Lovely pool. Great air conditioning and good sized rooms. Close to beach and the local bars and restaurants. Greta from reception was very helpful.

The attached restaurant. Very loud music all day long. Expensive menu and poor food quality. Who puts mint on a pizza! The restaurant is a separate business to the hotel and gets very busy and noisy, especially at night time.

Good location close to the beach and as a fairly new built property the lay out and quality of rooms around the pool is great

Quite pricey and no breakfast included. Not sure if the onsite restaurant is under same management or not but the staff there were arrogant and dismissive so hopefully not. We opted to use the kitchen provided by the hotel to get our own coffee and breakfast and avoid the abuse in the restaurant

Asked if they could book us a table at the restaurant and when we turned up they didn’t have our reservation so this clearly wasn’t communicated. Although, the guy on reception when we checked out was nice (didn’t catch his name)

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and can’t recommend it highly enough! The entire staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. A very special thank you goes to the manager, Henry, who went above and beyond for us when we found ourselves in a difficult situation after being robbed. He helped us with everything we needed, showing genuine care and concern. His professionalism and kindness truly made all the difference and turned a stressful experience into something manageable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing. Everything was well maintained and added to the overall great experience. If you’re looking for a place with amazing service, great facilities, and a personal touch, this is the one. Thank you again to Henry and the whole team!

The hotel is very recent, the dorm is large and airy, the beds are springy, the bathroom is modern, the pool is very nice with beautiful landscaping. The employees make you feel welcomed and are very helpful.

-The co-kitchen has no toaster, bottle opener or can opener… -There is nothing to identify your food,nor dedicated space to store it. -There really is a lack of common space to eat your meals. Only two picnic tables, not protected from the rain and lighted by neons from the kitchen… Makes you want to go to the restaurant every night ! -The website mentions coworking space, but this space is a picnic table outside the lobby, smelling of sewers…Ended up paying for coworking space in the village… -Birds or rodents are nesting in between the roof and the bambu ceiling of the dorm, so every night had the surprise to find little animal poo in my bed… (top bunk).

The pool. The location. The staff. I was warmly greeted by Grettel, who took time to introduce me to the property and its facilities. She also gave me good advice about where to visit and where I might best get an opportunity to see bird and wild life. Kevin was the only other staff member that I interacted with but he too was friendly and gave practical advice about my onward travel and places in Costa Rica. I lucked out and a six bed dorm all to myself so enjoyed privacy at a good price point. The dorm room is modern, large, air conditioned and comfortable.

Everything thing was ok. The adjoining restaurant does play music till 10pm but it didn’t affect my sleep and they played a pretty good play list.

When we arrived at yuli hotel we were absolutely thrilled. The Hotel appears to be very new and looks absolutely fabulous. The pool was nicely surrounded by a lot of flora. Our room was spacious, just like our bathroom. The AC worked perfectly, which was important considering the humid air. Mind you we were backpacking and wanted to treat ourselves with a budget hotel. It was definitely worth it. The Hotel is located super close to the Nationalpark and to many restaurants.

Overall the stay was very enjoyable, but there were some slight "icks". The shower was constantly leaking, so we had to sleep with the sound of water dripping every night. They changed our towels everyday, however these never seemed to be totally clean as they had spots and marks. During the evening the hotel was kind of noisy because of the restaurant connected to it. However it always went quiet around 10pm so it was fine. The Restaurant was quite pricy for what it was, but as I understand it it is separate management from the hotel.

I LOVE YULI HOTEL! The property exceeded my expectations— far better than the photos. I booked with very low expectations and was so surprised at the lovely amenities; co-kitchen and pool, large spacious room with strong AC which is nice after being outside all day in the intense midday heat, hot shower water, balcony, and an incredible restaurant (Seba’s, which we dined at twice), and Yoga studio (Sol Rising Uvita) on site. Our rooms were cleaned daily and always felt fresh whenever we returned from our outings. Location is superior, everything we were up to during our stay was just a short walk or drive away, (we had a rental car, highly recommend). One of the biggest highlights though was the incredible service. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, safe, and right at home. I miss the hotel, staff and Uvita so much already that I’ve booked already another trip back. 🥹☀️ Shoutout Kevin et Renée for all your travel recommendations and warm smiles, you’re the best! xxxx 💛🤙🏽

Love, love, love the modern bathroom in their hostel! What a refreshing change from the yucky bathrooms at so many other hostels. I also appreciate that the hostel room is spacious enough to accommodate everyone’s belongings comfortably. Sadly, this is also not the case so many other places. Overall, this was a great experience. Thank you!

I had food stolen in the kitchen every single day. To prevent this, it would be wise to mount shelves/bins on the empty wall that allow guests to keep their belongings separately and mark their ownership.

The pool and the outside environment overall was very pleasant and relaxing. Very close to Marino Ballena National Park.

The breakfast was not included and was expensive. The shower doors were broken as well as the bathroom window and one of the lights. The towels need to be renewed. The restaurant inside is noisy and the music volume was loud, especially at night, which ruined the overall experience. Parking spots are limited and you need to leave the car key at the reception.
