Lovely location. Everything comfortable and clean. Beautiful grounds full of birds. Friendly resident dog and cat. Outstanding breakfast. Rooms warm in winter. Beds supportive. Bathroom v good. Great WiFi.

This isn't a criticism but is worth knowing. This is a top end Bed and Breakfast establishment with additional catering when there are a reasonable number of guests. It's not equipped for self catering. So in low season you'll need to go elsewhere for meals other than breakfast. Alora is maybe 15 minutes away and Antequera over a half hour. So in low season it makes sense to go out for the day, have dinner and then come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming B&B tucked away in the remote mountains of southern Spain. The setting is peaceful and authentic, far from the crowds and noise of larger tourist areas. It truly feels like a local escape rather than a commercial hotel experience. The staff are wonderful—genuinely kind people who clearly care about the place and their guests. Their hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Everything is thoughtfully taken care of, but never in a forced or superficial way. If you're looking for something serene, soulful, and authentically Spanish, this is it. We left feeling refreshed, connected to the area, and very well looked after. Highly recommended.

Nothing, everything was great!

From the moment we were met at the gate to the property to the minute we checked out our hosts were attentive, helpful and provided an exceptional service. The room was spacious and comfortable, they had even decorated it because it was my boyfriend’s birthday, which was such a lovely detail. The grounds of the cortijo were beautifully maintained and the pool was a perfect addition to what is an oasis of peace and relaxation set in the beautiful countryside near Álora. The evening meal was delicious, and the breakfast the next morning was a good offering of what you’d expect from a continental breakfast, with the added touch of a fresh omelette made to order. We would highly recommend and will definitely return. Thank you!

I and my husband stayed only 1 night but it was such a pleasure to be there. Owners of the hotel provided the best service ever, they are very friendly, helpful and talkative. Their dog is amazing, she wanna play with you all the time and bring you her toys. I said that I had a birthday on the day of our entrance and was a surprise to find our room decorated with balloons. Such a nice detail. Our room was 10/10. The bed is soo comfortable. The area of hotel is so beautiful and clean, views of green fields, makes you enjoy every minute there. The breakfast was fully complete, the owner treated us as a member of his family. So warm and kind staying. I highly recommend this hotel, and to meet this nice Holland men's and their cute dog.

Superfriendly staff going out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Its a great location for exploring the area north of Malaga including Ronda. Beautiful surroundings can be enjoyed from the central deck on which breakfast and at times dinner is served. The small scale ensures maximum relaxation

Great location, really quiet and in the middle of nowhere - great to help switch off. The pool area was amazing, and the pool itself is slightly heated so perfect morning and afternoon. The owners were helpful, warm and welcoming without being intense or overwhelming.

There was nothing we didn’t really like, or that was worthy of complaint.

The owners are really nice, Jordi and arrian (I'm not sure if I'm writing it right) give you a warm welcome, offer you a drink and anything that you need. They even cooked something for us because we couldn't get anything cause of Semana santa. The place is amazing and very quiet

Nothing really. I didn't tell the owners because it wasn't a big issue but I'm our room Jaén, there was no shampoo or washing gel. But as I said we had shampoo so it wasn't a big issue

The attention to detail was fantastic and the hosts were excellent.The food was fantastic and the accommodation was beautiful.The pool and grounds were extremely well kept and the location was perfect for us but would recommend car hire .

Well kept and everything worked (showers, AC, pool, electricity…) and very comfy beds. It’s far away from everything and you can see the stars at night. Cute house pets and an incredible view of the mountains and great start point for hikes.

Good to know: dinner is only served in the high season (not July) and vegan breakfast options are limited. So it’s best to be flexible and have a car.

Received a warm welcome on arrival, hosts are very friendly with an exceptional attention to detail. Peaceful rural location but has everything that is needed. Accommodation ,gardens and pool area are to a very high standard and exceptionally clean. Nothing to dislike about our stay and will most certainly return . This is a 5 Star experience
