Great location, no load shedding!!

I got a little annoyed with my room location. I was right above the restaurant. I felt like I didnt have privacy being the restaurant staff is standing right there. I understand they want to say hello but if i step out on my patio in the morning, I dont want to be bothered. Also , the music was loud and disruptive at times. The housekeeping became a tad bothersome. They would not let me rest. I didnt need service every day and I told them that but they persisted. They even came in and woke me up at times. A few small things came up missing too. Lastly, every time i came into contact with Vuyani, the security guard, there was always a problem as if he was King and you had to appease him. Just keep the place secure and let me be!!

Staff is excellent. Restaurant food good! Common areas are nice. Daily events going on.

I feel the common spaces are nice however the apt decor is a bit too basic & bland/plain. It feels very dorm room-ish. Its also missing little things like a hook in the bathroom for a towel/robe, a cutting knife, dish detergent & rag/sponge (although housekeeping will wash you dishes) so you have nothing to wipe the counter off with if you try & cook, you have to request pot pans iron etc. Small touches that make a big difference. The wifi is not secure'd with a password to get on.

I love the place it is beautiful and situated in a nice area where you have access to everything. I would advise them to give clients direct reception numbers instead of calling an office based in Pretoria then wait to be directed. Have a 24/7 maintenance team onsite. Our AC & TV were not working on the first day and when we called they said maintenance is not available will only be available in the morning. At least they provided us with a heater fan. Breakfast, when we were booking it showed that breakfast was included only for us to go grab breakfast and we are told it wasn’t included in our package. I think proper and clear communication is needed there. Nice place to stay at. They just need to be considerate of certain things.

The 1 bedroom suite was sufficiently spacious for us. The rooms are cleaned and refreshed everyday. There’s a work desk enabling guests to work if required. There’s a kitchen dining set to enjoy your meals. It felt like home away from home.

Our room was right next to the restaurant so we endured loud music. The curtains don’t have a lace meaning you either settle for restaurant staff to have full view of what you’re doing inside or you close the curtains and don’t enjoy natural lighting. Housekeeping can improve as well by using detergents when mopping the floors so the rooms smell good after a clean.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms were clean and neat. On top of that, the hotel had an amazing range of amenities, including a bar, restaurant, pool, and gym, which was fantastic to have on site.

The hotel could benefit from having more cutlery available. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a hairdryer in the room, as I forgot mine. Unfortunately, the early morning cleaning noise was also a bit disruptive. But overall, my experience with this hotel was great!

The breakfast is really nice and the restaurant manager provide a very good hospitality to the customer.

it would be much better if they can provide more bottles of drinking water instead of buying at high price at the resutarant.

The general set up of the room is perfect and practical.

I did not get help getting my bags to the top of the stairs where the reception is located and I did not see a ramp I could use as an alternative to roll my bag up.

The room has a good space, the bathroom is not big but is good enough. The reception team was always very polite and helpful, we arrived a bit earlier and they helped us with our checkin. The location is super good, very safe, we could walk to Mandela Square. The bed is very comfy, the cleaning was good, and we had the AC that helped us a lot with the cold during the winter days in Jozi. Very good price for the service we received.

There is a bit of noise from the corridors to the room, it was not an issue for us but if someone arrives late or leaves too early, you would def hear it from your bed. Hopefully we only heard noises during hours we were not sleeping, the other guests were very careful and polite, Im not sure about how it is when the hotel gets too busy. Another thing that could be better are the corridors to the rooms. We had to walk a very long walk in the corridors to get to-and-from the lift until the bedrooms, and the corridors are not nice or good looking. It was a surprise when we entered the room and saw it actually looked good like in the photos.

Our package did not include breakfast hoping next time we will afford it because we plan to come back, some are even planning to come with their families that's how much they loved their stay. I especially would like to thank the hotel for everything because it's because of the hospitality, cleanliness, excellent service that my group was happy with me for choosing the hotel and for this I am so grateful. Not only were they happy, they were more impressed that I booked such a posh hotel in a posh and safe location for a reasonable and affordable package. They came from different provinces and JOBURG obviously has a bad reputation for being unsafe but after their stay in your beautiful hotel they think differently now and most want to bring their families here because they also saw our beautiful attractions like Gold Reef City they loved it, I could go on and on.
