The lodge is really very, very lovely. It is a short walk to the quad chair and gondola is a little further on. It is located close to the local bus service that transfers from the station and the airport. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The communal areas are comfortable. cosy and inviting. The drying and storage facilities are very good and there is a comfortable space to gear up every day. The breakfast is generous - combination of cooked and buffet style toast/cereal/croissants/juice. Coffee and tea making facilities and a microwave are available for use 24 hours. The room (we had three bed) is generous in space but there is a lack of places to keep clothing- need more hanging and shelf space.

The host was kind during our late check in; he recommended a local restaurant that was delicious. They have a dry room for ski equipment. Breakfast was good- protein every day (fish; egg; onion/meat, etc.), juice, cereal, toast, and fruit, great for skiers. The common area had a wood fireplace, lots of comfortable chairs, and also a massage chair that my daughter loved. The guests were also nice- similar mentality and friendly. Location was about a 6- 7 minute walk to Kitanomine gondola, so convenient to skiing. The pension was very clean; two pillows per bed; blankets upon request; cell phone charger to loan (we had forgotten ours); and good pressure/temperature for hot water shower. Room was spacious, spotless (super clean), and comfortable. Good quality sheets and pillows. Fabulously soft blanket. Loved this gem- will return for sure.

Very minor thing- I'm a black tea drinker. The quality of the black tea could be improved.

Friendly staff, great included breakfast, convenient public lounge (with hot drinks, dishes/utensils, microwave so you can have takeout foods comfortably), nice room, great amenities for skiers/snowboarders (workbench, wax and iron, tools, storage area, boot dryers), great location (short walk to Furano lifts). Staff even accommodated my request for earlier than usual breakfast one day (we had to head out early that day). Highly recommend.

Loved everything, no complaints.

Great location, located within a few minutes walk to the ski lift. Beautiful, peaceful ski lodge. Comfortable and spacious beds and rooms. Very clean and tidy. Handy to have breakfast offered and it was always delicious and every day was something different being offered. There was another parking right outside. Good selection of free teas and coffee in the lodge. While there is no kitchen, the staff have got plates and cutlery you can use and a microwave and hot water.

Cosy and cute B&B, with a Western-style breakfast served in the communal dining space. The staff were very warm and friendly, welcoming us to the B&B and giving us recommendations for food around town. Fluent in English as well. The room was a decent size and we had a comfortable stay.

For light sleepers, the soundproofing is not great... I could hear the next room's toilet flushing sounds (not loud, but audible). There were some elephant feet stomping up and down the stairs, and some conversation sounds coming from the room if you were just standing outside in the corridor.

From the moment I stepped into this place, the feeling was brilliant. Johnny greeted me with the biggest smile and most gracious welcome ever, and his wife is also a wonderful ambassador. The room was massive with excellent showers and towels and a huge, comfy bed. The room was nicely decorated and even had a wildlife scene on the wall. The common areas of dining, lounge and fireplace were inviting and one could well envisage this being vibing with customers during skiing season. Having a washing machine was handy and it was well away from the rooms for a change, so no one got disturbed. To top it off breakfast was included and Johnny's wife had prepared the ingredients the night before and the morning staff cooked it superbly. This is how a guest house should be, comfy, inviting, practical, clean and well run, as it rates as my favourite accommodation during this holiday to Japan. Thanks 😁

Very clean and spacious rooms enough space for ski luggages. What a bargain for this price including breakfast too. Staff are nice as well.

I think you get what you pay for, there is no onsen here and the beds are just alright, I find the mattress and pillows a bit uncomfortable, but it’s very decent for the price I would say. I was also given a room with this extra triangular shaped window that had no curtains (the other windows did) so it got very bright by 6am.

New property, spotlessly clean. As pensions go, this was more of a home setting with a lounge area on the ground floor. Fantastic breakfast. Good amenities in terms of coffee / tea / water dispenser / microwave. Super friendly staff. Rooms and bathroom larger than usual. Shower pressure was good.

A little far off - so might be a little difficult to get to if you don’t have a car. Would be a plus plus if they have a bath facility(!). As they have only one laundry washer / dryer, it could be a challenge when they have more guests staying. Do take note that rooms are all upstairs but staff can help with luggage if required.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was exceptionally cozy and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring. The complimentary breakfast was a fantastic bonus, offering a variety of options to start the day off right. Additionally, the public areas were inviting and perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea or a bite to eat. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to return in the future. Highly recommended!

This family run hotel was amazing. We arrived well before check in and we were able to access our room. The beds were comfortable and large. There is a very cosy family room/dining room with lounges and a fire , a drying room and storage for skis and boards as well. The home cooked breakfast was just what we needed before hitting the slopes, with the gondola only a few blocks walk away. The staff were so accommodating that when we weren’t able to get a taxi, they offered to drive us with their van.
