Coming from the north, we had to go around the block to get to the motel. A bit awkward. Had to rely on GPS otherwise we wouldn't have known where to go. We arrived at night, and the road to get to the unit was very uneven and unlit. No signage to get to the unit without having to ask. Even though the open hours were listed to 6.00pm, the reception was kept open until 6.25 when we phoned ahead to say when our GPS indicated our expected time of arrival, due to being held up with roadworks.

No powerpoint near the bedhead for a CPAP machine or lights at the bedside for reading. A flat plate would have been welcome to eat some food when we arrived.

Everything in close proximity On site and surrounds. Most comfortable bed. Excellent pub meal. Manager lovely man.. Very busy. Busy Business.. Really AppreciatebTHIS Business Training Younger People's. Awesome Staff! Thank you.

Town is Hot! Aircon needs to be on Early in the day...At night Mega Aircon! ❤️ Best as...Thank you... Just the nature of the Geographic area..The land is Hot... ***And I'm sorry, There is No Pool as advertised..

This is a single level motel, so no noise from above. It is on the highway but the aircon blocked out the traffic noise. My bed was fairly new and very comfortable. The heavy coverlet was far too hot, even with the AC cranked up. But, thankfully, a lighter blanket was available in the storage rack. Great to have a jug, toaster and microwave that all appeared relatively new.

This is a very old (dated) motel that has had a fair bit of updating in the rooms. The ceiling remains the 50's style fibro in drab brown. Would have been nice to provide a tea towel, shampoo and conditioner as most other motels provide. This motel is competing with another 2 nearby that are more modern and provide complimentary breakfasts, with similar pricing, so I doubt I will be a returning customer.

The room was extremely clean, the bed very comfortable, toilet clean, and the shower had great pressure. Didn't know what to expect from the outside, but the old adage, "don't judge a book by its cover" couldn't be more adapt here! Would definitely return and recommend!!

Great location, reception welcoming, easy no fuss check in & payment. Under carport cover for 1 car at each rooms door. All rooms have a back door opening to a massive communal area with artificial grass - unexpected & I liked it. FAB shower.

I've stayed here 19 times in ten years. In my opinion, the best value motel in Rockhampton. A bit sparse with furnishings but the essentials are there. Very highly recommended for value conscious travelers.

Not a thing but perhaps the lack of cutlery and crockery.

Large room , very clean and easy access to all that you need. Plenty of parking and under cover.

Very cramped around wash basin and shower no hooks for shower stuff. No bowls for cereal or utensils.

we found the top 1 motel to be the best value for money , the bed fantastic , the shower powerful and hot, you could have eaten your dinner of the floor it was that clean . we have NEVER had such value for money the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble security was A1 we would not hesitate in recommending top 1 motel for your stay in rockhampton
