The hotel rooms were clean, the staff was friendly.

Booking says you can pay at the accommodation and they charge you at the end when you leave and they don't accept any kind of international card because the data phone they have only works for cards from India. So in reality you end up paying the payment in cash. If it is a hotel where tourists stay, it must be equipped with a data phone for international payments.

The property is brand new so all of the facilities are top notch. Good shower and very comfortable beds with smart TV. Staff on reception were super helpful and accommodating even providing a room for us to use while ours was cleaned.

The location is a little misleading. It’s a 15 minute walk to Connaught Place down a pretty sketchy road. Plenty of Tuk Tuks around though so not a major issue

My stay at Hotel Shandon was truly wonderful from the moment I arrived. The owner personally welcomed me with genuine warmth, making me feel instantly at ease. The reception staff were professional, friendly, and quick to assist with check-in, offering helpful tips about the local area. Throughout my stay, every staff member I encountered was courteous and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-furnished, providing a perfect space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is new, the facilities are good, there is enough space in the room and in the bathroom, and has excellent beds with comfortable matresses and proper pillows, wich is not that common even in more expensive hotels. The AC and the wifi worked fine. There is just a very small dining room and no buffet, but there's enough to choose in the menu, including dishes for the western taste. The meals are good and the service to have breakfast or dinner in your room is efficient. There are a few rooms with no windows that in another city would not be the best choice, but in the noisy Delhi are a blessing. We could sleep very well in a very quite atmosphere. There is a metro station just in front of the hotel, wich make the place even more noisy, but is very convenient if you intend to use the metro, wich is a good option. We moved on our own all the time in and out of Delhi, but Tanveer was very accessible to give advice before we arrived and very helpful to get a proper driver for the trips we made. Afsana and the desk and rooms personnel were also very dedicated. We were very confortable.

The street is a little bit creepy at night and very noisy all day long, like most parts of Delhi, even near Connaught Place. It is almost impossible to have a hotel in the downtown in a nice and quite place for an affordable prize. Delhi is Delhi.

Usually stay at a Hilton but had a change this time, Hotel Shannon, warm welcome by all the staff, tour manager sorts everything you need within an hour for trips ect with no hassle, booked the executive suite as very good price with views of the Main Street so that was good, the Hotel food was absolutely delicious😋😋😋 & so cheap, the guy who brings Your room service treats you like a king 🤴, he is a asset to the hotel, bed was very large & comfortable great sleep every night overall 10/10, cannot fault this place, great value for money book with confidence you won’t be disappointed,

Every member of the staff was exceptionally attentive and genuinely helpful, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Shandon. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The check-in process was smooth, and we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of the room. It was well-equipped with everything we needed — a cozy bed, fast Wi-Fi, and a modern bathroom. The hotel’s location is perfect — close to local attractions, markets & restaurants. Super price performance ratio Very nice personal, super location Thank you! And First time in Delhi and I'm stay 2days more in this same room. Ideal hotel to stay in the city if you are on business. Clean spacious room. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. I had asked the hotel to help me change some money and I had accidentally given extra. Reception side That I think is honesty and integrity beyond measure. Will be going to Delhi again and this is my recommended place. Near by to so many shopping outlets and restaurants. We stayed for 4 nights. Access to the hotel was easy. The room was clean and well appointed and the staff were responsive and helpful. The bed and furniture were comfortable. Our room had a window and was just for 2 people so was a good size for us. The meals provided through room service were excellent. Very tasty, reasonably priced, good variety and quick to arrive. We didn’t find the room noisy and although there was some work being done upstairs during a couple of the days it was no issue. The onsite tour desk was a big help. We booked a city and Taj Mahal tour as well as airport transfers easily at a reasonable cost.

The street entrance to the hotel was very “gritty” as are many parts of Delhi. Broken glass bottles, very dirty street and generally unpleasant. There was no actual dining room so all our meals were through room service. The room had a small table and comfortable chairs to accommodate so not really an issue, just something to be aware of. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to Connaught Place so was further than expected.

Very nicely located hotel, close to the metro station with lots of tuk tuks available everywhere. You can walk to Connaught Place or Paharganj easily. Rooms without windows are quiet rooms while those with window are rather noisy because of the big road. The bathroom is well equipped and clean. Staff has been most fantastic and helpful all the time, particularly the nice lady at the reception and the two guys helping with the luggage, with facilities and with breakfast. Thank you! Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, breakfast can be ordered separately.
