Very handy for airport with free shuttle offered. Monica's daily breakfasts were delicious! I also did a number of tours with Thomas and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. The pool, gardens and outdoor areas were lovely to relax in. My room was large and comfortable and had great amenities. I would 100% recommend this hotel and will stay again next time I'm in Johannesburg

This was home away from home for me and I enjoyed every single minute of my stay, the 10 days went very quickly for me and I wanted to stay longer. Thank you very much Mark, Judy, Louise, Vukosi, Alice, Maggie and the entire staff at the Lodge, you all made my stay enjoyable and Mr. Thomas, my driver and guide, I cannot thank you enough. The personal touch, kindness and cleanliness. I was already booked at a different place as they promised an airport shuttle. When I arrived in Johannesburg, and asked, they let me know that the shuttle is unavailable. I canceled my stay and found you, highly rated. I booked and called and within 15 your shuttle picked me up. Incredible service. Thank you.

It was very cold! (Not your fault!) A warmwater bottle for the bed may have helped. There was no lighting over at the cupboard where one can store your suitcase. I had to use my flashlight to find things in my bag.

I enjoyed being in a quiet space. The food at both restaurants was AMAZING!! I will dream about the chicken salad that Chef Harry makes!! And Monika who makes breakfast also is a must visit!

To me it was a bit annoying that one day I could dine in my room and then the next day I wasn’t allowed to dine in my room. It was mostly annoying when it was raining and I wasn’t allowed to eat in my room when the day before I was allowed to have room service. Inconsistent made it less relaxing tbh.

The presence of wildlife was an extra added bonus and also the opportunity to be able to feed the animals The beautifully laid on spread/buffet was very delicious. The welcome shot by Mr Harrison was a surprise but very well received.

Airport pickup and drop-off were excellent. They contacted us regularly via WhatsApp and picked us up on time. We had the opportunity to try the dinner; everything was delicious and the price was reasonable. We also appreciated the breakfast and the cleanliness of the room. The staff were very attentive. Definitely recommended if you're planning a one-night stay near the airport.

Everything was great and as advertised, the staff went above and beyond on a few special requests we had at no extra charge.

We booked 2 rooms, the shower in our room had very bad water pressure and the room wasn't very soundproof (we were woken up a few times during the night), but with the service we received, I would say it outweighed the 1 or 2 less than ideal conditions. Our family in the other room didn't experience the same, maybe fix up room 1 a bit :)

Quiet and peaceful location very close to the airport. Staff is very helpful and kind. Good breakfast included in the price. The room was very clean. Good value for the price; if you need it, you can also cook some food in the shared kitchen, full of everything necessary. In the garden, very nice and relaxing, there are many birds and it's possible to see many antelopes that live in the spacious fenced area. The pool is beautiful.

A little piece of countryside that has slowly been surrounded by the edges of Johannesburg. Only 15 mins from the airport but very quiet and you can lay in a hammock under the trees and all you see is gazelle in the fields and all you hear is birdsong a perfect antidote to the city. Good WiFi throughout the grounds.

The restaurant is only open for breakfast, however we orders pizzas on Uber eats and it arrived in 30 mins.

Amazing value for money when compared to other options close to Oliver Tambo airport. Peaceful huge grounds with springbuck, impala, nyala, duiker, blesbok and deer😄Free shuttle service to the aiport. Good WiFi; only charge R45 per day for secure car parking under shadecloth. Even provided firewood to keep us warm during cold nights👍
