Beautiful grand old pub, it's been done up but still retains all the old school charm. We stayed on State of Origin night and the pub didn't disappoint. The atmosphere was great, the staff and locals were friendly. The food is delicious. The place is exceptionally clean. There is also a vacant block attached to pub if your kids want to play footy. Appropriately priced. Comfortable beds and pillows too. Make sure you read the booklet in the room with all the history of the town, very interesting.

It was fine for us, but some people may find the original old pub stairs a bit hard on the knees. The private ensuite was soooo clean, but it is across the hall from your room.

It was very nicely laid out, small room (lovely cosy factor) but there still felt like there was room for 2. The food in the pub was lovely - we accidentally ordered the wrong thing and ended up being happy that we did! Staff were amazing! Super helpful and very accommodating to us.

We had a comfortable room within the old historic Mount Morgan pub. It has a lovely shared verandah outside the rooms and was a nice spot to eat our breakfast.

The ensuite to the family room is across the hallway directly in front of the room. It is lockable from both sides and is not really a big deal just slightly inconvenient. No plates or knives provided but there was a toaster!!!

The grand hotel is centrally located in Mount Morgan, easy walk to shops and the local Cafe.

The stairs to the rooms. I have arthritis in the knees, so it was a bit of an effort to walk up and down.

Rooms were small, but cosy. Food was good! A lot of character! We enjoyed our stay.

Staircase was beautiful, but a little extra light would have been appreciated to negotiate the way.

Being an old pub the character was brilliant. The staff were excellent. We had the best steak dinner. The property is currently being upgraded which will only make it better. If ever going through Mount Morgan again will most definitely stay again.

Walls are pretty thin - got woken early by a neighbour's early morning alarm.

This is a basic old style hotel room but consistent with the age and character of the hotel. The shower was hot with good water flow. I am tall but the bed and pillows were comforatable. We had dinner in the hotel bistro with a larger group and service and food was good.

The rooms are listed with an ensuite bathroom. Each room does have a dedicated ensuite bathroom but it is not attached to the room. You have to leave the room and go to the associated batroom through a commom area. This was not a huge issue and is common in these older historic hotels. Only an inconvenience when you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Excellent location have stayed on a few occasions en suite bathrooms are excellent, not Rooms 1&2 are actually opposite the room. Great food friendly staff.

Bathroom was spotless. Very comfy bed..Great meals in the bistro.

Stairs to room were a little challenging but what would you expect in such a lovely old pub.
