Hotel sky will always be memorable for me! It’s not only an accommodation, it’s home and it’s a family! ALL employees went beyond their ways to make my lonely stay a marvellous and joyful! I stayed there for 3 weeks! They upgraded me for free! The manager also offered me a free dinner! The staffs are more than welcoming! The hotel offers entertainment like SBK socials as well as other events! We have an amazing singer every Thursday who made my night and made me feel my wedding night again!!! Wooooooooow! And Victor thank you!!! I will be back again! Food is the best, comfort and all!!!

First impression was the wonderful security at the gate who just meets you with a smile. Second was the wonderful reception staff who really explained everything well and was extremely nice and professional. Third the rooms look great, clean, the unlimited coffee in halls. The security in the rooms itself and the access to the different floors is amazing. Lastly the breakfast is to die for. 100% would recommend.

Nothing I really enjoyed my stay. The central heating was n bit much as I am generally a warm person, but it is not something that would prevent me from staying there again. But I would prefer being able to control my rooms temperature.

We both said how helpful we found the staff. Lawrence at reception, when we arrived. A special thank you to Manelisi and Andrea front office managers, who went above and beyound, to help with everything. Darius and his restaurant staff who were always helpful and smiling in the mornings at breakfast, also the equinox restaurant staff who were wonderful. A big thank you to the cleaning staff. Love the hotel. Wanted a high room, and got it. Love everything about the room, and the stay was close to perfect. Only comment I can make is that when we arrived (somewhere in the later afternoon), there were a bunch of cleaning carts pretty much blocking the hallway. This really gave a bit of a bad impression.

I’ve stayed at Sky Hotel Sandton multiple times, and it’s always an amazing experience. The hotel is modern, stylish, and consistently delivers great service. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-designed, and the breakfast is fresh, tasty, and offers a great variety—a perfect way to start the day. The location is excellent and safe, with easy access to Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton City Mall, and many bars, clubs, and restaurants—all within just a few minutes’ walk. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel makes everything easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Everything was good, clean and comfortable. Location was perfect and we could walk to many restaurants within 5min walking distance. It’s my second time here and even when I tried researching a different hotel, just to explore and try something new, I still ended up at Sky Hotel due to a lasting good 1st impression. And I will definitely go back again.

Honestly, I couldn’t fault anything. The reception can get busy with all the check-ins and check-outs so perhaps more reception staff would be great. Even though there are computers for self online check in/out, giving your name and key to people right there in front of you will still always be a first choice.

Location is excellent. Rooms are small but provide everything you could need. Loved the filtered tap water. Perfectly placed TVs. Superb breakfast.

Aircon was not working and I did not sleep well on the first night - I had to take 2 cold showers in the middle of the night to cool down. I engaged the next day and hotel staff were amazing, moving myself and my colleague to other rooms on the same floor, just as quiet. So check your aircon is working before you get into bed! The night restaurant has very limited offering on their menu for vegetarians. I would love to see a healthy lentil and spinach dish or something similar.

Ideal for me as a solo traveller. Room was clean with good facilities and well looked after by housekeeping staff. Accept comments I’ve seen about room space being on small side which would probably be more of an issue for couples. For me, I’m organised and make best use of space so not an issue at all. Staff were friendly and helpful and I enjoyed my swim in the pool bar area as the weather for me was exceptionally hot for an October visit. A very short walk down West Street took me to the Gautrain station which allowed me to make easy and efficient excursions out to Pretoria and when I left to go to OR Tambo International to rent a car for my trip up to Kruger. I was solo so chose to eat out all of my stay and there were many excellent restaurants, cafés and bars at the very modern and nearby Nelson Mandela Square and shopping mall.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sky in Sandton! The highlight of my trip was definitely the dinner at Eclipse. We went for the Valentine's Day special, and it was absolutely incredible – from the food to the atmosphere, everything was perfect. The breakfast the next morning was also delightful, with a wide variety of options that suited every taste. The staff were all friendly and professional. The hotel itself is beautiful, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sandton. A truly memorable stay!

Minor issues, specifically, the breakfast buffet - The service could be improved, and it would be great to have an additional coffee machine. Also, more options for individuals with special dietary restrictions would be appreciated

The location of the hotel is great.Right at the middle of the city.The appearance is superb.The white colour make the hotel visible and attractive.It is situated right near the iconic,tall Lernado hotel building,but Hotel Sky is there holding its own against the best that Sandton could offer..

Inside the hotel,there are some colours that are not so good.In my room 691 I had one of those colours which I silently said to myself,if I was a manager I could have said,That needs to go.It was behind my bed.Its out of touch with the hotel image.
