Friendly owner who really makes the effort to makes sure you have everything you need. Made extra effort to accommodate food allergies for breakfast. Room had a lovely view and was veyr clean and well stocked. Good selection of tea in the rooms not just the normal breakfast tea most rooms have. Fridge in the room with fresh cake. The bed was very comfortable and the windows had both blinds and curtains to make sure that you had a good night's sleep and are not interrupted by the daylight. At breakfast they gave recommendations for local places to eat for dinner. We would definitely want to stay there again if we are in the area.

This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Heritage View is a beautiful building, and we had a stunning view of the Iron Bridge from our room (listed as Superior King Room on Booking.com, or the 'Ironbridge Room'). Jules is an incredible host and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was wonderful (I wish I could cook eggs as well as Jules!) and the room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The cake on arrival was a special touch and Jules even got us a little gift once she found out it was our anniversary.
Nothing - it was perfect. You must visit here!

Lovely location and beautiful guest house. The room was fantastic with an amazing view of the Gorge and the Bridge; we were delighted to find very large pieces of fresh home made cake in the fridge, which also provided bottled water. Tea and coffee and other hot drink options were also provided. Breakfast provided was excellent in terms of food provided, options, quantity, presentation and service. We only stayed done night, and ate in Ironbridge centre which is a very short walk from Heritage View and offers multiple very nice options. The owner Jules was absolutely lovely; incredibly helpful and friendly. we would definitely recommend Heritage View and would stay again. Ironbridge is beautiful and has a wealth of museums and local quirky shops to visit. Well worth a visit!
Nothing – I cannot think of anything that would have improved our stay. However, just be aware that you will need to park on the road as Ironbridge is short on parking (though the road feels very safe and some stretches of it are wide). However, we were able to park quite close to Heritage View; Jules the owner even offered to move her car so we could part closer to the door. Do investigate access in advance if anyone visiting has mobility restrictions. I believe there is good parking in the town centre.

They’ve set the bar so high, we never want to go anywhere else! Having stayed at many other guest houses, we are always a little apprehensive about meeting the host’s and not knowing what to expect. Thankfully, this all changed for us during this stay. We were met at the door by Jules, well, what a delight, Jules is the most friendly and welcoming person we have ever met, within the first few seconds of meeting, we felt like she was just an old friend, immediately we were at ease and felt right at home. We can’t really explain to you how good Heritage view guest house really is and we don’t think even Jules realises how good she is and what an absolute gem the house is. On arrival, Jules ensured our room was perfect before welcoming us inside and taking our breakfast order.. We had planned to go out during the evening but we were so cosy that we decided to stay in. We had a prime view, looking down on to Ironbridge, the river severn and the shops along the main street which are like a scene from the old Christmas Carol movie. The views are so good, we decided to leave our curtains open so we could gaze at the surreal backdrop. We had an extremely peaceful night sleep before awakening ready for breakfast. The breakfast is amazing. High quality produce, plentiful givings and then the bonus of Jules being there to make you feel relaxed was simply first class.. Although our stay was short, we were left feeling perfectly relaxed and not wanting to leave. Never done this before but, Heritage view guest house gets a Gold award. We only have one criticism which is that, Jules has set the bar so high that we are not going to want to stay anywhere else other than Heritage view now. Jules, thanks for restoring faith back into humankind, if only there were more people like you the world would be a much better place. And your family are just as nice too. Thank you.. Truly amazing!!! Karl & Mo.

Ironbridge has a long history of industry—once it was smelting iron with coke, now Merrythought makes teddy bears. Nestled along the steep sides of a deep gorge carved by the River Severn, the town is remarkable to visit. Julie’s guest house, Heritage, made our stay especially enjoyable. She warmly welcomed us on arrival and helped with parking, which was much appreciated given the narrow, steep roads on the hillside. The guest house itself is beautifully looked after, with elegant dark wood floors and a spotlessly clean interior. The breakfast room, richly decorated with William Morris designs, has breathtaking views from its windows. Julie served us a superb breakfast: fresh fruit with yoghurt, a perfectly cooked omelette prepared without salt (as requested), toast, and a generous pot of coffee. Our room was charming, comfortable, and immaculate, with two pieces of Julie’s delicious homemade coconut cake waiting for us on the dresser. She even rang ahead to book us a table for dinner at the White Hart Inn. Though we stayed only one night at Heritage, it was a truly memorable visit in a fascinating place.

Firstly, Jules. The landlady. What a wonderful ray of sunshine she is! The attention to detail, the treats, the little extras, the fountain of information to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as it could possibly be! I need a Jules in my life 24/7! The guest house itself, we stayed in the Ironbridge room. Gorgeous. The view is, pretty much, as perfect as it could be. It's clean, comfortable and well stocked with the things you would normally wish to find. Gorgeous place to stay. 1000% recommended from us!

We stumbled upon Heritage Guesthouse by chance when looking for a place to stop between Liverpool and The Cotswolds to break up a journey and wow, how glad are we! Firstly, communication from Jules was brilliant and thorough. When we arrived she greeted us and immediately made us feel so welcome! Our room was spotless (Captain Webb Room) and was so bright and airy, with two seats looking out onto a beautiful view! We even were treated to the most amazing brownies ever!!! There has been no expense spared with this beautiful period property and it really shows, the quality of the bedding, soft furnishings & crockery are some of the best I’ve seen. Thanks for a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!!! Charl & Jeremy xxx

Heritage View is a charming B&B in the middle of Ironbridge. Up a slope so it overlooks the bridge and next to a beautiful church. Clean and beautifully decorated, it is such a great place to stay - our third visit. Jules is an amazing host. Nothing is too much trouble and she has done an amazing job building up her successful business. Homely touches like homemade cake and even a Baileys as it was Christmas time! This is why we shall go back again and again for many years to come.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Heritage View Guest House bed and breakfast in Ironbridge for one night, and it was truly a perfect experience for both us and our Cavapoo puppy. From the moment we arrived, the owner welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. Not only was the room cozy and beautifully decorated, but it was also incredibly dog-friendly. Our Cavapoo puppy had a blast exploring the room. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and freshly prepared, with a variety of options to choose from. Our puppy even had a special bowl of breakfast to enjoy while we ate. The owner was attentive to our needs and made sure both us and our furry friend were well taken care of. The location of Heritage View Guest House is perfect for pet owners, with easy access to walking paths and pet-friendly establishments in the area. We were able to take our puppy for a leisurely stroll around Ironbridge and he loved every minute of it. Overall, I highly recommend Heritage View Guest House bed and breakfast for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay in Ironbridge, especially for those traveling with pets. The owner was lovely and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, and our Cavapoo puppy can't wait to come back for another visit.
Only thing was the mattress was very firm, was a little uncomfortable.

Light and airy room with every facility. Good choice for breakfast. With Julie as a welcoming and homely hostess [nothing too much trouble] we thoroughy enjoyed our stay at Hertage View. Strongly recommended.
The `heritage view` obviously involved a hill climb - need to know your car for parking and manoevuring. But it came as part of the holiday with locals looking out to help visitors.
