We wish we could stay longer! The hotel is clean, modern and has spacious rooms. The family who runs the hotel are really friendly and go above and beyond for you. We booked our overnight bus through them. Location is great, make sure you walk behind the kitchen area through the alley and turn left and follow the path to get towards the lake area as it’s much quicker than the way you drive in. Pool is clean and the area around pool is well looked after by the family. There is also a pool table and bikes to rent. Breakfast is fresh omelettes and pancakes, plenty of fruit, noodles and rice. Overall are experience was 10/10 and we wouldn’t change a thing.

Lovely little hotel tucked away behind the main path around the river in tam coc. The family running the place could not have been more kind and helpful. We were able to check in early which was amazing as my daughter was unwell. The rooms are beautifully clean, breakfast was similar to all other offerings around the country but was one of the best I’d had. The pool was a great bonus and a lovely place to chill after a days cycling and exploring. We did bird valley, hang mua all on bikes that we hired from the hotel. Had such a great few days with this as our base. Really loved Tam Coc, lots to see and do here, it’s so beautiful. Definitely make sure not to miss a stay in Ninh Binh on your Vietnam trip. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Clean rooms, hot water, lovely pool area and a great family running the place. The location is perfect for exploring. Also the breakfast is the best we have had our whole time in Vietnam. We came for one night and stayed for 5. We also rented a motorbike for a very reasonable price and they helped us transfer money for a tour we had organised previously. We also left early in the morning and when our bus driver showed up 20 minutes early they were kind enough to not only come and find us but the lovely lady who runs the hotel had also made us Bahn Mi’s and gave us water and bananas for our journey. So kind as we were in a rush.

What makes this place so special is the family that runs it. All of them are super friendly and helpful! We had an early check-in, so they left us a note and the keys and we did not even have to pay until we checked out. You can rent scooters here for a good price and also book tours or transportation to your next destination. They really care that you have a good time. They make fresh breakfast every day and adjust it to your liking. On our last day we checked out at 7 am because of the early bus that the staff had arranged for us, and they made special breakfast sandwiches for us, so we could eat it on the way. What a lovely place!

The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is very good. The room is a good size and the bed comfy...good value for price paid as good sized room and pool available (although too cold to use)

The soundproofing... Could hear people on ground floor playing pool people entering rooms and cleaners talking in morning and construction work nearby...i am light and poor sleeper so more affected...and I was in third floor, also dogs barking loudly at 0000 & 0200 as the fan in bathroom is open to outside so broken sleep..also laundry given wasn't what I got back, missing 3 items and hot one that wasn't mine, so make sure you know what you gave ;)

My room was very clean, the bed super comfortable. I really liked the view out of my room. The owners were sooo lovely and heartwarming. They got me new towels everyday and two bottles of water. The breakfast was simple but good! If I had a question, they always helped me out. Laundry was super good! They booked me a bus to my next destination. I was allowed to store my backpack at their reception until my bus came, even if I already checked out in the morning. I really enjoyed it at Tuan Ngoc Hotel (more like a homestay because it’s so familiar) and I felt so welcome 🙏🏼 thank you so much!

The hotel is very modern and beds very comfortable. The pool was lovely and it was a great location to be in Tam Coc. The staff were really friendly and the bike hire was really cheap!

There was ongoing construction that we were not warned about. Although we were out most days, when we tried to relax by the pool this was a bit disturbing. Completely understand that they’re developing but a warning before booking would have been good. Also the breakfast is free but limited.

Gorgeous hotel! Perfect location, lovely rooms. Staff are so so friendly , left a key out when we arrived in late from the bus and also helped us with knowing where to go and renting bikes & motorbikes! Defo reccomend! Really clean also

Location is perfect! However a few more signs would be brill it’s down an alley and we just guessed that it was was the right place and it was but a sign would be better! Also there is construction going on at the moment so the pool area was a little uninviting! But can imagine once it’s done it will be brill!

Such a gorgeous hotel right in the centre of Tam Coc. Easily walkable but on a quiet road so you aren’t disturbed. The photos on booking.com aren’t correct but it’s even nicer in person! Modern, clean, comfortable and the family running it are so kind. They booked our bus for us and drove us to the bus , waited with us for the bus, and then gave us cold water bottles all for free.

There is construction happening, but we couldn’t hear it even in our room.

The staff went above and beyond during our stay - our room was constantly kept clean and well stocked of everything we needed, they gave us a map on arrival and informed us of all the activities/things available to do near by and they even made us sandwiches and gave us bananas to take with us on the last day since we had to check out before breakfast was served Such friendly faces, would highly recommend this hotel!
