We had a fantastic stay at Villa Marea! The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection that really set the tone for each day. The location is ideal - central, yet peaceful, with easy access to the beach, old town, and nearby shops. One of the highlights was the free bike rental (locks included), which made getting around Rovinj super easy and fun. We also really enjoyed the pool area - well-maintained with comfortable beds, plenty of shade, and a relaxing vibe throughout. We were enjoying it so much that we extended our stay by 3 more days (2 nights) while we were there. The staff were welcoming and flexible, making everything smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located stay with great amenities and a laid-back atmosphere.

This is a friendly, small, family run hotel. The rooms are clean and modern. We had two rooms, one of which was a studio which meant we could prepare light lunches to eat on the balcony. The location is very good - close to beaches which provide plenty of shade under trees. The walk into Rovinj old town is 20-25 minutes which we thought was fine and a good way to walk off dinner. Rovinj old town is beautiful and a great place to wander round in the evening - loads of lovely restaurants and sunsets. Very friendly dog!

Parking right outside. Walking distance from Rovinj (approx 20 mins and shade on streets so not too hot) Room wasn’t luxurious but very comfortable and had everything we needed for a couple of nights. Pool area was lovely and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Not at all the property’s fault, but we were unable to get Uber. We should have asked the staff to call us a taxi but no big deal. Driving into Rovinj is a no-no in our opinion. Parking a nightmare!! No lift and we had to get two large cases up two flights of stairs, which was manageable but a lift would have been greatly appreciated!

Lovely quiet property in a residential neighbourhood, a 20 min walk from the town centre or 10 minutes by bike (the hotel has free bikes available for guests) and close to the beach - really recommend cycling into town for dinner via the quiet coastal path (about 4km). Nice buffet breakfast which we ate outside on the garden terrace. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a good size (we were upgraded from a double to a suite) - both the room and the bed were very comfortable. The pool is small but very nice for a refreshing dip after sunbathing or sightseeing. A couple of nice restaurants and a supermarket about 2-3 mins walk, otherwise Rovinj has many excellent restaurants and bars and some delicious gelato!

Would have preferred two separate beds for me and my daughter but that was not a major issue. Lovely stay - very quiet and relaxing.

Extremely friendly family run establishment. Spotlessly clean & the family & cleaning staff were lovely. Free coffee all day in reception. Plenty of choice for breakfast & all of the food was delicious. Could eat breakfast inside or outside. Pool area was nice - well maintained & quiet. Loungers around the pool & another seating area. Supermarket & bars within easy walking distance. 25 minute walk into Rovinj. Free use of the hotel’s bikes.

No lift - was fine for us but could be an issue for some people.

Large well appointed and equipped studio. Lovely modern decor. Large comfortable bed and great shower. Fresh delicious breakfast. Everywhere was immaculate. Lovely happy and helpful staff. Plenty of road worthy free bikes available. Lovely pool in small garden.

Whilst the sea is an easy walk. To get into Rovinj is a long walk. Probably the intense heat made this journey hard. Taxi not cheap. Limited sunbeds at busy times.

Very comfortable, modern villa about a 30 minute walk from the stunning old town of Rovinj in a quiet residential area. We were very pleased to be updated to a studio apartment with a very nice balcony terrace. The apartment was spacious, tastefully decorated, the bed comfortable and the breakfast varied and tasty. The garden and pool were lovely and well maintained. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly which made it a relaxing and restful stay.

Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The charming young woman at the desk went out of her way to recommend places to walk, which sites are a must-see and places to eat. A really positive atmosphere was throughout the villa and the room was spacious and filled with comfortable touches. The staff easily switched languages with their guests and were genuinely enthusiastic about our stay and their city. This review would be incomplete without a special recognition of Masa - the gentle calm and adorable mascot. This pup was a hit and welcomed any and all attention.

I am very picky about the accomodation when we are on holiday, but there was nothing to complain about. The room has everything you need, all the little details are so perfectly planned. My favourites are the hooks/hangers in the bathroom and also in the room for the jackets and the other one is the warderobe, which has shelves, not only hangers. These are just small details adding to my comfort. The owners are always there to help! They can help you with literally everything and they do so with a smile on their face all the time! In the lobby there is free coffee all day long and you can take the bicycles for free whenever you want. The beach is like 5 minutes and the old town is cirka 15-20 minutes by walk, so perfect location. Highly recommended!

Small, intimate hotel in a quiet area. Spacious rooms, very clean and with a comfortable bed. Well equipped. Nice balcony for sitting in the evenings. Kitchen sufficiently equipped. Tasty breakfasts. Pool clean, small but comfortable. Free bikes, good quality and enough. Close to everything - to the city, shop and beach. I recommend
