This small family run hotel is very clean, well run and very friendly. The family are fluent in Italian, German and English. The breakfast is excellent and if you are hungry in the morning then this the hotel to choose. It is also placed in a relatively quiet part of the lake shore front (despite church bells which weren't a problem) but is only less than 5 minute walk from the busy central part of Garda itself. We had a wonderful stay here during our recent holiday.

The location was a wonderful surprise. It was perfect. My room was clean & totally liveable. The hotel remains family run & is as cute as . Breakfast was excellent. Generous & wide range of breads/ croissants, meats, cheese, eggs, served to your table. So good. & they leave a fridge full of water & alcoholic beverages for if you want to grab a drink after hours.. so very family!! My room was very comfortable, & clean.

Perfect location, next to the lake and the main bus station in Garda. The hotel is cute and well preserved. Our room, located in the last floor, had views to the church and the mountain. It had basic furniture as well as toiletries. Despite being on top, wifi worked flawlessly. The room and bathroom were clean and quite spacious so it was comfortable for two. Having AC was a big plus as it was +30C when we were there. The family owning the hotel are quite nice. Although the checkout time was at 10am, we were able to leave our luggage in the hotel until our departure. They serve the breakfast, which was great, with plenty of sweet and salty options. It was nice we could have a second fresh coffee every morning.

Overall the experience was great and I can recommend this hotel to anybody who prefers a small hotel, but here are three things I would suggest the hotel to improve at some point: • The windows. We could hear the "animation" happening in the bar downstairs and even distinguish the songs they were singing, as well as the church bells (which was fine for us), even with the window closed. • It would be great to have some extra pillows in the room. They were a bit plain, so both my partner and me woke up with a bit of neck pain a couple of times. • A small fridge to store water would be a huge plus, given how hot the area can be in Summer. Even a shared fridge in the hallway would do.

I recommend this hotel - San Marco! The service is so good!!!!! Amazing! Very family friendly! Armida and Massimo are amazing, any question or problem they help with everything, with a smile and love. The view is perfect for the lake and the location is accessible to many other places to go for a walk. All the staff are lovely (: . I believe we will definitely come back again. Liana.

Location was very good: just few steps from swimmimg spots in Garda lake and hiking trail to the mountain. The family owned staff was very attentive and accomodated our preferences proactively. We had a lovely stay!

Excellent location by the lake, but not in the center where the restaurant noises are. The next door traditional restaurant serves great food.

Beautiful places to rest and also as a place to visit in other parts of garda lakes. The hotel has a good location and many restaurants around the hotel (some of them have that same wall as the). About a 5-minute walk, you can find a good beach (rock beach). The hotel offers a basic continental breakfast without hot meals. The hotel staff is very professional, kind, and helpful in providing all information

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, served to the table with lots of choices. Room was clean, ours with a stunning view to the lake. Location was central by the lake but not too close to noisy restaurants/bars if you like more peace and quite.

Air-con could have been more efficient.

It is a family owned hotel and you can definitely feel that warmth once stepped into. Amazing rooms, delicious breakfast served to your table with wide variety of meats, cheeses and yoghurts. The room had everything necessary hairdryer, towels of different sizes and AC.

Everything was wonderful!
