I went there for New Year's. It was the best New Year's I've had yet. The dinner was amazing, I had a burger, my partner, roasted chicken on rice...it was way more tastier than it sounds, trust me! Yes, the stay was very comfortable....we even got to use some of their facilities like the gym and the swimming pool I'm super happy with my time spent there. I'd go back anytime!

There's little to nothing that I didn't like hey. Except that I was in room 1007 and there was door between my room and the room next door which didn't make sense and left little space for privacy. Other than thay, everything was perfect

1. On the plus side, the TV catalogue package and quality is brilliant. Rooms are absolutely amazing. Very modern facilities and set up. 2. The cons are the old dirt on covering of the kitchen chairs. And I was ambushed with paying for parking at the facility. This is not a common practise across the hotels. I recently stayed at the Raddison Blu in Umhlanga. Did not pay for parking. Maybe that needs some looking into. Thats it really. Would have given them a 10 was it not for those two issues.

As others have reported Breakfast was sensational, the chefs and egg chef turned out the best food and sublime poached eggs. We’d stayed in the Sandton area before and this hotel was in a great spot but also ran a regular shuttle to the mall area. The staff were all friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel had a good vibe with the other residents enjoying the facilities whilst we were there. Looking forward to returning.

As a double amputee I needed an accessible bathroom and that was only available in a standard room, that said it was a good room if rather dark. Some issues arose around accessible? The shower head was out of reach for someone in a wheelchair The flexible hose was too short to reach those important parts of the body needing cleaning. There was nowhere to place soap, shampoo etc in the shower area. None of these are difficult to fix to make this a fabulous accessible area but I don’t want to be to hard as this was only one of a very limited number of hotels in joburg that have any accessible rooms.

The breakfast and the room were ok

Although the booking was confirmed by booking.com , I was asked at check in to leave and go to another hotel as I had not paid for my stay in advance and my room was therefore no longer available. The reservation was confirmed by Booking and no advance payment was required. After much insistence my room was available again. I think they do this to discourage getting new customers as much as possible. It is in the interest and credibility of booking to verify this unpleasant inconvenience

The room was comfortable, spacious and very very clean. The outdoor area looked lovely with the lounge chairs by the pool. We didn’t use it due to the time of year and a short visit.

Unfortunately the restaurant was a huge disappointment. The environment looks lovely overlooking the streets of Sandton, however the food was tasteless and the kitchen staff were not bothered when food returned.

If travelling from Tambo Airport, use the train . Direct line, 15 minute journey, costs about R250. Stanton Station is directly across from hotel . The staff are lovely. Professional and efficient. Excellent quality of cleaning. Felt totally safe. Across road from Santon Shopping mall. Buffet breakfast included, thanks to the lovely gentleman chef, greeting everyone with a huge smile and friendliness. Cooked a perfect omelette to individual preferences. Buffet breakfast amazing, huge variety. Door staff very helpful, gave good advice on local area. If doing Hop On /Hop off tour, bus will call to hotel at certain times in the morning and evening . Josie zoo worth . look Highly recommended.

There was nothing about the hotel that was not to like. Staff and facilities great.

The gym, the room and all the facilities were good. I enjoyed them.

I did not eat the breakfast because I was abused by the staff. I dished it up and I asked them to bring to my room. I then decided that I wanted to add some fruits. As I was dishing the fruits the staff started gossiping in a language they thought I don't understand, saying that I cannot pay for one breakfast and eat for two people. They then packed the breakfast. The lady who brough it demanded to get inside my room and demanded payment from me. I had already paid when I entered the restaurant. She was dismissive when I told her this, saying that she had checked my booking and it said 'room only'. I even had to show her the message of the payment confirmation on my phone. I was mistreated a great deal in this hotel.

The breakfast is very good, but having lot of options to choose from would be better. The room is very comfortable but the bathroom had a bit of smell coming from the shower drain. The food though, 10/10

The staff doesn’t have patience for the guests and the smelly drain. If you’re traveling with an uber you have to get off on the street as they don’t have a drop off zone.

Very convenient and close to all essentials

Same meals for buffet please improve. My phone was not working in my room ,reported the issue and no one attended despite several reminders. Restaurant staff need to be professional, sometimes they would shout at each other in front of patrons. I asked for the manager several times and I was told there is no manager at the hotel.

The first thing I noticed when I got in the room was the bathroom, it had a shower and a bathtub. I always request a bathtub when I travel with my son, now I had both. The cleanliness. The gown and sleepers and bath towel. And so many toiletries. And lots of variety of tea. The tv. The safe. The coffee maker and fridge. I have never had so much luxury in one room. Felt spoilt. The breakfast was so good. So much food. And my son had a birthday treat, for free. We felt spoilt. The view was good.

The spoiling us. That was too much. From the sweets at the reception. Now we cant do anything for ourselves, we are thinking about you.
