Breakfast was good. The room was clean and very comfortable. Location was amazing as it was accessible to shopping centres and restaurants. The location was also very safe especially for a woman travelling on her own. I really recommend this place.

Room size is very good. No effects of loadshedding. Has a fridge and freezer, oven, stove etc.. Great value for the price. Location is good too. Also if you're able to get a space, there's secure parking. I would definitely stay here again.

The King Size Bed/Double bed is just two single beds pushed together, and it splits in the middle quite easily. Also the Bathroom could be bigger. Quite compact shower and toilet space.

Great location very central to everything, I loved the shared work space as well as board room so I could get some work done, the apartment itself was quite spacious with a great city view and balcony, fast speed internet and streaming services(of course you must have your own account to log in) which is defiantly a must. staff defiantly made me feel at home even though it was a short stay and i felt very very safe. Will defiantly stay here when i am back in JHB.

Okay so some improvements that can be made is getting pots and other crockery for the unit as it is self catering and i would of loved to make my own food instead of ordering in, having an iron and and an ironing board (I love to have freshly ironed clothes) and it would of been nice to have it readily available for me, a hairdryer!!!! there was no hair dryer in the room and i travelled without mine expecting there to be one but to my disappointment dololo.

It has a very dark vibe but it grows on you. Lots to do in there. Cinema room. Work room. Private lounging area. Bar. Gym. Resultant. There's practically almost no reason to leave. And if you do wish to get out, the Sandton mall is just a stone throw away. Just a tip. You may find the studio apartments more preferable to the roomed apartment, even though they're cheaper. Specifically because of the TV placement. In the bedroomed apartment, you can only watch from the lounging area. Not a deal breaker but mildly inconvenient.

They have a strong emphasis on silence. To be fair, it was never enforced on me personally, but having all the signage combined with the 'we are watching you' kinda makes you wary of using some of their aforementioned services.

Great location walking distance to mall, very modern and clean rooms. I ended up staying in two diff rooms because my travel plans changed. Rooms were spacious. First night there was no hot water which was disappointing, their whatsapp phone line was not working so could not contact and then in the morning it was stated their was a maintenance issue they were working on. Would have just been nice to know before. Was fixed by the time I rechecked in for the second room so was not an issue for long. Wifi was great. Cafe onsite was great, good selection and breakfast was nice.

Some of the areas of the hotel are confusing like finding the gym (on one end says it’s on one level and a different level when you are on the other end). Also didn’t know there was a rooftop until I stumbled across it, would have been nice to be told about all the ammenities my check in was not very explanatory.

Perfect ambience, exceptional facilities and amenities like the gym and study room. Rooms are meticulously designed, reflecting a harmonious blend of artistry and modern sophistication. Very spacious interiors adorned with bespoke furnishings.

Restaurant service was slow on the day. Barely coped with the number of orders we made for the day. This doesn't water down the delicious food that was served, and the space at the restaurant.

The hotel itself had a cool and funky vibe. The restaurant was a laidback, wonderful addition. It's in a wonderful location--quiet and peaceful, but so close to Nelson Mandela Square (less than 10 minutes walking!)

We had booked a one-bedroom suite, and when we arrived they put us in a room through an unexpected door to the side of the reception. It was not comfortable, felt sterile, had a groundfloor view of the parking area, and seemed more like a model room, rather than one for actual guests. On the second day, they moved us to the first floor, into a studio (so not a suite), but it still felt nicer, more comfortable, with a warmer vibe and nicer view from our balcony.

I had an excellent stay at the Black Brick Hotel! The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, and I was especially impressed by Scelo from reception. He was incredibly helpful, even assisting me in getting water at 3 AM. This level of dedication and care truly stood out and made my experience memorable. The rooms were clean, the ambiance was great, and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend Black Brick Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. No aircon in the bedroom

Very centrally located in Sandton. Friendly staff, good restaurant/ cafe where staff also very friendly. Room maintenance very responsive. Spacious rooms. Security was very good so felt very safe.

It was dark inside but appreciate this was part of the hotel (black brick) look. The gym wasn’t user friendly so had to go to Virgin active around the corner. The restaurant menu could have been more varied offering more standard choices beyond Greek food. House keeping was slow but think this is because they were short staffed.

I loved the interior design of the hotel and the room. I loved all the facilities and everything was in working condition. I loved the comfortable bed. The food was delicious.

There was no room service available. We had to request additional towels. We had rowdy guests next door due to wedding celebrations and all over the the property is was stated to be mindful of noise levels. It was disappointing that the staff said they had an event but no staff members told the guests to be quiet. I was woken up at 6am with loud singing and talking.
