It was a magical one evening stay. My wife and I sometimes choose to be tourists in our own city Johannesburg. The experience was exceptional. the staff were so welcoming. They innocently asked what we were there for and we were there to shop in Sandton for my wife's birthday (I never know what to buy her) and for our wedding anniversary. We went for a lovely supper at the Aurum. Coming back to our room the bed was beautifully decorated in rose petals with 'Happy Anniversary'. We were blown away. Thank you Penelope.

What can one say? Nothing not to like.

great place to stay; breakfast is fine, nothing special, small but good. Staff is very friendly, rooms are very clean and comfortable. We stayed already 2 times her and we will come back.

pool is not heated; in winter time this makes the pool not usable for kids. to cold. furthermore, we requested a late checkout, but this is very expensive, almost same price as the whole room for 1 night.

Loved its very central location in Sandton. Made it very easy for us to get to our dinner and evening locations Extremely clean, the staff and service was excellent. I couldn’t get through to room service but when I called the front desk, they quickly connected me to someone to assist and we were sorted in no time. All the staff we met had a warm smile and demeanour.

Everything - we stayed on 37th floor with an amazing view of Joburg and the city skyline. It was a milestone birthday for my husband and the hotel really made it special which we very much appreciated. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything you could need, with lots of attention to detail e.g. international plug sockets, as well as USB and plug chargers built into the bedside table. The staff were all professional, very friendly and helpful. Other reviews have complained about the slow service for breakfast but that wasn’t our experience. It’s not a buffet, it’s prepared freshly so you expect it to take a bit of time. We really enjoyed the different options and great coffee. Room service was also efficient with good menu options. The location is perfect - right beside Sandton City for shopping and less than 20 min car ride away from rosebank, cbd, etc We loved our stay, thanks to all the staff for making it a great one!

This is being extremely picky and in no way affected our stay but sometimes the housekeeping wasn’t as thorough as could be - came late in the afternoon once and didn’t replace shower cap/towels once.

Fantastic stay overall. I will most certainly be rebooking in the not too distant future. The staff were excellent across the board. Lerato at reception was exceptional in particular during the entire stay but particularly during check in. I appreciate all your efforts! Only recommendation I would make is an improvement on the breakfast menu. It’s a tad boring and doesn’t offer anything exciting and when you’re staying for a long stay it gets repetitive!

Honestly, nothing!

The apartments and the hotel itself are always clean and look new every time I stay here.

The only thing that is super annoying is the room service system. There’s always an issue with either the wrong menu or no menu or wrong hours or something going on. Otherwise the food is tasty. But getting it to your room is a huge pain.

Breakfast was the only let down. Food wasn’t cooke well. The service of the waiters is very slow and doesn’t have direction. When you finished eating, no one clears your plate till you leave. This isn’t good. A big turn around is needed for breakfast. No taste, Under seasoned and undercooked.

The apartment was splendid. Everything was provided in excess, from the kitchen appliances to the towels and toiletries. We were spoilt for choice and pampered by house keeping staff. The apartment and entire hotel was extremely clean. The pool and gym area were spectacular. The hotel rate is quite expensive but great value for money spent.. I can't wait to come back there.

The breakfast was poor. A place like that needs to make provision for better meals or better yet a buffet setting for breakfast. One of the reception staff Lerato had a bit of an attitude

Spacious luxury apartment with stunning views. The romantic turn down was exceptional. I really liked the shuttle between Leonardo to DaVinci hotel. Location is off course great for activities in Sandton City and Nelson Mandela Square

The Club music opposite the hotel went on till 5am and it was difficult to sleep.
