Extremely clean, great breakfast options, staff super attentive.

Location advertised as beach front not quite so: a public road separated the property from the beach itself. The beach is 20 feet wide, rocks, both on the beach and in the water! Need water shoes to get in! Difficult access to the property from main road with hairpin curves and super narrow lanes, but that’s not unusual for Crete. Otherwise, very beautiful!

Wonderful quality buffet breakfast, lovely pools and drinks, cocktails in the roof. Massage chair. Very friendly staff, felt at home. Really relaxed in perfect location.

Nothing, apart from breakfast staff taking plates about quick and slamming cutlery when drying up. But minor, not a big deal.

The room was spacious and the air conditioning worked a treat! The meals were delicious with a different menu every evening. This resort is perfect for families as the pool is lovely and the beach and restaurants are all directly opposite. Down at the beach we thoroughly enjoyed hire our sunbeds €5 each from Costa Anita . Our toasted club sandwiches and cocktails we're delicious. All the staff at Aylmirda hotel were lovely especially Marianna who served us every evening. She made our family feel so welcome and is a credit to this hotel. The housekeeping cleaning staff are all amazing too. Reception staff also very helpful. Organised our taxi transfer to and from the airport costing us €55 cash each way. This is a great hotel that makes you feel so welcome and the area is safe - everything walking distance just how we like it.

We were staying at the Studios, and breakfast was served in another location, except last day. It was way nicer here. There was literally a battle on the sunbeds by the pools. People would reserved them at 7 in the morning and then there no chance to get one. Plus they dont have sunbeds on the beah. Our hotel didnt provide beach towels, even touugh the other 2 locations did. And we paid actually a lot. The walls are extremely thin. We heard everything the couple next to us was doing. Bathroom were renewed, but the rooms are a bit outdated. There were kids at the adults only pool!

The rooms just refurbished, spacious all with a nice sea view. Very clean and comfortable. The terrace on the roof with the pool overlooking the sea was just lovely. All the staff were simply fantastic, very attentive and friendly. Dimitri’s cocktails in the roof terrace and the live music are wonderful. Food is great, lot’s of variety for breakfast and for dinner, really very good quality. Beach is just across the street.

In the morning on the second floor the noise from moving tables for breakfast is a bit disturbing, same a for certain sewer smell sometimes.

Location was excellent and the hotel was very well; managed. All staff were cheerful and friendly and all did their individual jobs very well

Room was smaller than expected baring in mind that we booked a larger bedroom to sleep up to three guests. Fortunately there were only two of us.There was not a bed settee as advertised, just a chaise longue type settee that would have been too small for most guests.

Everything! The hotel and all the facilities were spotless. The staff were so welcoming and really friendly and helpful and the location was fabulous. There were so many small traditional Greek restaurants all along the road and the sea was so clear. There were also several long walks/hikes starting from the taxi rank which had some very steep hills to climb but had numerous breathtaking views

Pool was freezing and not always sunbeds free as people reserved with towels despite being told not too but we spent most of our time on the beach so not really an issue. Food was great but one of our children has autism and very particular about food. Not much of an option for him at dinner but he loved the breakfast!

Warm welcome, professional and helpful reception (in particular Aphrodite at hotel and Elini at studios) - fabulous waiters and waitresses- nothing was too much trouble. Excellent decor and super smart bathrooms and comfy beds in modern attractive rooms. Excellent value on half board- both breakfast and dinner offered a wide choice and something for everyone. We moved to studios and the location in beach waa amazing. The whole 4 nights was wonderful. We had a massage across the road at the sister hotel which was excellent and there was jazz on the roof terrace one evening which was delightful. The pool area was also perfect and the pool a great size! All in all u cannot fault this hotel and I'm fussy! Well done to all the management and staff for a perfect four days! Thank you.

very confortable and well cleaned room, cleaning waitress is also a great artist ! very good internet connection, all staff excellent: kind and helpful, receptionists, hall butlers, chef . Good bed, good breakfast and restaurant, and bar. 3 beauti-ful swimming pools. All excellent !

It would be better include also Ombrella and sunlits on the beach. Beverage cost should be possible to put in room bill, it would be more elegant....
