The staff are the highlight of the hotel. Very friendly, attentive and welcome you with a smile everytime. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Nice breakfast room with a good selection of breakfast foods. They make eggs to order at your request. The hotel is perfectly located to the nearby attractions and shops. You have a small gym on the ground floor. There is a restaurant on site that closes at 23:00PM

Although there is a gym, it was small with not much selection of equipment. Your hotel room doesn't have a fridge, that has to be requested in advance or once you arrive. Not sure if it's just me, but I can't remember ever staying in a hotel that doesn't offer complimentary bottled water in your hotel room.but honestly these are small details for the price I paid and the positives of the hotel. Just want to give an honest review

In general I enjoyed my stay at the Sandton Garden Court — the staff were friendly and efficient, the location was convenient, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A great base for a productive few days in Sandton.

While my overall stay at the Sandton Garden Court was pleasant, I did experience a bit of frustration on the first night due to a very noisy room nearby. The noise carried on past midnight and made it difficult to get proper rest. I’d suggest the hotel considers stronger enforcement of quiet hours to ensure all guests can enjoy a peaceful stay.

My Amazing Stay at Sandton Garden Court Hotel 🌟 I recently stayed at Sandton Garden Court Hotel, and I must say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their friendly and professional service. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is excellent right in the heart of Sandton, close to shopping malls like Sandton City and restaurants. It was very easy to move around using Uber, and I always felt safe in and around the hotel. What stood out most was the amazing breakfast spread every morning fresh, tasty, and with a lot of variety. The restaurant and common areas were clean, modern, and welcoming. This hotel is also great for families. The environment is calm and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring Johannesburg. I highly recommend Sandton Garden Court Hotel to anyone visiting Johannesburg whether for business or leisure.

After very grumpily complaining to the manager, Oral, he made arrangements to give me another room, make sure the aircon and safe was working and even left me a very unnecessary, but much appreciated gift as a token of apology. Oral went above and beyond to make the last 2 nights much better than the first.

My first night was terrible. The aircon control had clearly been vandalized and the room got so hot I couldn't sleep properly, having been up since 3am the morning to catch a flight. The room should never have been made available for occupation. In addition, there were signs around the room warning you to make sure your valuable goods are locked in the safe, but the safe want working at all which meant I had to take 2 laptops, a tablet and various other items with me. Its not just this hotel, probably more than 80% of the hotels I have stayed at safes do not work.

Garden Court Sandton City is a big hotel, with a clearly really big structure and staff. The bed is really good and soft, with good sheets and pilllows and blankets. Bath is warm, good shower. The breakfast is big, with many options, really well prepared. In the hotel you will find options to eat and drink at any time of the day, which always helps foreign travelers. For the smokers, you can book, on reservation, rooms for smokers. The best thing, though, is the fact that the hotel is literally one stairway of distance to the Mandela Square, one of the most beautiful spots in Johanesburg, in our modest opinion, where you will find not only beautiful statues and art, but also amazing places to eat some good south african food.

The room could have a little more space and spots to put and open our luggage and stuff. Also, there was this one guy from the staff, that we will not name it here, that when asked about ratings for exchaging money, had an intrusive approach towards us.

I can walk to sandton mall in 2min(Just cross the road) Comfortable parking and very great trained staff. Shower and bath water is so nice pressure and well maintained but I found two small hair in bath tube.. Breakfast is not variety but more than enough menu and well prepared and clean. Just pork sesage was bit smells but others was all nice Bedding was great but heater aircorn was bit loud while sleeping. But It was really really valuable and personally I don't stay more than once other hotel but I decided to stay only here if I am going to shopping at sandton mall. It was really happy and good memories of family trip. Appreciate it ~~♡

The stunning courtyard features a refreshing pool, surrounded by lush greenery and providing panoramic views of the city skyline. Plus, parking is a breeze, making this gem a convenient choice for any visitor.

I noticed that the rooms lack refrigerators, which would be quite convenient for storing snacks and drinks. Additionally, the gym facilities could benefit from some updates; perhaps newer equipment or larger screens for the TVs would enhance the experience and upgrade TVs in the rooms. Also, I believe that if you're staying at the hotel, complimentary parking should be included as part of the package—it would definitely make the stay more enjoyable and convenient for guests.

My stay at your establishment was excellent in every way. From entering the front door straight to your food. The attention to detail and most of all the comfort was outstanding. I was impressed by the variety of facilities offered by the hotel. a special thanks to your laundry services, that was excellent. Another thing I need to mention, not being from the city, I felt very safe staying in your hotel. Thank you.

The only thing that was surprising to me was that I had to pay an additional fee per day to park my car in the basement for the week I stayed there, but at least my car was kept safe.

Garden Court's strongest asset is its location - cross the street and you are in Mandela Square where you can find a multitude of restaurants and shops for all tastes. Moreover, its staff is very warm and welcoming. Breakfast offers a good choice of food which the hotel tries to vary. The Riffs restaurant inside the hotel offers a correct level of food

Coffee machines at breakfast produce the worst coffee i've been drinking in my whole life. Water bottle not available in the rooms ! this should be reviewed by management as water is essential for life ! The automatic vending machine in the reception lobby is not working properly - struggle with it for 25 mns to try and get water but in vain

The location of the hotel is right opposite Mandela Square, the hotel staff were very responsive and the general ambience and feel of the hotel was awesome.

No much but I would have liked a fridge in my room. I had bought some perishable items and a fridge would have been useful in that regard.
