Lovely boutique hotel and spa with excellent facilities, staff and food. The team took great care of us throughout our stay and we had a nice massage at the spa too. The hotel helped provide cars to visit the mall and restaurants in central Sandton as they’re not within walking distance which was really helpful. Room was looked after very well and kept very clean, the property was quiet and peaceful, the restaurant had a good food selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the quality was always very good. Also a good number of sports channels included on the TV which you don’t normally find at a hotel.

Close to everything thing. Team was exceptional.Themba patiently took us through entire property, facilitated an awesome surprise for us in the room. Clifton, the Restuarant manager went all out and blessed us with a lovely gift. Fathy at reception, organised a surprise upgrade seamlessly. The dinner by Douglas was scrumptious, with attention to detail. None of this would have been possible without Liezel’s approval, who believe was the facility manager on duty, and ensured that everything fits together and with excellence. Breakfast was amazing. We left property well rested and will certain return or recommend to anyone wanting seclusion, tranquility and good service.

Nothing comes to mind

l loved the quietness and peace of the place. the breakfast was good. Most of all l loved the spa. the staff was friendly too.

l asked for a late checkout for 2pm. I was told to pay for the full night, they refused that l only pay half the price since l will only check out just before 3pm. l asked to speak to the manager so that we negotiate the the gentleman at the reception refused saying that its the hotel policy. if this is true, l find your hotel to be a bit rigid and not accommodative.

The Service was Excellent!! Really excellent at all levels. The food was Divine !!!! Hats off to The Chef Percy !! The Hotel location is fine also.

The room was big and comfortable and everything. Just a little bit old style in the decor and furniture and a little dark but really nothing to complain about it's my personal taste here maybe. Just a little decor refresh which i think would be good because the hotel decor itself is very nice would have made all perfect for the room. but still very comfortable.

I had a wonderful stay! The manager, Chantel, kindly upgraded me to a jacuzzi suite. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to enjoy the jacuzzi due to my schedule, but the room itself was incredible! The layout and lighting were outstanding; every detail was thoughtfully considered, providing both comfort and a touch of luxury. I will definitely be returning! Thank you once again for the fantastic experience!

The response of the staff and duty manager to appease and resolve a situation when it rose. The Duty manager was fantastic and was sincere and really calmed the situation and enabled us to walk away feeling that we had been heard and the feedback taken on board. Also the onsite Spa was excellent and convenient. A lovely hotel for short or long term stays. Good choice of breakfast offering.

The rooms were large and beautiful. I used the Spa and the service there was excellent.

An item went missing from our room after it was cleaned and the staff were extremely unhelpful with trying to locate it. They just sent housekeeping who said “they didn’t see anything” and that was that. No effort for further assistance at all. We even gave the benefit of the doubt and suggested that it may have been thrown out accidentally but no attempts were made to check the trash and get back to us. Put a damper on the entire weekend.

The staff were courteous and professional. Check in was quick and efficient. The room was comfortable and big.

The fact that there was no hot water . Had to move to another room. The second room also had no hot water had to call reception at 6 in the morning. The person at reception said he'll call me back in 5 minutes but never called back. Finally did get hot water a while later.

Breakfast was great , rooms are spacious, value for money . Rooms were clean . Staff were helpful. Room service was excellent

Alcohol beverages such as ice tropez is way overpriced. Ask stuff about mimosas being part of breakfast and they said yes. I was surprised when I was asked to pay when I was leaving the breakfast. Their alcohol prices need to be checked

I loved the whole out of nature aspect to the facility. And it is very aesthetically pleasing. Loved it.

The noise had me bad :-( “The noise levels have been quite disruptive. Between 11 PM and 5 AM, it appeared that guests at the villa downstairs were hosting a party, resulting in significant disturbances throughout the night.”
