Great breakfast, generous buffet! Clean rooms, so many light options (passage, room, lit mirror, side lamp!) Good view Rooftop pool (although not seen where pool closing times were advised, we missed it!) I was told we got a free upgrade although was by fire exit so a bit noisy as this was used for staff & laundry lift.

Late arrival was met with a surly reception gentleman (called Keith I think!) who scowled and just flippantly told us we don’t have porters at this time, ask security to help you! I replied well sir I believe that would be up to you to ask him? I can’t do that. Luckily at that time a very happy security guard walked up and very kindly helped us. Wasn’t a good first impression for a five star hotel to be met with a rude and condescending staff member!

Everything. Clean, spacious, linen was so so clean and white and towels were so clean. The breakfast was so outstanding.

The omelette veggies for the second day were not fresh at all making the omelette to taste stale. You should try slice the veggies to be used all on that day, do not use them on the following day if they are sliced. At garden court morning side they did the same and theirs was worse than yours, it was stale. This can cause food poisoning which is fatal don’t take it lightly.

Room was good, no complaints

The kitchen needs some attention. Slow service, waiters forget you, wrong orders (happened twice), lack of ice for drinks. And something in the breakfast options made me slightly unwell - not sure what. It’s a beautiful place but please work on the kitchen

The beds were Extremely comfortable and of a good size. The room itself was well lit and had good ventilation bathroom was in good shape. Great breakfast with many options and great seating. The bar downstairs was a comfortable place to sit and relax and wonderful people working there kind and friendly.

The water pressure of the sink tap was not great ( perhaps for water saving purpose) In our room the door stuck a lot and when closing it it didn't close well so often times had to double check it was closed and force it closed. bar upstairs was a bit difficult to find and our expectations were a lot higher of what we saw.

the room was next to elevator which was very noisy and even after complaining the staff just moved us to thr next room which didn't make any difference or any sense.

1 - Aircon not working despite asking for help 2 - requested room with bathtub, accepted beforehand but on site they said not available despite being there for 5 days

The facilities were excellent, would stay there again.

Paying R40 for a soft drink at the bar is a bit ridiculous. Getting the reason for the price as it “being sandton” is even more ridiculous.

Everything about the hotel is 100%..The staff is very well trained and very clean… It’s strategically located for some1 who wants to run errands in town ..

The room was spacious.

The reception staff are stand-offish and not welcoming at all. I stood at the counter, said hallo no one replied, ignored me for 10 minutes.. went to sit at the sitting area, but still no one spoke or approached me. After 30 minutes, I was well rested on their reception seats, I walked over again and tried to check in.. this time, a male receptionist assisted me who had just come to join the staff that were there. The food was okay. There was a wide variety offered at breakfast. The room was cosy, spacious, and comfortable. The shower was hot, and water pressure was good. The location is good, close to other eateries, and Sandton City.
