Friendiness of staff and good quality of food. The trees in the compound gave natural ambience that is also healthy and aesthetically appealing.

Failure to have explained the gadgets in room and how to adjust or use them. For instance opening of the glass water bottle is not so easy to figure out on first encounter. Elsewhere, a staff will introduce guest to taps, air conditioning system, and even the TV operation. Leaving guests to figure these out may result in damages.

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Free shuttle to the shopping mall.

Some of the staff were a little rude. At the bar and also at breakfast, it felt as if we were irritating them asking for assistance. They just seemed uninterested, like we were bothering them. Don't get me wrong, not all were like that but a couple just need to remember to smile. Karabo in Reception was effiecient and lovely, I think another lady is called Seipati who served us food, she was lovely too.

An amazing stay at The Maslow! Seamless check-in and out, delightful breakfasts, and efficient in-room dining made for a truly enjoyable experience. I was surprised when asked about housekeeping cleaning my room, which isn't a major issue, just not something I've encountered at hotels before. I was in the middle of a nap when the manager passed by, so pretty disorientating for me, but I could have easily placed the DND sign on the door as well. It's not a deal-breaker, just an uncommon experience for me.

Place is quite exquisite and professional. Smart with clean facilities. The reception is top-notch. I liked it, I never waited for long to both check-in or check out.

Breakfast was okay but it had the same dishes every day. If you could add more virieties. Rooms where fine but a couch to relax will also make the rooms more comfortable. Otherwise, Overall, very good.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and breakfast top notch loved their coffee, cappuccino to be precise, that is made by the barrister behind the counter, not the one from the machine. The dinner menu is huge; there's something for everyone, including the kids' menu. The staff were very kind and accommodating, including their barman.

Found my room unlocked on return from a day's outing, and the safe not taking my password as if it has been tampered with! when I informed the receptionist manager tried to lecture me abt how their door worked and how the cleaner must have left the door partially open and she went on to lecture me on how to operate a safe that I have been using the whole time, 1st they blamed a nail clipper that we had stored in the safe with other items, then it was the way I was opening the safe then it was maybe the batteries needed changing! all of this time was wasted while I had guests waiting for me to have dinner downstairs.

The room was clean, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It felt like home and the lady at the front desk, Nondumiso was very helpful and meticulous in her work. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys a comfortable and peaceful stay in Johannesburg.

I had an emergency in the morning. I called the restaurant and requested that they pack my order as time was not on my side. To my dismay I was told that I should have made an arrangement the previous night and there was nothing they could do for me. Perhaps more agility/flexibility on their restaurant staff could have gone a long was in assisting a client in need.

The concierge was super friendly and gave us a complimentary upgrade to a room that really exceeded our expectations. The space was clean and the Knots was super helpful and friendly. The housekeeping team was also exceptionally friendly and helpful, they even offered to close our curtains and open the bed at night time. Next level service.

The fact that you cannot vape non-nicotine devices outside on the balcony isa bit off putting as you have to go all the way down and outside. If you're enjoying drinks and not keen on company or want to lounge in your jammies and vape unfortunately The Maslow is not the place for you, but if you are okay to dress up everytime to have a puff then its perfect. The food and drinks are also totally over priced, we paid R470 for a bottle of Graham Beck Rose.

Room service , the property was very accommodating to my family by offering late check out and well as keeping our luggage and allowing us to hang around at the pool area whilst we were waiting to be picked up for our late flight .

The coffee machine was faulty and vibrating and you had to stand and hold the cup firmly to avoid it falling off The toilet and shower were not in the best condition

We loved how comfortable and spacious our room was, the 24 hour room service was so convenient and we felt well taken care of. The shower was wonderful, and the bed was extremely comfortable and warm. We think The Maslow is perfect for a staycation.

We truly have no complaints, and staff checked in multiple times with us throughout our trip.

Breakfast spread was good. Unexpectedly, tge fresh fruits offered like oranges, pears etc were excellent and of top quality.

Our stay was twice within 6 days: 12-15 Oct and 17-18 Oct. 1st stay at room 418. The shower cubicle a little small. Bed was only Queen-sized as opposed to King-sized as requested. 2nd stay at room 134. Shower cubicle was big enough. Bed was only Queen-sized. Other than these everything was very good.
