and helpful. The location is a dream come true. Words just fail me. I am in love with Helena!

Just the spa. It is outdated and a bit neglected. It is obvious people don't go there for the spa, but if it exists some people might want to take advantage of it, especially out of the season.

Everything was super: food, acomodation etc.

Same thing happens every year. No measure is taken against the people who are reserving sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach or around the pool. I was on the beach at 8 am and there were seats available only starting with row 5, the people reserving their seats with towels in the front rows were arriving way later, even around 10 am.

the location is very nice, the room is big and clean, the meals are very good and well diversified, the staff is nice and polite.

The bar was not ultra all inclusive, it was only all inclusive (there were no international brands for the alcoholic drinks); the special evening dinner is nothing special, it should be eliminated. There is no free bar on the beach, if you want something to drink while on the beach you have to come to the nearest free bar inside the resort. The parking zone is small and very crowded (we parked our car on the sidewalk in from of the hotel because there were no parking places free).

The only thing to improve is beach management. There were plenty of available loungers near the pool at any given time, but the beach was Wild West. The beach is only for Helena Resort clients but there were many people "from outside", because the hotel doesn't check it. There were many signs asking clients not to reserve loungers with their towels but many people blocked 2-3 loungers for half a day and came only in the afternoon. This could be prevented by hiring 1 beach manager who would check who goes to the beach and remove the "reservation towels" as they do in many other hotels.

We love the property. Everything’s from the staff to the rooms and cleanliness is nice. The food was great and a lot to choose from, great variety. I am not a big fan of drinking but the beer was ok, the white whine was also good and the soft drinks are ok as well.

The bad beach management. Actually there is no beach management for the chairs. Although there are signs for guests to not use towels to reserve beach chairs all of them do it, at 9am there is nothing available outside the paid ones. For an all inclusive and for a 5 star hotel that is a no-no from me.

Helena Park is not located in the centre of noisy central part of Sunny Beach, which was rather convenient for us. Spotlessly clean hotel building, outdoor pools as well as rooms. Cleaned daily by the group of hard and well working ladies. Food? More than excellent. Tasty, fresh everyday, healthy if you skip a lot of sweet small things. Daily two kinds of fish with a lot vegetables. Pooll bar an lobby bar well stocked with drinks of local as well as international origin. Surprisingly Bulgarian whisky Black Ram was better for me than Scotch ones.

Generally, the bars and small shops at main Sunny Beach promenade do not accept payment by cards, just cash. If you need cash, you have to use ATM with very strange exchange rates. Not sure if this is the habit of the whole Sunny Beach, but it seems as a cartel agreement. Regarding Helena Park pls be aware that not all outdoor pools belongs to Helena Park. One of theme (the biggest one) is forbidden to use for the guest of Helena Park, however it creates part of the whole Helena Resort. Booking.com should explicitly state which pool is and which pool is not accessible when selling the Helena Park on their page.

Everything was great at Helena Resort. The room is spacious and it was serviced every day. Food is good and you will find variety (they have special nights with specific foods). The resort is full of life and vegetation, a great pool and nice atmosphere. The beach is few meters away from the resort exit.

There is no beach management. You have to wake up before the breakfast starts to go and "reserve" sunbeds using towels. If you go after 9 am there will be no sunbeds available and you have to stay at the payed zone.

Everything, the food, the location ...

The only drawback was that the private beach was always reserved by other guests that have placed the towels on the beach chairs and do not show up until 11am. Even tho we were going there at 8am, we had to sit on the floor while the chairs around us were empty for hours. It needs to be a better control on that because its extremely inconvenient I was 7 months pregnant and I had to sit on the floor without a shadow or choose to pay in the pay zone, while the private chairs are actually empty.

This hotel is highly recommended. The service is wonderful, the food is brilliant. The private beach is really close. We loved the pool and the vibe there.

All the staff is super nice, the waiters and waitresses are adoreable, but fire the life guard at the pool!!He is the biggest jerk I've ever met. Has nothing to do with people and the tourism. As I see I'm not the only one with this opinion.
