A quiet hotel yet in the heart of the citadel and shops and restaurants . It had a lovely atmosphere and our room 407 was a good size.

Lighting was too dark and dim in the bedroom but this is a minor point.

Ideal location, great breakfast, very friendly staff, very comfortable beds, great water pressure, surprisingly quiet. Sort of bare bones, no frills rooms, but it was perfect for us.

Several assorted maintenance issues. For instance, the white window covering on one of our windows was broken before we checked in so we had to leave the blackout curtain shut or have the people on the steps see straight into the room. Also, that same window’s vent (handle up) open setting was broken. Also, there was a weird stain (blood?) on our bathroom door that never got cleaned. Also, the WiFi didn’t work consistently in our room (constantly dropped). Lastly, there were no washcloths provided, which would’ve been nice.

The location is supreme. Inside the city walls and we were on the 1st floor overlooking the square where buskers perform most evenings. We loved it. Struck up a chat with one of them - David Kendal a refugee from the USA! Plays a mean octave mandolin. The vibe of the area was wonderful. Good dining in the immediate vicinity. Handy to the Ferry Terminal for our next stage to Guernsey. Just a short walk away at the bureau deTourisme and Bus pick up for the trip to Mont St Michel - shame about the weather but one can't beat bad luck! My wife was carrying an injury and the hotel reception manager was very helpful getting us a taxi to get us to the Ferry Terminal on time. Have waxed lyrical about the place to all of our friends.

There is very little not to like. The Manager was excellent and helpful at all stages of our stay.

Excellent location Intra Muros, with Carrefour supermarket nearby. Very close to the beach, main attractions, shops, a lot of restaurants. We had an electric kettle in the room to have tea or coffee in the evening.

Our standard room was a bit tiny, having a small bathroom separated with a sliding door only. When taking a shower, the whole floor was wet:( No hooks in the bathroom. Breakfadt had the same variety of products every day, okay for several days but might be not for a longer stay. These are minor inconveniences which did not spoil the overall positive impression about the hotel.

The room had a lovely view, was spacious and a comfortable bed. Parking is in a main car park around a 5 min flat walk away.

Due to the central location it was quite noisey early in the morning with road sweepers etc. there wasn’t any milk in our room only two sachets of coffee but we were able to ask for more. There’s no bar to get a drink. We weren’t told how to access to building after reception closed so we were stood outside for a while until a porter saw us and showed us how to access via a side door.

Location was perfect, everything we needed was on our doorstep. Beautiful views from room. Air con & lift. Great shower pressure & comfy beds. The guy that checked us in was absolutely lovely - made us feel really welcome. Breakfast is a knockout with everything you need to eat (hot & cold options) and good coffee.

My only suggestion for improvement is so minor I almost don’t want to add it - 1. nicer towels (they were small) and 2. one or two more pillows (have 2 per double bed, 4 would have been a nicer touch!) but in saying that not a deal breaker and I’d book again and recommend to friends and family!

The location was great. The balcony was a highlight and the room was a good size for the family. Breakfast was pleasant and enough variety for everyone.

The air conditioning was not working. At first we thought maybe it was on a timer. My husband told the man at reception who said he would try and sort it out, but no one came to look or fix it. Sadly it was the hottest night of the year so far and the music festival was on (until 1am) which we were not aware of. As we were travelling with young kids we had to keep windows shut due to loud noise. The music was great, we just weren't prepared for it with the kids after driving all night the night before. The hotel also gave no mention or warning of a music festival on our street. A heads-up would have been appreciated.

The room was very fashionably decorated and was comfortable. We had fantastic windows overlooking the streets which meant we could enjoy the vibes and also the street music from our room. One night we left the windows open as it was hot and the early morning cleaning/ delivery/ rubbish noises were loud, BUT that was our mistake as the aircon was very good and with the windows shut it was very quiet ( good sound insulation). The staff were lovely. Very attentive and polite.

The breakfast was plentiful and 7am to 10:30 The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was a bonus

We were pleasant surprised to find our room was made up while we went down for breakfast on the 1st morning of our 3 night stay. Unfortunately this was the only time it was done , so no fresh towels and tea/coffe condiments not topped up and toilet roll run out … So disappointed that the rate charged didn’t meet our expectations. We possibly won’t be back again.

The hotel is located near the main entrance to Intra Muros. The room was very comfortable. It was the day after Ascension and St Malo was buzzing with noisy visitors until late in the night. The breakfast was outstanding! We had to catch the ferry and breakfast was prepared at 6 a.m. for the four of us as we had ordered a taxi for 6.30 a.m. I strongly recommend this hotel.
